Thoughts on OOC Memes

I've had a few partners in the past make memes/playlists for our characters, and honestly I've really loved that. I feel like treating the rp almost like a fandom of its own really keeps things fresh and alive for me, but I'm always somewhat worried that not many people are interested in that. What do you think? Either way is totally cool, I just want to see if there are other writers like me or if I'm just weird, haha!

I mean, what are memes but visual jokes with a format? I remember making a couple for some Pathfinder campaign groups I played with before, and most everyone seemed to enjoy them. I don't see why anyone would have an issue with them being made of your own plots.

In the end I would say it really depend on who you play with and what their sense of humour is. Also depends on what types of memes you tend to use, obviously some are more referential than others.
