The group starts off at The Twin River house.

• Eve Returns from the forest having witnessed a strange mist in the forest.​
• The group of witches tend to her wounds and Sam returns back with the others.​
• New character Mikoto arrives from japan seeking help from House mother Karma as her powers are out of control.​
• The realization that the housemother Briar has gone missing without a trace. Seneca and Talia feel drained.​
• The Orb has swallowed up a hunter in the woods after taking the shape of an old Havenly folk story about a silver buck that is supposed to be rare.​
• The orb has taken the form of a Siren in the river and lured a camper into its clutches.​
• The group decides to form a plan to draw the creature out from the orb. Sam, Elias, Berry and luce take to the forest. While Seneca and Jazz take to the town to get ingredients for Talia's migraine.​

The group decides to take to the forest to figure out what the mist is. The same instructs Eve to stay back-- Eve follows regardless. Resulting in upsetting the mist with her return.

Story Inclusion #1

Deep in the forest, something stirs. A strange mist appears out of nowhere, and as it stretches out its spindly and enchanted tendrils toward the century-old trees, it brings them to ash, but in its wake, new blooms start to emerge. It's a strange and beautiful creature, but how did it get here, and what does it want? Parallel to the mist arriving, one of the House Mothers( A Guardian of Earth) goes missing in the night. This leaves a spot vacant in the home and a portion of the defenses down; where did this witch disappear to? A team of wolves/ witches will need to investigate and research the mist while others search for clues as to what happened to the 4th House Mother.

The Twin River house is a massive treehouse structured with several box-like rooms connected by covered stairwells that wrap the trunks in glass. Each box is a small apartment for the witch or werewolf. This spans deep into the forest, where no one goes. Large windows allow substantial light to filter through. A large deck is on the 3rd floor of this housing structure for relaxing and conversation. There are small kitchenettes in each apartment-like design, but the central kitchen is on the same floor as the large deck. A massive library and common sitting area are also in the same room as the kitchen. This house overlooks The Twin River, and the structure can be seen from the tops of the trees.

• Witches in this world are standard. They are not hocus-pocus-inspired creatures or creatures who shoot lightning from their fingertips.
• Witches use covens to call the corners and create more potent spells.
• Witches utilize herbs and spices in their food and home for various reasons.
• Witches utilize spellbooks/ recipe books to ensure their tinctures are accurate.
• Witches stray from the public to live peacefully in their homes/ coven.
• Dark clothing is preferred to conceal themselves from the public
• Witches use familiars to help alert them to issues they may not sense/ this is seen as an omen to those living in towns.
• Not all witches are evil or use black magic. Some witches are neutral/ light witches.
• Witches were hunted without proper evidence. These could have been simply cracking an egg in a glass or any form of hysteria.
• A cauldron was used to create spells over an open flame inside and outside due to necessity and the time period.

Differences:

• These witches do not wear pointy hats or fly on brooms.
• Witches in this story utilize their spellbooks to craft spells over gas stoves with cast iron pots.
• Modern transportation is used to get around in the town.
• These witches do not have green skin or stringy hag-like hair.
• Witches can transform those who are loyal to them into werewolves.
• Rituals take place outside in the forest at the top of the crescent mountains; this is a 1-2 day walk.
• Crystals are used with spells to amplify magic.

• Turn on the full moon
• They are half-human hybrids that later morphed into full wolf-looking creatures.
• They lose all human instructs while hunting.
• If a werewolf scratches a human, they can also become a werewolf.
• Some cultures believed that children who misbehaved would be turned into werewolves by witches.
• Legends say that werewolves can be killed by silver bullets, garlic, or decapitation.
• There are 2 types of wolves, cursed and then hereditary.
• Werewolves are powerful and fast.

Differences

• The wolves in this story are turned by witches if they are loyal to their kind.
• They can be killed by silver( in any form), garlic, and decapitation.
• Wolves that transform are human/ wolf-like hybrids often towering well over 6-7 feet.
• Werewolves retain their loyalty and memories both in human and wolf form.
• Werewolves can transform at any time.
• The transformation for a human to a wolf is excruciating but gets easier over time.
• Werewolves can live as long or longer as a witch.

What is Alchemy: Alchemy was a form of speculative thought that, among other aims, tried to transform base metals such as lead or copper into silver or gold. It also sought to discover cures for diseases and a way of extending life. Alchemy was the name given in Latin Europe in the 12th century to an aspect of thought that corresponds to astrology. Both represent attempts to discover the relationship of man to the cosmos and to exploit that relationship to his benefit. The first of these objectives may be called scientific, the second technological. Astrology is concerned with man's relationship to "the stars" (including the members of the solar system); alchemy, with terrestrial nature.. What metals are used in alchemy: Gold, silver, copper, lead, iron, and tin are the metals of alchemy. Mercury and sulfur were also crucial to alchemy. Source: alchemy - Arabic alchemy

What is Herbalism: the study or practice of the medicinal and therapeutic use of plants, now especially as a form of alternative medicine. What materials can be used in Herbalism: Echinacea, Ginseng, Ginkgo Biloba, Elderberry, St.John's wort, Turmeric, Ginger, Valerian, Chamomile ( this is not a full list of herbs, most herbs can be used with this pillar.)

What is Clairvoyance:The supposed faculty of perceiving things or events in the future or beyond normal sensory contact: What objects can be used with Clairvoyance: Skying glass, Crystal balls, Mirrors, Any body of water. Any reflective surface

What is Illusion: The art of illusion is simple, to conceal an object and transform or hide it from view. This can bleed into Alteration. However, the illusion will provide a cleaner finish to a hidden object. Illusion may also involve concealing one's self and changing appearance to better wade through turbulent situations or trick onlookers. What object is needed for Illusion: If the intent is to seduce, beautiful items such as pearls and roses can be used in a small bowl of water. Candles or varying colors may be used to signify the intent or to lure that candle's properties. If the goal is to harm or conceal, a sliver of that item can be burned in a fire or ground and sprinkled around the area meant to be concealed or harmed.

What is Enchantment: Taking an object and providing it with magical abilities where there may not have been any prior. Enchanted items can be used in a variety of situations and can provide protection or skill increases to the user. What objects are needed to enchant: Herbs, charcoal, ash, infused oils.

What is destruction magic: Destruction magic is used to destroy an object or being. This can be used for both good and bad purposes. The consequences of utilizing destruction magic are significant; This magic demands sacrificing due to its complex nature; however, the output( in the hands of an experienced practicer) is always successful. What is used in destruction magic This magic demands the user to sacrifice. This can be anything of value to that practitioner.

What is Conjuration: Conjuration is the calling of spirits, deities, or energies. Practitioners who conjure invite this entity into themselves or their space to gain power or knowledge of the world or situations around them. They are aware of the implications and effects this may have on others around them and take safeguard measures to ensure that this is not released unknowingly unto anyone else. *What objects are needed for conjuring** Drawing a circle on the ground with chalk, salt, and stones is enough to start the process. Offering up more minor trinkets, sacrifices, or candles in the 4 corners will call the entity. Meditation and spellwork can call entities forth. In some cases, a Skrying mirror may be used.

What is Alteration: An alteration is a form of taking one object and turning it into another to benefit a situation or person(s) This may assist the user in trying to trick or present a solution where there may not have been one. Alteration Can be challenging to learn as the mind must be clear enough that when turning the object into another, this secondary object is in full vivid view in one's mind. What materials are used in Alteration: Any material can be used with this magic. The minds the limit.
