Bit of a screw-up in the Private Message system.

To keep it simple:

I've received a few messages that say "Deleted by the sender", and are thus unopenable. However, the person who sent them claims to have not deleted them at all.

Furthermore, I cannot delete them, because it says that I'm not "authorised" to delete them.

Who sent you the messages?

You need to delete them using the dropdown box.
