NAME: Seneca Hall AGE: 22 SKILL SET:Seneca is skilled in drying herbs and crystal work. She Enjoys it both as a hobby and to help the others in the house to ensure successful spell work. Familiar:
Pinecone found Seneca in the Forest while she was foraging. They were immediately bonded and have spent the last 2 years adventuring together.
SMALL BACKGROUND: When Seneca was born, she was marked with the "witches' gift" In history, this state that any woman with a mole was said to be a witch. Having been born into a highly religious family, she was immediately taken in by a host family. Having lived her life fairly well until the age of 15, she had just started to grasp her ability to pick up knowledge quickly. On a camping trip organized by her caretakers at her home, she strayed from the group and ventured with a few others like her to the Twin River to fill their canteens. There, across the river, they saw the werewolves who were guarding the perimeter of The Twin River home. While the others ran from the area in fear, Seneca stayed while they walked away from the perimeter she followed, wading through the rushing waters and nearly being swept away. Without hesitation, she was saved by the wolves in the forest and brought to the house mother, who nursed her back to health as she had come down with hypothermia from the cold winter waters. At the home, she was greeted warmly by the other dwellers and then, because of her young age, sent home and promised a spot in the Twin River home when she came of age.
When Seneca turned 16, she ran away from home and joined the house as she had come of age and was ready to start her inevitably long training.
Foraging, she met Pinecone, who sought her out in the forest. Immediately they were bonded, and she took him in and cared for him. He watches over her, relentlessly and will attempt to fight anyone who brings the slightest upset from his human.

PERSONALITY UNDER PRESSURE: Seneca possesses an independence that enables significant progress both in her personal and professional life. She is proficient at self-control and can lead the way while making solid and realistic plans. She always learns from their mistakes and gets to the top based solely on their experience and expertise.
PERSONALITY IN CALM SITUATIONS: Seneca can lack compassion and emotion when in calm situations, but this does not mean she isn't enjoying her time with others; she is simply observing and ensuring she understands the conversation. While she does not outwardly show compassion, she is always there for anyone if they need an ear or advice.

If Seneca feels trapped by her romantic partner, she may distance herself significantly.
It is very difficult for Seneca to show her more expressive emotions. She may appear bewildered or lost, and she will not cry in front of others. She would rather excuse herself from the situation and grief privately.
ABILITIES:Everlee's skills lie in her ability to track great distances; she is also an above-average runner due to her track and field background-Which was the only class she excelled at in high school.
SMALL BACKGROUND:Everlee grew up with both her mother and father in the town of Havenly. Though they didn't always live here, hailing from Colorado, a long way from Havenly, Everlee's father was offered a better position at a rising tech firm. So the small family moved from their comfortable lives to the rustic town of Havenly. Everlee had no issues creating new friends and nurturing the ones she had lost back in Colorado. While she didn't excel in school, she did in social skills, and at the age of 16, she dropped out of high school and picked up a job at a small hardware store. She saw it more beneficial to work and make money than to fall asleep in class because she couldn't grasp the curriculum. This angered her parents, and due to her own stubbornness, she was forced to seek accommodations elsewhere.
Fortunately for Everlee, one of the girls from her school maintained residence at the Twin River house, and Everlee saw this as an opportunity to follow. While she wasn't too thrilled about having to pledge her loyalty to yet another authority figure, she did so due to her love for her friendship.
Everlee was instantly turned into a werewolf, and her transition was excruciating. For weeks she felt as if she had the flu. Training seemed to take every ounce of strength. But over time, her body became stronger and her senses sharper until the change didn't affect her.
Several years into her stay at the house, the pack ventured out to check the parameter, and they were ambushed by hunters. Everlee and 3 others could get away, but her friend did not make it before she was killed. Still, due to her arrangement, Everlee stayed at the house and kept to herself. But due to her social nature, she could stay away from the rest of the house for very long and slowly started to come back out of her shell.
POSITION IN HOUSE: Werewolf; Works at a local Hardware store.
PERSONALITY UNDER PRESSURE:Everlee can be flaky and restless. She will always throw herself in the way of fire for those she cares for but then has difficulties trying to contain that adrenaline. Everlee does not handle criticism well. Because she prides herself on her creative ways of getting out of situations, critique can make her upset.
PERSONALITY IN CALM SITUATIONS: Sociable, Always willing to help, curious. Kind-hearted. Everlee is a creative individual and enjoys pulling in others to create and explore new experiences with her.
FAMILIAR: Ashur the Turtle. Yes, she's a turtle. Don't be fooled. It's some sort of sloth demon, quite capable when motivated, utterly useless when not (which is often). Good in water.
SMALL BACKGROUND: Tiberius comes of a long line of witches and warlocks. His mother and father were not married, though both lived within the same county and he was rotated back and forth between the households, his true birthright nurtured in him by his well-disguised parents who upheld the occult. Despite not having a proper family unit, his parents while never married were always amicable and cooperative when it came to his future, and his birthright was deeply instilled in him by both households when he shifted to and from with the seasons.
Upon graduation, Tiberius was taken to the woods outside the Twin Rivers coven and proverbially left for the wolves, who eventually found him and caroled him to the house, where his life and education were to continue. Though stifling under such a life changing decision rudely made without his consent by his parental figures, Tiberius found the change in environment to be more open and nurturing for his true self. He has carved himself out a cozy niche, allowing him to pursue his desires and ambitions with a measure of cloak and security. He has been a member of the coven for five years now, no longer a rookie, but certainly no veteran either.

PERSONALITY UNDER PRESSURE: For a person as formulaic as Tiberius, it is ridiculous to think that life which by it's very nature is chaotic and boundless can have a set equation or solution to balancing it out. Tiberius is stubborn in refusing this wisdom, believing there must always be some formula, fix, or answer, and will become relentless in it's pursuit, even to the detriment of other things. This can make him a hopeless optimist and occasionally…careless.
PERSONALITY IN CALM SITUATIONS: The Twin Rivers coven has been a chance for stability and structure that Tiberius never really got to enjoy growing up. While he didn't have a youth rife with serious tribulations and upheavals, the desire to settle in and actually smell the roses instead of just witnessing their passing growth has instilled in him a desire for belonging. That is, a place to truly call his own and cultivate it as he sees fit. His own little kingdom. Most importantly, he is able to just sit back and kick his feet up, enjoying said kingdom without worrying about what has to come next, or be done.

Spell-book. His personal spell-book is a black hardcover, similarly sized to an atlas, bound with a silver string, with an inverted tree on the cover. No peeking, or else. Not that you'll see anything, unless you know his code (which is using moon-script, which means the book can properly be read under moonlight only).
Grey witch. Tiberius has no concerns about utilizing white or black magic to achieve his aims. It is only a matter of scale and consequence…
Multi-lingual. Knowledgeable in some demonic dialects, ancient tongues like Assyrian, Aramaic, Hebrew, Babylonian.
Brewer. Alchemy is the art of mixing ingredients to craft potions. Also dabbles in beer and wine making.
Botanist. Makes the latter skill easier if some herbs and plants can be grown on site. The rest can be outsourced.
History nut. He pours over ancient texts regarding the pre-biblical era, thinking there might be old spells or rituals that can be rediscovered, as society tended to be more tolerant of witchcraft in those times.
Researcher. When something unnatural happens around Twin Rivers, best to take heed and look into matters diligently and cautiously.
ABILITIES: Samuel has enhanced sight. While most may have muted sight or can see in blues and yellows, he can see in full color. He can also see greater distances, and his eye tracking is sharp.
SMALL BACKGROUND: Not much is known about Samuel's childhood, and he refuses to talk about it. Some speculate that it was perfectly normal and that the marring of his adulthood ended up trumping the kindness of his family.
As a teen, Sam was wreckless. Having grown up in Havenly, he knew the backroads like the back of his own hand. He could close his eyes and drive those streets, and there wasn't a bolder he didn't know, which made racing fast and loud sports and muscle cars all the more enjoyable. Sam, and a few of his friends, would take old junk vehicles and fix them up with the parts they had lying around. He would rarely be home, and when he was, it was to eat briefly and then head back to school or the junkyard.
As the years wore on, the races grew more intense. New people filtered into town, harder people, people with vendettas that didn't or shouldn't exist. Sam fell back into the wrong crowds, and on one Winters's night, when the roads were just starting to ice over, he hit a patch of ice and sailed into the woods. Hitting the retaining wall of The Twin River house and almost sinking into the river, he met the house mother in all her beauty and fury.
Sam, in most cases, wasn't expected to live. But due to the house mother's extraordinary powers, she offered him a choice of a second life. Samual took it, and so began his transformation into a werewolf. He struggled. At first, his new abilities were intense, and the change was unwelcome, but over time, he slowly started to get the hang of it.
Now, he offers himself as a mentor to new wolves looking for guidance in the transformation and life.

While Samuel has a bed, he prefers to sleep on harder surfaces. This could be due to his difficult two years changing into a wolf. During that time, he slept anywhere that could be comfortable, and those locations weren't always the most convenient.
Sam's least favorite season is Winter. He may appear anxious, more protective, or withdrawn. In autumn, he may appear more irritable as the season come to a close.

NAME: Mikoto Kiruma

SKILLSET: Dreams Medium: While sleeping she is vulnerable to ghosts who want to take over her body. The ghosts have limited movement of her body unless she is in a deep sleep and trance, on that case the ghost have free reign with her body, she would need to be woken up for the link to break. Ghosts also can communicate with her via her while she sleeps. Dreams Foretelling: When she is not possessed, her dreams might give her a glimpse on the future of someone who she knows. The deeper the connection the deeper and the more clear the dream is.

SMALL BACKGROUND: Born in Okinawa Japan, Mikoto always had vivid dreams and often had nightmares. No matter what her parents did they didn't seem to make it better. She grew up with that curse (at least she thought at first) that she began taking pills to stay awake and not go to sleep. It all was explained soon, her dreams were visions of the future of people close to her. Knowing what was happening she grew to accept it and even began helping those she could not to go through a dark fate. Her abilities began to get stronger the more she accepted her gift. One day, while in a slumber party she went to sleep and woke up standing up with a knife on her hand and her friends freaked out, she dropped the knife and ran away from her parents and her hometown. It was then when a woman claiming to be her real mother appeared in front of her while on a dream, she revealed everything including the fact that Miko was a witch since she was as well.
Her mother explained her abilities and how it was all connected to when she went to sleep, to be careful, to join people that could help her. Revealing the location of a secret treasure filled with money and a passport under her name she was told to go to the US and look for a certain group of witches. Knowing that she was fluent in English she wasted no time and took the first flight to the states and especially to the town where her mother told her.
POSITION IN HOUSE: New Witch, she wants to cooperate however she can from cooking to cleaning.
PERSONALITY UNDER PRESSURE: When she is under pressure ghosts becomes clear to her and she can actually hear them which makes her even worst if there are a lot of ghosts around. She tries to not get to that point however she walks away and puts on her headset and starts hearing music.
PERSONALITY IN CALM SITUATIONS: She is kind and a bit silly with people she trusts. She isn't afraid to have some fun or try anything once. She is often singing or trying her best to be of some help. She tries her best not to go to sleep, when everybody is asleep she is often watching tv or outside singing to herself, or reading some book.

SMALL BACKGROUND:
Jasmine comes from a long line of empaths, so it wasn't a surprise when she turned out to be one as well. Growing up, this ability of hers felt more like a curse. Going into emotionally charged areas was exhausting - whether they were negative or positive. An attempt at public school was made, but turned out to be a huge mistake very quickly as she was overwhelmed and became a wreck each day as emotions bombarded her. Before long, Jasmine was instead homeschooled where learning how to better control her gift was incorporated. Though her mother was also an empath, she never strayed much into the ways of the occult. Jasmine's grandmother, however, had secretly been a witch for most of her life. As it became clear to Jasmine's mother than her daughter's empathic abilities were stronger than her own, she sought guidance from the grandmother. Most summers, Jasmine lived with her grandmother in the small town of Havenly and was slowly introduced to crystal energies, which helped her induce tranquility and peace within herself amongst the barrage of emotions everywhere else she went. Herbalism in the force of incense and tea also helped bring stability to herself.
Crystals and gems became Jasmine's beacons, giving her something solid to focus on and help alleviate her powers as am empath to better control them coming in. With the aid of her grandmother, Jasmine became a changed girl. She was no longer constantly exhausted or an emotionally charged demon. Instead, she was finally able to develop her own personality, as well as separating her emotions from the influence of other emotions. This allowed her to explore her gift, realizing that seeing colors swirling around people wasn't normal, but in fact her being able to perceive someone's aura/spirit as well as their emotions and personalities from the hues of the colors. Jasmine took a huge interest in using her ability to try and help others, but was warned by her mother from doing so due to the threat of hunters. Despite that risk, she still used her abilities to try and help those in turmoil, even going to volunteer at places that brought her into contact with people needing help.
However, this would soon backfire after Jasmine graduated from high school. One of the days she was volunteering, a shooting occurred. Never had Jasmine felt such an influx of pain, fear, agony, rage, desperation, and, disturbingly, bloodlust. She felt the emotions of the victims as well as the killer. In the moment, she became so overwhelmed that she collapsed to the ground sobbing uncontrollably
and began to try and harm herself
. Inconsolable, paramedics that arrived on the scene had her sent to a psych ward where she stayed for multiple days in a deep, deep depression - haunted by the vivid emotions and disturbed by the killer's. Scared hunters would catch on to her being an empath from this event, Jasmine's grandmother pushed for her to be sent back to her in Havenly where she could join a Coven.
Jasmine joining the coven was rather rushed. She came rather broken and nearly mute, but seemed to make a rather quick recover in the nature with which the coven lives around. She has since been with them for six years.

PERSONALITY UNDER PRESSURE: Even when pressure is crashing down on Jasmine, she tends to be able to keep a cool head about her and try to remain calm. She is serious in these situations and rational, but not rational at the expense of others. She tends to be quiet and assess things quietly before attempting to come up with solutions. She tends to place the protection of others before herself and tries to solve the problem the best she can. However, it should be noted that if a situation is extreme with very high emotions, Jazz can become unstable as those emotions start to barrage her mind. If this is particularly strong, it can even cause her mind to succumb to those influences and make her personality and emotions erratic.
PERSONALITY IN CALM SITUATIONS: Jasmine is a very down-to-earth and calm person. This can at times make her seem airheaded despite her intelligence. She is attentive and empathetic, happy to listen and insightful enough to try to help and give advice when it is wanted. Though more introverted, she is really quite sociable and bubbly to be around - just tends to be more soft-spoken and at peace in silence. She is very trusting and warm, showing strong compassion for others largely in part to being an empath - making her rather emotional as she also feels the brunt of negative emotions as well. Jasmine has gotten good at handling emotions, but at times can seem to "disappear" in her room for days if exposed to an extreme influx of negative emotions (called her depressive phases).

ABILITIES: Elias has extremely sharp hearing, able to hear miniscule sounds and even pinpoint them around the typical noises in the forest.
SMALL BACKGROUND:
Elias didn't have much growing up. His family was poor, and making ends meet was a constant struggle, let alone ensuring food was on the table and adequate clothing on their backs. However, this didn't take away the love within his family. Despite his circumstances, Elias had a loving upbringing. The neighborhood he grew up in had been dangerous, but thankfully his family was among the lucky ones to not get targeted by violence or much theft. The moment he could work, he did. Using some of the income he got as a teenager, he would aid in helping pay for food or some new clothing for himself and his younger sister, Lucy. He dedicated himself to his studies and work - hoping to get a full ride in college for engineering as he had a knack for math and working with his hands. He had the full support of his family, and was able to achieve his dream - being the first one in his family to head to college.
College was a whole new experience for Elias and one that was welcome. In a way, it was a bit of a culture shock, and the freedoms with it was nice. He was about an hour away from his family, but still kept in close contact with them as best as he could. The four years in college went extremely well, and he met a woman named Amelia that he began a serious relationships with. Things were going extremely well. He moved back to the town his family was in with Amelia, and they got an apartment together. He was able to land a good engineering job. However, just as things were going up, they began to collapse. Lucy became hooked on drugs the moment she graduated high school. She could barely hold down a job, and was constantly strung out. She began to steal what little money his parents had until they felt that they had little choice but to throw her out. Then, she came to Elias and Amelia. Elias was desperate to try and help Lucy, offering her a place at the apartment if she promised to go to rehab. She agreed, but little seemed to change.
Fights about his sister began to spark up between Amelia and Elias until Amelia finally called it quits and left him. Not long after that, Elias came upon the discovery that Lucy hadn't actually been going to any sort of rehab program at all, but had been leaving the apartment to get high then coming back to crash at his apartment. Feeling unsure of what he could do at this point, Elias decided something drastic. He moved to a small town called Havenly and dragged along his younger sister. He was able to get a less demanding job as a mechanic in the small town, and began to keep an eye on Lucy - essentially forcing her to stop taking drugs. His sister began to go through withdrawal, and with it an extreme depressive episode. Elias was worried for her, but was hoping this would be her turning point into cleaning up her act and getting away from drug addiction. One particular day, she seemed to have perked up and was happy, and spoke about going to get art lessons. Excited for this change in her behavior, Elias gave her the small fee she mentioned was needed for this class and hoped that showing that he trusted her would be good in her recovery as well.
When Elias returned from work, he found Lucy dead from an overdose in the forested backyard of his small house.
The days were a hazy blur for Elias after he found her and planned her funeral back at the city they grew up in. He felt that her death was his fault, and that he had failed her. Since he owned the house in Havenly, Elias returned there all alone and began to drink heavily to cope with his grief and guilt. One particular drunken night, Elias stumbled into the forest and went deeper than locals tended to go, where he then staggered into the river and hit his head on a large rock - falling unconscious. Instead of dying, Elias woke up among the Twin River Coven's witches and werewolves - the werewolves having found him while on patrol and saved his life. Thankful to them for saving his life, Elias pledged his loyalty to them and became a werewolf. The transformation was excruciating and extremely unpleasant, but as he got used to it, he found a new calling and purpose. He has been a werewolf with the coven for four years.

PERSONALITY UNDER PRESSURE: Elias is driven and focused when under pressure. He gets into a problem-solving mode and becomes extremely serious and direct. He can be a little snappy while hyper focused like this, but tends to have a clear mind to think rationally. He also tends to be naturally protective as well and very observant to react quickly if needed.
PERSONALITY IN CALM SITUATIONS: Elias is a kind and hardworking individual. He is sociable and enjoys joking around and getting to know others. He comes off as a "big brotherly" kind of person. He is a really loyal friend and isn't afraid to stand up for others or for what he thinks is right.

Lucinda never knew her birth parents. She was merely abandoned at a convent, which she has come to believe was because of her witch origins. Due to her abandonment and no other forms, she was taken in and raised within the church's orphanage. It wasn't a warm or loving upbringing. Most of her childhood memories consisted of being scolded, punished, doing chores, and praying consistently. The rules were so restrictive that there was little freedom for self-expression. Eventually, Lucinda was set off to her first foster home. Initially, she was very excited to go to a foster home and hopeful that she'd actually get to have fun. Maybe even find a new family! These hopes were quickly dashed. Her first foster home was like living within a military base. She was treated poorly and as if she was some kind of servant rather than a child. To her surprise, she found the convent was a better experience than the foster home.
This pattern didn't end. Luce jumped from foster home to foster home. Each one seemed to get worse, eventually getting to the point of physical abuse. Once she hit her teenage years, Luce began to run away from these homes. She became known as a runaway and a troubled foster kid. The police got to know her rather well when they found her hanging around the streets to avoid going back to whatever home she had been placed in. She was rebellious and jaded about the world, and she continued to be until she finally turned 18 and got to stop hopping from one abusive house to the next. She barely graduated high school due to not turning in her work and skipping classes despite that she aced most of her exams. Hanging out in the wrong crowds, Luce came into contact with Devin Hart who was eight years older than her. Charmed by his displays of love and affection, she was very easily taken in by him.
Her relationship with Devin started out okay for the first few months. Then his behavior started to change. First, the abuse started financially. He started saying that he would pay for everything, and convinced her to give him her money. He gave her "allowances" and began to spend all their money on booze and cigarettes. Next, the abuse began to take a mental tole as he verbally berated her when she confronted him, or even tried to do something other than work her menial job and come home. They began to get into shouting fights, which soon escalated into physical abuse. He'd always apologize profusely and get her flowers after, but in the end the fault was always on her. That she made him do it. After a year of this, Lucinda tried to leave the relationship. This attempt ended with her in the hospital when police were called to their apartment after the neighbors heard shouting, screaming and breaking objects. She came out with a black eye, split lip, broken ribs, and bruises around her body.
After Luce was released from the hospital, she was able to move out and tried to get her own place. Sadly, Devin then began to stalk her, leading to her filing a restraining order. As things still didn't seem to be getting better, Lucinda decided to simply just pack up and move. She picked a place she thought Devin would never expect to find her - the small, sleepy town of Havenly. Lucinda came to the small town with barely any belongings and no where to go. She just left on a whim - she never was one to totally plan things out. Her first course of action would be to find a job and eventually a place to live. Due to that, she tried to live in the woods with what little resources she had to get by. This was how she had her chance meeting with the Twin River Coven, and figured out that she was, in fact, a witch. She was taken in by them at the age 19 1/2. In looking into magic, Lucinda was immediately taken in by the darker arts. She poured over books of the occult, witch trials, paganism, witchcraft practices, and more. She took into an affinity with curses, and delved into other dark practices whether those of the coven approved of it or not. While she learned how to conduct such spells as well as peer into the history behind them, she has always tried to figure out the best ways to break certain curses and deal with them safely - having some good intentions even in her dark fascinations.

PERSONALITY UNDER PRESSURE: Luce is hot-headed and impulsive - acting oftentimes without thinking and in dangerous ways. She tends to let her temper get the best of her, and has little regard for the consequences until she clears her head. In more strenuous situations than dangerous, she gets frustrated quickly and tries to solve problems the quickest and easiest way possible. She can be really snarky and even mean in her retorts when under stress as well - her mouth oftentimes getting her into more trouble later than not.
PERSONALITY IN CALM SITUATIONS: Luce comes off as arrogant and sassy. She's not particularly nice upon first meeting. She has a strong belief that desires and pleasures should be indulged in and enjoyed rather than showing restraint. To many newer people, her personality can come as too strong, apathetic, and narcissistic. When people get to know her, however, they come to see that Luce has a softer side to her that cares deeply - she happens to just be jaded. She is protective of those she cares about and surprisingly tender and warm with them. Outside of that, however, she is extremely headstrong, stubborn, and independent.
APPEARANCE: Lucinda is 5'8 and has fair skin and a lean body. Her natural hair color is black, but she consistently dyes it silver while keeping the ends black. Her eyes are pale green.

SMALL BACKGROUND: A veteran witch and sorceress, Valeria had long held ambitions to eventually run and operate her own Coven. She is restless in pursuit of her goals, coming from a lineage of witches from whom she eagerly learned all she could, from the living and the dead, via divination. Restrictions were attempted upon her to try and keep her from absorbing too much knowledge lest it lead to a ruination of her life at an early age, a line which she finely walked until she reached the cusp of womanhood, from which all shackles were thrown off and she committed all her capacities to it’s pursuit. She even has gone so far as to use her own body and flesh as a canvas for incantations and other ritualistic spells.
She has continually moved from Coven to Coven, absorbing all the information she can from each individual, unique location, while building a list of references. She tirelessly moves around the continent, helping where she can, forever seeking her opportunity to find a posting on which she can truly lead and spread her own accumulated wisdom and lore of knowledge to a harvest of young witches and warlocks one day. However, her travels are not always safe and there are many perils, even for a skilled witch, and in the course of such struggles she lost her original familiar who perished in her defense. She was fortunately saved by a group of werewolves from a nearby Coven, instill in her a lifelong love and loyalty to the creatures wherever they might be.
At last, through divination and the grapevine, she has heard of the troubles endured by the Twin River Coven, of it’s missing House Mother, and with the blessing of a council of elderly matrons and warlocks, she has been sent thither to serve in that leadership position and finally obtain her dream of heading up a household. And it’s going to be done…her way.

Quinn was born and raised in Havenly. She was spunky from a young age, always standing up to bullies and defending those being bullied. Quinn mostly stayed with her father, who was devastated over the loss of his ex-wife. He became completely obsessed with work and would spend almost all his time on it. Her mother, on the other hand, had a revolving door of boyfriends. Many were abusive, and the ones who weren't tended to only last a few months. Quinn had a lot of rage in her regarding her family situation, which got her into trouble in school. After lashing out again, the school counselor met with her and reached out. Quinn opened up to her. Perhaps it was fate that her counselor understood that sense of anger within her. From there, the counselor introduced her to a friend of hers that taught taekwondo. From there, Quinn channeled all her pent up anger into martial arts, and absolutely loved it.
In high school, Quinn was the top women's martial artist in Havenly. Though taekwondo wasn't a school sport, she was well known for her skill in it, as she won plenty of tournaments outside of Havenly. Word like that spreads around in a small town. Quinn was a gifted athlete outside of just martial arts. She played volleyball, ran cross country, and played softball at the high school. She never lost her protective edge over the students who tended to be victims to those who liked to flaunt their popularity and try to appear better than others. In doing this, she ended up becoming friends with Mason Johnson, another Havenly local who was often picked on for being "weird." Quinn became really good friends with Mason, figuring out that he was thought to be weird since he claimed to be a medium who could see and contact the dead. Rather quickly in their friendship, she came to realize that the gifts he mentioned were real. She happily became his shoulder to lean on when those gifts of his ever became hard to bear. The two of them were thick as thieves throughout high school. After graduating, Mason spoke of going to a coven where there were others like him - warlocks and witches.
At first, Quinn went just to make sure he'd be okay. However, when she was given the opportunity to join as a werewolf, she jumped at the offer. She had planned on becoming a coach anyways rather than going to college. School and studying were never her forte. SMALL BACKGROUND:
Mason has seen dead people since he could remember. They'd show up and play with him, freaking out his parents. He was the kid to stay away from since the days at the playground before preschool even started. His moms have no idea where his gift came from as they adopted him, but always believed him when he told them what he saw. Mason's birth mother never wanted contact with him, and the information wasn't readily available to find her. Besides, his mothers were extremely supportive of him. What was there to worry about? Turns out, the dead around always benevolent. The darker spirits began to show up only when he was eight, whispering for him to do dangerous things by calling them fun. Mason's mothers became extremely concerned by this, eventually sending him to a therapist after he broke his arm from jumping off the top of the playset at school. The malevolent ghosts got worse the older he got, able to seek him out the stronger his abilities became. Some would linger and haunt him and his mothers, sometimes the hauntings getting so bad they would get scratched or shoved down steps. Eventually, they had to get the house they lived in periodically cleansed. The cleansings would temporarily banish the spirits, but they'd come back after a few days. Sometimes they were the same ones, and sometimes they were different. The vast majority of the spirits Mason saw were good ones - spirits that merely wanted to figure out how to pass on. Sometimes, all it took was venting to him about their deaths. Those darker spirits, however, were attracted to him like moths to a flame. It was impossible to get rid of them completely, and they fed off him as much as they could when they came around.
By the time Mason started high school, he was struggling to juggle his attempts at having a normal life and figuring out how to deal with the barrage of spirits that kept coming to him. Small outbursts he had in classes labelled him as a freak. A weirdo. On top of everything, he began to be severely bullied. He would get chased down, beat up, name-called, everything in the book. That is, until his angel in shining armor appeared in the form of Quinn Marlow. Quinn was everything Mason wasn't - popular, well-liked, outgoing, and athletic. Why she barged into the boy's restroom during a passing period at school and saved him from getting a swirlie, he will never know. But he was eternally grateful. Mason and Quinn became best friends. Really, she was Mason's first ever close friend. Other kids had always run away and gotten freaked out by him mentioning the spirits he saw. She was just intrigued and tried to fight them for fun. It was Quinn who recommended he start ignoring the spirits, even the good ones that came by. If he acted as if he didn't see them, then maybe they would stop swarming him. Mason took her advice. It was hard to do at first, since he could hear and see them as clearly as living people. Eventually, however, he learned how to ignore their presence and not react to them. As Quinn advised, the ghosts that appeared and messed with him lowered drastically. While it helped him function, it also felt like he was restricting an important part of himself. Mason wanted to learn how to use his powers.
At graduation, Mason decided to join a coven of witches and warlocks that hid out in the forest of Havenly. In telling Quinn, she was adamant about coming with him. The rest is history. Mason has been at the coven for seven years now, having joined when he was 18. Upon arrival, he was quick to find his familiar Chex, a opossum that plays dead at the arrival of the dead. Tien uses stones often used by witches themselves to protect him from dark magic and to warn him of danger. He has six rings made of silver - three on each hand. Two have carnelian (guard one against injury caused by falling walls or buildings, various peoples have used it to forestall the devil, block nefarious attempts to read their mind, and as protection from spells), two have ruby(a talisman against evil, the rich red stone was said to be a gem of prophecy – it would grow darker when danger was imminent and return to its original color when the peril had passed), and two have onyx (shield one against psychic attack by absorbing and transmuting negative energy, making it a particularly potent protection against black magic). These rings also act as a kind of "brass knuckles" against werewolves due to the silver metal band. Tien also has silver wire that he utilizes against werewolves, as well as a silver dagger that was passed down through his family. Tien has an artistic way of fighting - a style he learned from his parents before his died by utilizing martial arts. SMALL BACKGROUND:
Tien comes from a long line of witch and werewolf hunters stemming back to the 15th century. His family of hunters began as hunting beings of the "supernatural." As centuries went by, this scope was narrowed to witches and werewolves - discovering the "variety" they hunted were mostly stemming from these two entities. The Hino family, however, has a very strict sense of duty as hunters: only aggressive and dark supernatural beings are to be hunter. Not innocent and light. This family of Hunters has long denounced the senseless witch trials and hunts that have resulted in the deaths of non-witches and innocent witches alike. The same is true for their werewolf protectors. Tien's parents traveled around a lot as they took investigated oddities being caused by dark magic or out of control werewolves. Tien was homeschooled by his parents due to the traveling, and they taught him in both general education as well as teach him topics he'd need to be aware of as a hunter. These teachings didn't get very far though. When investigating claims of mysterious fires popping up in a forest by a small town, the Hino Hunters themselves were targeted by a powerful warlock with mastery of destructive magic. This destructive magic focused around fire. Tien was the only survivor at the age of 10 when the warlock set the small house the Hino family had rented on fire. It had been a terrible inferno. Tien only survived because his parents were able to use what protective charms they had to keep him safe from the magic-based flames until the firefighters arrived.
Tien saw his parents burn to death while covered in protective charms and towels soaked in water.
Family relatives were spread out in other countries across the world. It was the hunters who ran The Aegis that took in the orphan. Tien was a permanent resident of The Aegis then, spending all his time training to take down dark warlocks and witches like the one that had killed his family. It was here that he met Rosalie Jade, and became friends with her just as he was friendly with many of the other Hunters around their age. At the age of 16, he adopted a stray orange kitten he found, who has become the resident chonky pet of The Aegis since then. Stumbling through the woods, he found the The Twin river home and collapsed on the doorstep. Greeted by a confused Samuel, he was brought to the house mother, who evaluated him as good of heart and bestowed the wolf gift on him. Instantly he was healed of his wounds, but the exhaustion remained as he had encountered the widow in the meadow, and she had attempted to drain him of his life. To this day, 6 months later, he is left with enhanced sight of the supernatural and hearing.

Rosalie Grew up on the outskirts of Havenly in a large compound named The Aegis.
As a child, her life was spent training with others in the compound and spending her free time learning about different tactics used by werewolves and witches. Despite her very traditional upbringing in religion, she did read a fair amount of literature on witchcraft rituals and spells to ensure she understood her enemy. While witches were her specialty, she has since pivoted to learn more about the wolves and their transformations and abilities.
At the age of nineteen, her compound was attacked. Her father was killed in the attack, leaving her distraught mother to lead the team of hunters. Worried that her life may be completely shattered, she saw the Hunters rise up to support her mother and the support of the surrounding communities. And while it continued to stand many years later, the realization that their world was fragile was ever-present. Due to this, she emersed herself deeper into her studies to provide the same level of care she had seen.
Currently, at the age of 25, Rosalie's skill set is equal. She can utilize any weapon she finds and her surroundings to defeat her enemies. She is a force to be reckoned with. She is resourceful but not without fault. At times it can take her a moment to find a relevant resource. Being human also makes her vulnerable to werewolf attacks. However, she wears and has many protective barriers working with her from witchcraft. While not impervious, they are easier for her to fight against.

Rolie also has a swirl of runes tattooed on her body, starting from her collar, that swirls down her left hand, ribs, stomach, and left leg. While there is not power connected to this as she is not a witch, they are protection runes. Striking in places that do not hold the runes is the best bet for a witch in battle.
NAME: Tobias (will answer to Toby)
AGE: Looks to be in his early to mid thirties.
SKILLSET: Tracking, Hunting, Handyman, and a slew of hobbies picked up over his lifetime.
ABILITIES: Tobias has an extra sensitive nose allowing him pick out individual scents from up to 2 miles away. He is also a bit faster and stronger than some of the younger members of the pack but that is due more to age than anything special. Tobias is also excessively tough, sometimes to his own detriment, putting himself in harms way because he knows he can take the hits.
SMALL BACKGROUND: Tobias doesn't speak about his past often. Well to be fair he doesn't speak at all. It's assumed he was born in the early 1920's by the witch that found and saved him during the last year of the Great Depression. She found him left for dead in a dusty alley, severely beaten, body covered in wounds, the right side of his face slashed haphazardly and his throat cut. The men who attacked him still walking away paying him no mind. In his dying moments the Witch offered him a deal. She would save his life if he agreed to serve her. The fire in his eyes was enough answer and she changed him, giving him a new lease on life. While the change did save him and heal the wounds, it wasn't a perfect healing. He was left scared all over and had lost the ability to speak due to the throat injury. Tobias traveled with this Witch for the better part of 40 years before she was killed by a Witch Hunter in the 80's. During that time he picked up many odd skills and took on jobs where he could to support himself and his Witch whenever they stopped at a place to assist the locals with what she could. They also made their way around the various covens of the country which is how he knew of the one in the Twin Rivers, which happened to be the closest coven to him when his Witch died. Going to them for protection he gave the Witches there the same undying loyalty he had given his Witch, and has been with them ever since. Keeping the place in good repair where he can and occasionally going out on trips to the over covens to exchange goods and supplies that would be rather difficult to send through mail or other delivery services.
POSITION IN HOUSE: Werewolf. Handyman/grounds keeper most of the time, but will run deliveries and pickups to other covens all over the nation when the need arises.

APPEARANCE: Tobias stands at 5'10 and has a medium build, that is well defined but not bulky with muscle. His eyes are the color of honey in the sunlight and the right side of his face is a grim crosshatch of at least dozen scars, as well as the silvery line across his neck. They have all healed to a point that they are now thin lines but are still every noticeable, especially the three that run though is eyebrow, the longest of them reaching an inch into his hairline. He keeps his reddish brown hair long and tied back in a single braid, often with flowers or other small ornaments woven into the braid. Something his Witch used to do for her amusement that he eventually came to enjoy. When he changes his fur maintains the russet hue of his hair. As a hybrid he stands nearly 8 1/2 feet tall, and his full wolf form is close to 5 feet at the shoulder.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Due to not being able to speak he is fluent in sign language. Very rarely brings up anything before the passing of his Witch. Also refuses to use her name now that she is gone, only referring to her has "His Witch" to others if they are able to get that much out of him.

SMALL BACKGROUND: Riley is a runaway who got lost in the foster care system. She spent most of her
youth committing petty crime to get by and survive. Most of her life had been
spent alone which is what she was accustomed to. When she turned eighteen,
she was recruited by the military and joined on a six year contract where she learned
to work as a unit with others, as well as basic social skills. While on her leave, she found herself
invited to travel with a colleague to Havenly, where they took her to a compound called The Aegis. Once she was there, her friend had informed her of things she never thought existed. Stories from fantasy
books and nightmares, and while Riley was wary, they provided proof of witches and werewolves existing. Riley
later found out that her friend had brought her to the compound after seeing her as a prospect for a hunter.

into the Aegis, she was put through extensive training, which she excelled at. It didn't take her long to understand
the workings of the compound, or the mechanics of her new position.

living on the streets and canoodling with gangs
have efficiently killed her anxiety in high tense situations.

Depending on the situation, Riley finds herself a bit more
uncomfortable in calm situations. Usually if it involves any sort of
socialization or anything involving people she's not close with.

She rescued a Blue Heeler Cattle Dog while she was overseas.

She is very blunt and to the point when speaking.
Her tone gets confused with sarcasm, but she only uses
deadpan sarcasm with people she's comfortable around. She chose
to work in the Biosphere because it calms her and she enjoys the simple work.

Hayden relies on speed, precision, elegance, and agility to take down a foe. She carries an arsenal of bullets laced with poisons that temporarily weaken the enemy's stamina, anti-magic potions that temporarily weaken a witch's spell strength, and silver bullets for putting down werewolves. She uses the anti-magic bullets sparingly as they are expensive to craft.
SMALL BACKGROUND:
Wanting a simpler life for their daughter, the Van Blairs' moved to the outskirts of Havenly where they were welcomed in by the Jades into the Aegis Compound. Hayden as spent most of her life within the Aegis and loves the people there dearly seeing them all as family. Her parents who were engineers prior to moving helped with the installation and maintenance of the Compounds security, and rather than encourage her to follow in their footsteps, they encouraged her to pursue her passion for dance.
During the attack on the Aegis Compound, both of her parents were killed aiding in its defense leaving Hayden an orphan at seventeen years of age. Seeing first-hand the kind of destruction the werewolves and witches rot and the loss of her parents changed the young woman. Filled with rage and a desire for vengeance, she hung up her ballet slippers and sought work in the Aegis Research Lab determined to even the playing field.
