Analeigh Saropolvia was a very bored Princess. Everything was so prim and proper and always had to be perfect for display. Like her ridiculous outfit for instance, who in the world could wear so much ruffles and not look like a fluffed up poodle. If this was what was now considered high fashion, the person who created it should be killed. She craved for something dark and more wicked, something that showed off her bountiful figure rather then hide it. She wanted to be dark and seductive, carnal in her nature, just as the vampires were.
The only thing that really captured her interest anymore were the vampires. Well, that and the kidnappings that had plagued her villages. Whenever someone went missing, they were always found either dead or changed. The thought of all that death and carnage, of the ones coming back immortal vampires. It made her blood boil with excitement and she longed to meet and become one of them. The thought of a dark mysterious and gorgeous vampire sinking his fangs into her - it made her heart race and her body throb with the idea.
The drawbridge to the castle dropped down and a man came riding through. The moonlight glinted off his features and she just had to get a better look at the stranger. It was, after all, highly unusual for strangers to come this late at night to seek an audience with the King. Such an act was unheard of and considered rude and dishonoring to the court. It could get a person killed, but this man, he strode with a purpose towards the castle doors. Much to her surprise, as she made her way down to the throne room, she saw the man enter and gain a meeting with her father. She walked into the room, keeping back into the shadows so that neither of the men wouldn't be able to see that she was eavesdropping or getting a better look at the man who now stood before her father. The only word that her mind could make to describe the man was vampire.
