Hi all!
So, I just wanted to make a quick post in case someone might be interested in writing out a dark, smut-centric polyamorous, harem-oriented plot that revolves around a Male Lead (Y/C) in a medieval setting who was born and raised inside of a brothel and has spent his entire life learning the trade from the Madam (M/C) and fraternizing with all of different the Working Girls (M/Cs)?
Essentially, the story would have a bit of a smutty Slice-Of-Life feel to it, but it would also be happening within the framework of this either Medieval-based or High Fantasy-esque world so, there's definitely plenty of potential for an overarching plot or just conflict coming from inside and outside of the house. Originally, when I came up with this idea, I imagined that the Male Lead (Y/C) would be the only guy who actually lives in the house with all of these Working Girls (M/C) so, that alone can already cause tension and turbulence times ten โ if not more, especially when you take into account the kinds of different relationships he can be having with each of them, and all of the various dynamics that would entail. While nothing is set in stone, I also envisioned that the Madam (M/C) would be the midst of preparing to leave or retire or, maybe she can even secretly be sick โ and is hoping to leave him the business since she'd want to keep things "in the family" (so to speak). So, that could also create a lot of room for concern as far as the fate of the brothel goes, and whether or not he's up to task of taking on a more serious role in the house (even if that jeopardizes or changes a lot of his pre-existing relationships) and if he's truly capable of overseeing a lot of these new responsibilities.
Now, all that being said โ I really want to emphasize that the smut-aside, I'm also looking for someone who is interested in character development and plotting. Even though the eventual polyamory/harem and the smut itself would be the heartbeat of the story, I'd prefer it if the person I'm writing against would be capable of bringing a dynamic OC to the table and would also be interested in helping me craft out the world around these characters. Like I said, I'd want the setting to be medieval in nature, but what that means for the details of the world itself is really anyone's guess. Same goes for the inner workings of the brothel, and what a lifetime spent with these women watching him grow up or, perhaps even growing up alongside him โ looks like now. In the end, there's just tons of room for things to expand in various different directions.
Overall, I don't like it when people's RP requests come with a lot of strings attached, but I will just say: even though I'll always prefer quality over quantity in terms of replies and length, if I feel like I'm being given crumbs in comparison to what I'm offering then I do think I'm well within my right to drop the thread. Other than that, please feel free to reach out. I'd love to get this ball rolling!
