It was all still new, even harder in some ways to grasp being out here in this growing little village. Not to mention being raised in an orphanage certainly didn't teach you to value oneself - her very personality was tailored to tuning in and trying to get someone to like her enough to keep her. She thought for the longest time that since there hadn't been a proper fit for her that it was the lack of family that had left her so miserable. Aging out of the system wasn't all bad, she finally had control, it took an immense amount of figuring out and scraping by but it felt leagues better then being guilty and punished. Even though she had freedom there was something
