The topic isn't meant to be super controversial, but here we go.

When writing do you put warnings or tags in the beginning of your story for the sake of "potentially" triggering someone. I know a lot of people into a lot of shit, and thats cool. no kink shame.
But im curious how everyone else thinks.

my stories are generally pretty vanilla. But I don't see any significant issue with putting up potential trigger warnings in the first post, if you feel it's necessary. That's a 'general' you. If your RP involves visceral details of someone getting gutted or violated, a heads up probably wouldn't hurt if you think others are reading your story.

For me, very little is off-limits in terms of the content in the RP, but I do have a couple outliers. The rest are (thankfully) not allowed on this site anyway, so it never comes up.

But yes, if you have triggering content in a RP that is publicly viewable, it might be prudent to tag it to avoid triggering anyone who might be reading it.

Personnally, i avoid anything related to sex and death, i’m not comfortable with those.

The most nearly-impossible part was to find any RP partners that will respect that, without throwing either out of nowhere.
