Four fifty-two. One didnâ??t have to wonder why the halls were so deserted this time of the day. Sure, there were one or two administrators left doing only God knew what in their offices, but, as for the students, they had completely disappeared. All accept for one lucky student. Sure, his mother had to come in and have a considerably long talk with their Principle. That was nothing though. He had them both completely convinced, and he had gotten away with it without even getting grounded. After all, when it was a grown man, versus a seventeen year old boy, the â??innocentâ?? child almost inevitably won every time.

After all was said and done, he planned on going out to have fun â?? and for once, his parents actually felt bad for him and wanted him to enjoy himself. A bright smile flickered across his features as he leaned on the only door frame that still had a light on within, and much movement from inside. There was just one more stop he needed to make. To him, it was all a big joke. No, he couldnâ??t conjure up any sort of remorse for his old teacher. Not that the man had ever done anything to make him angry, but he really wasnâ??t hard on the eyes at all. It was a first for Zack and it was amusing that he had pulled it off â?? albeit, with much difficulty.

Slender fingers brushed at chocolate brown hair, to keep it from obscuring green eyes as they danced playfully over the room. â??You know,â? He muttered thoughtfully, but it seemed to echo in the room. â??I think it looks nicer. Much cleaner than before, donâ??t you think?â? And it was. The room almost looked bare as the teacher gathered all of his belongings. They would have a substitute for a while, which was good. It meant that this would be a blow off class. â??Need any help packing?â? Moving and placing his hands against the desk, he sighed. It was true. Zackary McCauley really didnâ??t have any conscience at all

Mr. Nolan Wayward was a well respected teacher for five years. Only in his early thirties he was liked among his peers, parents and certainly his female students. He was a very young-charming looking teacher that could swoon any girls heart with just a smile if he so pleased. This was a major blow to his career, but at least no charges were going to be filed considering it was a 17-year oldâ?¦nearly an adult. But how better school could one get than Forksworth Academy this late in the school year?

The last bell rang while Nolan was still in his office, slowly packing up his things. The past two hours he contemplated his next step. To be honest he was ready to just walk away from this whole mess and forget it ever happened. That was until an adolescent voice broke his silence. â??Mr. McCauley, I do hope you are smart enough to watch your back from now one,â? he replied coolly ignoring the taunts. â??Karma has a way of coming back to bite one hard in the ass,â? he added glancing up at the other with a hard stare.

The boy was quite attractive, heâ??d give him that. On several occasions heâ??d find himself a little uncomfortable in class when he listened to Zackary give an oral presentation. Suddenly a million thoughts rushed through his mindâ?¦no way was he going to let this little punk get away with ruining him like this. Nolan decided that HE was going to be Zackâ??s Karma

At the comment, Zackâ??s smile grew considerably, and white teeth flashed at his old teacher. Now that Mr. Wayward wasnâ??t one of his professors, the whole â??nice guyâ?? charade had dropped completely. It was to be expected actually, but he was a bit surprised that the man had the guts to threaten him now. Well, it wasnâ??t as though Zack wouldnâ??t have much proof. That and his mother didnâ??t have it filed on Nolanâ??s record. Zack hadnâ??t pressed it either. Heâ??d wanted the man fired, not sent to jail.

â??Karma, sir?â? The teenager feigned ignorance as dark eyes moved to lock on Nolanâ??s form. â??I was under the impression that I did this school a favor,â? Mindlessly stretching, he leaned carefully against the empty desk. â??A good school like this doesnâ??t need a teacher that goes for innocent little boys. You agree, donâ??t you?.â? Of course Zack was well aware that his teacher wasnâ??t very old yet, and he wouldnâ??t have attempted the stunt if he hadnâ??t found his teacher stunningly above average.

Heâ??d never been much of a fool, and heâ??d noticed his former teacherâ??s eyes on him at times. The boyâ??s smile turned rather smug, but he glanced toward the door. In this state, he hadnâ??t planned on antagonizing his teacher so much, and he was very interested in getting away from the school for a while. Besides, people were generally not in their right minds in times like this
