Nyoko leaned back against the wall of her cage, after being forced in it. Her hands were bound in front of her. Her cat ears twitched, showing her irritation as she sat there watching other people passing by. She was a rare breed of neko, so everyone eyed her curiously.

She just ignored everyone who looked at her, she wasn't mad, just annoyed at being locked up. She liked being able to move around and play. She hoped at least someone would let her out soon. She played with her tail absentmindedly and waited for anything to happen that would break this boredom.

Sith walked down the road that was overly crowded with people. Mostly dirty old men just there for the show of the poor girls being sold. He hated the site of it. He tried to avert his eyes from the girls, some of them didn't even seem to mind being there, they actually looked like the liked it.

He walked faster in hopes of just getting by it faster. He didn't think he had a soft heart, but he hated the way most human beings were specially when it came to the opposite sex. He bumped into somebody, falling over before looking up to see, but the person was gone and he ended up looking up at a girl. Not just any girl, but a cute neko girl and she looked so innocent up there in that cage.

Nyoko watched the man fall to the ground and she couldn't help but laughed a little. He obviously looked like he didn't belong here, he looked like he felt out of place. Not many people could handle seeing the cruelties of slavery. She hadn't enjoyed it at first, and didn't much like the slave market atmosphere, but she had to get used to her slavery early on.

She had a positive look on her life, and always hoped she would land a nice owner. She would be a loyal pet, and thought she saw the perfect owner as she stared into the eyes of the man who had fallen down.

Sith got up slowly, he couldn't look away from her. She was so innocent looking, he couldn't get over that fact. And the way she looked when he first saw her, playing with her tail.

He looked around for the owner of the girl. He couldn't go home and live with the thought of that girl going to some filthy man that would do anything and probably everything possible to her. He groaned, why did he have to care so much, was that something you should feel bad for? He didn't think so at times, but then others like these.

He had the money. He was a pretty wealthy person. On of the wealthiest in the town. So why not buy her? It wouldn't cause no harm to him financially and he could take care of her. The only problem was not being alone and him not being very much of a peoples person and the fact that people that think of him highly might look down on him for buying a slave girl. But then again if those people really knew him they would understand they way he felt.

Nyoko watched the man curiously, he seemed to be very interested in her. She was enjoying the attention and played with her tail again, something she did when she was nervous or excited. In all truth she was both, and wondered if this owner might speak to her. He would be a much better master then most people who came in here. He didn't look cruel or even all that mean.

"Hi." She mewed.

"Hi" Sith replied, walking up closer to her cage. He looked her over to make sure she at least looked like she was healthy before looking back up at her face, "Who is the guy that is selling you?" He asked in hopes of talking to him.

He decided that he's buy her so that she'd maybe have a chance at having a semi-good home. He wasn't really sure how to take care of her, but he'd try.

Nyoko pointed over a man behind a desk, lounging in a chair, "Him, sir." She said, her heart fluttering. She was so close to being out of this cage and couldn't wait. She let go of her tail and moved to the front of her cage, on her knees, looking at him curiously. "Will you take me?" She smiled.

Sith stared at her for a moment, he couldn't resist how pitiful it was. He wanted to save her from what could be, "I'll see what I can do for you." He said as he moved away to the man she pointed out.
He would do all he could do, but that was it. He couldn't make her any promises.

The owner saw a man over by one of his slaves and he smiled as that man walked over. He was in need of a good purchase, and this guy seemed to fall for the neko he had. The owner stood up and shook Sith's hand, "Ah I see you want the neko, perfect! I'll give her to you for a special price." He grasped the man on the shoulder and led him over to the cage where Nyoko was looking up curiously.

The owner grabbed a leash and opened the cage, he clipped the leash on the neko and led her out. Her hands were still tied and made getting out awkward but soon she was on her feet before Sith, blushing and smiling a bit. She was just happy to be out of that cage, "Do you want her then?"

Sith nodded trying to seem sure of himself as he did so. "What is the price for her?" He asked curios. The man just might try to make him pay way to much, but still he'd leave with a guilty conciseness if he left her behind. He looked at her trying to reassure her that he would save her from anything else that could possibly go wrong with anyone else buying her.

The owner smiled, "Well as you know nekos are a rare slave, so nothing less than a 1000 for her. But even for a neko that is cheap." He wouldn't lie to the man, because that would mean bad business. "That comes with the collar and leash too."

Nyoko listened as they discussed her, her tail wagged behind her gently. She wished they would hurry so she could be rid of this place soon. She stood there patiently, even though she wasn't a very patient person. The owner still held the leash and then held it out for Sith.

Sith took it before pulling out his wallet and handing the man the money that he wanted for her. "Then that's enough." He said as he stepped back a bit from the man meaning for Nyoko to do so as well.

He smiled at her slightly as he was ready to walk away, but wondering if she had any belongings at all he asked, "Do you have anything to bring with you?"

The owner smiled and took the money greedily, "Thank you for your business sir." He said and Nyoko took a few more steps towards her new master. She smiled at him, "No, sir." She had never really had many belongings, except the clothes on her back and the collar. She just wanted to get away from her old owner and go with him.

He sighed, that meant he would need to get some of his maids to help her with getting more cloths, he knew that it wouldn't be much of a good idea for him to do it. Still, he didn't think that what she had on the very minute was much and he wanted to get her at least something.

"Would you like some new cloths?" He asked her as he looked her over frowning again. "Thank you," He said to the man before walking away from him with her by his side.

Nyoko felt ashamed as he frowned at her, she knew her clothes were barely proper, "Yes, sir." She said, "New clothes would be wonderful." She scratched at her collar nervously, her tail twitching. She wanted to make a good impression on her new master, maybe even start to like him. As they walked she followed behind him, not to far behind though, still her hands were bound, the owner hadn't removed the binds, and she of course would never ask her master too.

Sith knew she was probably uncomfortable, but he knew this way might be the safest. He didn't really want her running away just in case she thought about it and he definitely didn't want anyone snatching her up. He figured he'd let her free when they got to a decent part of town.

When they got away from the town square he turned to her and undid the ties on her wrist before taking of the color. He smiled at her hoping she'd feel at least a little more comfortable.

"Here we are." He said turning to the building, "This place has some pretty nice clothing. I have a friend who buys his daughter cloths from her... that's how I know about it."

Nyoko followed along, and smiled when he removed her bonds. She rubbed her wrists to get the feeling back in them, "Thanks, sir." She said, but felt so strange without her collar on. She had worn one since she was little, but felt embarrassed to ask for it back. She felt the empty space around her neck and looked up at him, "Okay, thanks for getting me some clothes." She said and then decided to ask for the collar back, "Um, sir, can I wear my collar? I don't mind it, its what I'm used too." She blushed as she asked this. Her eyes staring at him, and her tail limp, she was shy sometimes.

He smiled kindly at her. "It's okay." He took the leash part off of the collar and handed it to her so that she could wear it. He kind of understood how it would be strange. "And it's okay, I'll get you anything you need." He said as he walked into the store and expecting her to follow. "You can pick out a couple of outfits to wear. I'm... not really much into the shopping thing so I can always get a maid to come get you some things."

She slipped the collar back on around her neck and smiled, that felt much better. She smiled up at him and followed him into the store. There was no reason for her to run from him, he had been nothing but kind to her. "I don't need much, sir. Just maybe a few outfits." She never thought she needed much, and was never given much anyways. Her tail wagged contently behind her and she was a bit happier now that she was out of that cage. "You have maids, master?"

Sith looked over at her, "Yes, they help me around the mansion. They do get paid for it though, they are not like you probably would know of. And you don't have to call me master." He reassured her as they walked through the cloths sections of the store they were in.

Nyoko nodded, she figured the maids weren't slaves like she was. He looked to uncomfortable when he bought her to have had many slaves. She was surprised she didn't have to call him master, even though it might slip out sometimes, "Okay, sir." She said and looked around at the clothing.

"Thank you." Sith said happy she didn't do it again. He knew it was a habit and some habits were just really hard to break. He stopped and let her lead them around since he didn't know what she'd wear, "I don't really mind buying you anything though. It's not like I'm poor."

As they walked along she stayed next to him or behind him, not wanting to lead. She pointed out a few outfits she wanted but that was it. She didn't want much, just some nice clothes to wear, "Thats all I think, sir." She smiled at him, thankful soon she would be out of these clothes.

"Okay," He smiled at her and took the cloths up to the counter to pay for them.
After he payed for the cloths he walked out, "Now let's get home. The maids will be delighted to have a girl to take care of now." He laughed.

"It's not that far, just right outside the town. It's in walking distance." He said as he started off in the direction he wanted to go.

Nyoko smiled as they left the store and she carried some of her new clothes, "Well wont you be taking care of me, sir?" She walked along behind him, her tail up and swishing back and forth. She hadn't been this content in a long while. She kept following him as they started home, and noticed people staring at her, because nekos were so rare. One of the reasons she liked wearing her collar, those preying eyes would know who she belonged too.
