"THREE POINTS!"

Matt rose a triumphant fist in the air with a loud yell that was soon accompanied by the rest of the team as the ball dropped through the basket and bounced along the floor while the opposing team were getting into position for the final round. It wouldn't do them any good, though. There was not anywhere near enough time left for any of them to do anything about the score. They were massively outmatched - thanks to Matt, for the most part, a fact that surprised no one. He was always the one who managed to take home the gold whenever there was a game of practically anything.

In a sense, he was the classic jock. The entire stereotype just seemed to fit him like a glove. Not only was he sporty and managed to do well at practically any class that had some measure of physical skill attached to it, he was also the good old-fashioned hunk. It was all there. Well-trained body that had never been doing much but work out and participate in the various sports activities of every school he had went to, and short, well-kept blonde hair that seemed to fit him perfectly. Oh, and of course, he was a total asshole. As far as he was concerned, he was one of the best things to happen to school life, and particularly to the girls that all seemed to flock around him like bees around honey. Barely a week passed without him having his way with at least one of them.

And he absolutely loved showing it off. There was, to him, nothing better than teaching the weaker kids who was boss around the place. Or the teachers, for that matter. He pretty much had it all covered when it came to them. He was an expert at making up the most insane excuses for not doing his work and still managing to get away with it, simply because of his sport skills. As he put it, "he could at least do something the school could be proud of".

The game ended. They had won, and everything was just as great as always as he went out to get changed and left the gym hall, still cheering with his teammates as they walked down the halls on their way home.
