Necro Old Threads

Hey there!

I know there's a rule against necro'ing old threads. I'd like to return to a roleplay thread that I had with a partner when I had my old account, the roleplay hasn't been replied to in a few years. We have both agreed to move forward with the roleplay - is it acceptable to simply reply to the old thread, or would I need to make a new thread and simply link the previous thread in that reply?

I wasn't sure if the necro rule mainly applied to general discussion, etc.

necro rules are mainly for things like in Intro's and Q&A, resurrecting an old RP thread is gucci.
