I'm thinking of a D&Dish game where characters/monsters from the fantasy world cross over to our world. There can be some powerful undead and characters that came over along with some magic, but the real world is filled with technology and surveillance. So even with magic and monsters, how would these otherworld creatures adapt?
Just trying this out to explore the story of perhaps a few fantasy characters crossing a gate and dropping into Manhattan and some monsters starting a massacre and the police/army quickly comes and clean house. The powerful characters can probably decide on what to do and how to survive and whether they would be so stressed that they go in a standard murder hobo way of solving problems.
Any interest? Perhaps the modern world humans may want to try to cross the gate too to plunder resources.
