What was she doing here?
She didn't do this sort of thing.
Her fingers tapped at the steering wheel while her mind slipped into deep thought now. This was the first time she had answered someone waiting to hook up with her and it was sort of a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing. Dominique's eyes scanned her surroundings as she was currently having second thoughts. It wouldn't be polite to ditch now since she was already here and waiting in her vehicle because what if she had already been spotted? Her mind was going around in circles and she started to get a little dizzy from thinking too much, which was her specialty. It was more definite now than anything as she exhaled a light breath from her parted lips. Dominique's eyes went to the clock on her cell phone as she placed her head against her headrest, closing her eyes as another breath left her. She often wondered to herself what her parents would think if they knew what she was up to right about now.
Nerves started to swell up inside of her but yet, but she still sent a message to the mysterious stranger that she was here and about to head on up. There was no turning back now and it was now or never. Once the message said delivered, Dominique finally turned her engine off, grabbed her small purse, and emerged from the vehicle, which she locked with the simple click of a button.
As she walked through the main entrance and up the stairs, her hues studied every inch that surrounded her in case she needed to escape. Dominique's mind always goes to the worst thought possible and she had absolutely no idea as to why. She walked past a window that caused her to stop and stare at herself. It was obvious that she was overdressed for this type of situation but honestly, she didn't have any lounge clothes or anything of the sort. Even her ebony locks of hair were in perfect place though it was tied into a ponytail. This is how she was raised and honestly couldn't help herself but still, she ascended the stairs before finally reaching his door and stood there for a moment.
After a few short breaths to calm her nerves, she raised her fist up to tap on his door and stepped back as her fingers wrapped tightly around the straps of her purse. As Dominique waited, she tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear and raised her gaze up to stare at the male who opened the door. 'At least he looked like his profile picture.' She thought to herself while pursing her lips to a smile before offering him a small greeting. "Hey," Her hand lifted up for a little wave as well while she took one step forward and another before finally being inside his apartment, which her eyes scanned briefly as she turned to face him. "Nice apartment." She stated, which probably sounded like an insult though it wasn't her intention.
Once she was a little more comfortable, she removed her buttoned-up trench coat that adorned her body and flung it onto a nearby couch along with her purse. "So, what happens now?" That question was a clear indicator that she had absolutely no idea what she was doing and this was her first time. Her hands gripped each other as she stood there, staring at the person in front of her to gauge his reaction and see his next move.
