It was quite. That was the first thing he noticed as Ein slunk through the dark cells, searching for the only one said to be inhabited. Finally, a door appeared in the low glow of his torch, his two toned eyes, one green and the other blue, appearing in reflection. The guards were up above, knocking them out had been no easy task, and now, he needed to be gone before they woke and found him down here.

Taking the key from his grey tunic, he let out a small sigh, gathering himself before sliding it into the metal slot.. And turning it. Running a hand through his dark brown hair, he took one final breathe, collected his nerves, and pushed open the door, wondering if the light would startle the girl inside, knowing the rumor said she had been without light in all her years here.

Amelia looked up at the man as he walked into her cage. She blinked and looked at him shocked. This was the first time she had ever seen a human. She blinked at looked at him with her bright innocent blue eyes. She looked completely shocked to see a human much less a man. She backed away from him slightly afraid of the other person. She had only seen the guards before and now there was this new man.

She opened her mouth but no sounds came out she couldn’t remember how to talk. She couldn’t remember how to do anything. She hadn’t seen another human since she was able to walk. She bit her lip and whimpered softly before she looked at him a moment. Amelia let out a small cry of surprise when her back hit the wall.
