This is where all of your account settings live. Everything profile-related is located under "Account Details" and is very straightforward
but in the event that you're confused, here's a little more information on how it works on Blue Moon.

𝐈𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨:
- change your profile picture
- change your signature
- change your username
- change your custom title (the little blurb underneath your username)
- add to your "about you"
- add social media handles/discord username*

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞
Profile pictures are 512 x 512 minimum.
★ Find your username on the upper right side of the screen.
★ A drop-down box will appear. Click on your username to access your profile page.
★ There will be a box to the left with your current profile picture, click it.
★ A dialog box will pop up and you can choose your desired photo
★ If you have issues the most likely reason is that the image is too large

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫
Banner pictures recommended size is 1200 x 600 for best results.

★ Find your username on the upper right side of the screen.
★ To the right of your profile picture, you will see the "EDIT PROFILE BANNER"
★ Click it and follow the same steps as your profile picture.

The signature box has a maximum height of 240px.
Anything larger than 240px will be cropped out.
An image 220px in height will allow enough space for one line of text to accompany your image.

Usernames can be changed once every calendar year.

★ Find your username on the upper right side of the screen.
★ To the right of your profile picture, you will see the "ACCOUNT DETAILS"
★ Next to your current user name click "CHANGE"
★ Fill in your new username along with your reason for the change and click save​

★ To change your chat name color, find the gear in the upper right corner of the chat box.
★ A drop-down box will appear.
★ Under "YOUR MESSAGE COLOR" click to open a color picker box. This will allow you to change the color of your name.
★ You can enter a HEX CODE or you can use an RGB CODE. This goes in the color picker box at the bottom.
Once you've selected your desired color, hit "UPDATE" and you're done!

★ To disable your chat box, find the cog in the upper right corner of the chat box.
★ A drop-down box will appear.
★ At the bottom make sure "DISABLE CHAT" is checked.
★ The box will disappear on its own and an announcement bar at the top informing you chat has been disabled.
You will not see the chat box the next time you open BMR.

If you ever lose the chat, you can find it at the top of the navigation bar at the very top of the page
and edit it from there.

Alternatively if you don't want to completely disable the chat and want to simply move it here's how to do so:
★ Same as before, click on the gear in the right corner of the chat box.
★ At the very bottom you will see "DISPLAY MODE" and a drop-down option.
★ Select where you'd like your chat box to be and it will automatically save its location for you
Refresh the page and it will be in it's designated location you chose.

Request threads are a big part of getting other users to reach out for potential roleplays with you. Thankfully, there are already free-use request thread templates available for all users of BMR.
For those that are familiar with the terminology- BMR does NOT use CSS coding, only BBCODE.

Essentially, if you see a thread design you like click on "LINK TO CODE" and it will navigate you to your desired template.
Copy the entirety of the code to ensure the code doesn't break when you're preparing to put your information in. If your code breaks and you need help, feel free to reach out to a designer.
