I want to get off now, I like pain and burning light and wanting things from people who don't want to give them to me.

Plots
(Feel free to pitch your own ideas as well)
Control of the City
A city-state is a complex beast. From its daily functions to its
military, to its foreign relations, the moving parts are endless.
When a power vacuum occurs, the plans of a young and ambitious
citizen are set into place to wrest control of the city. Little
does he know that he's on a collision course; and only the victor
takes the spoils.
(This plot requires someone willing to both top and bottom throughout,
as well as someone interested in competitive dynamics. My best
reference for this type of roleplay would be the
Sherlock/Moriarty scenes from the Robert Downey Jr. films, where they
finally meet and spar intellects until a victor emerges. Imagine that
over every little facet of the city, in a series of encounters. Their
sexual life mimics their personal gain.)
Dying Light
When he had started, he had all sorts of ideals and desires that best befit a detective.
And yet, time did its thing, and corruption ate away at the fiber of his being. He never
truly allowed it to fully corrupt him, but he certainly took a blind eye to things he
never would have allowed to slip through before. He knew the bottom of a bottle better
than he knew his own notepad. When he was told to look away, at most he grumbled. What
had once been a blazing inferno within him was now a dying light, the embers of his
ideals only burning faintly in the night. When he uncovers a coverup of the highest
order, every learned habit of his tells him to look the other way.
(I envision this best working as playing opposite a rookie detective or at the least a
detective that has transferred over to the station. In my mind, this works best as a
dark romance. As with all my plots, there's plenty of room to twist the plot to fit our
wants.)
A Dangerous Journey
Perhaps they were rival magic users who were captured by angry villagers. Perhaps they
were an assassin and a ruler whose reign ended in the middle of the attempt. Or
perhaps they've just found themselves in a dangerous land together despite their cross
purposes. Either way, they're now uncomfortable companions on a dangerous road together.
In all likelihood, one of them won't survive when a destination is reached, or at least
their existence will be changed permanently.
(This can go in a lot of multiple directions. It can be two rivals stuck together who
constantly jockey for position over each other to gain control of the other when all
is said and done. It could also wind down the path of a dark romance. Like with all
my listed plots, this is a starting point to be molded into whatever best fits us.)
