Hello!
Any fans of Veronica Mars, Stumptown, Nancy Drew, Miss Scarlet and the Duke, My Life is Murder, or others like it? Basically, Female P.I. has to solve cases because the police aren't doing the job. (note: not looking to do any of those FANDOMs, looking for OC universe, with your OC detective in the leading role!)
Imagine those shows, except in THIS case, we'll make sure that to solve the case, it will require the detective in question to get a bit... messy. Like...
- Going undercover to a sex club, but unlike on TV shows, she has to convince everyone around that she belongs there by participating
- Being an escort... except no, she won't run out before things get going. Hey, at least she gets paid since she isn't a cop!
- Loosening the tongue of an informant might take some magic from her mouth...
That hopefully sets the stage well! What I am looking for here is a crime story with a heathy (or, unhealthy, depending on what we want) amount of smut put in.
Happy to put this in a variety of time points: modern, near-modern, even semi-historical.
The idea would be for this to be reoccurring. I would like YC not to meet an ultimate bad end. While some things along the way might get messy, she will solve the case and come out on the far side. It will be your call (since it is YC!) whether she does all this because she wants to solve crimes and puts up with it, or because it gives her tingles to get into erotic trouble. But, whatever her motivation, we'll strive to leave her ready for the next case.
I would like to work in a Moriarty-style, long-running bad person. Someone who is hoping to eventually draw YC into their clutches... maybe aiming to have YC in a Dom/sub relationship forever, and uses some of the above events to awaken her like for such things, in hopes of eventually claiming her. Whether she ends up there? Well, we can decide.
(My preference would be for this to be a F/F relationship in the end. Like the idea it is another woman teasing/leading her.)
To be clear, I would be (mostly) GM-ing this world around YC. More than happy to discuss things, or have you introduce things as you want, but I'd be committing to doing multiple characters and make the world come alive around her.
Not looking to make the mysteries stunningly hard -> not sure I could come up with such things, and the fun is in the RP, not in tortuously complex mysteries that stall everything. But we can dial the difficulty up or down, depending on what we agree.
