Jourdan Byrne-Watson
Age: 27
Description: Tall, Slender, and Athletic

History: Jourdan was working as a waitress at the historic John Harvard's Tavern where she met and befriended Morgen and Freya. The two Harvard students were platonic friends who frequented the Tavern and she shared an obvious chemistry with them despite their socio-economic differences. Freya had unlocked Jourdan's natural modeling talent, posing frequently and with increasing levels of nudity. She also became a love interest to Morgen though the seriousness was not quite symmetric in the relationship as she was not done exploring her sexuality despite having the best sex of her life with the charming grad student. Having never been in a sapphic relationship, the countless hours posing for Freya was bound to pique her curiosity. A particularly demanding pose for Freya resulted in a lot of touching and close contact with her model. At the moment their lips came together it was obvious more was going on than model and artist. A moment of passion led to artist becoming as naked as model at which point Morgen's untimely visit shattered the relationship.

It had not been deliberate and apologies were offered, (perhaps?) and accepted, but with Morgen's successful thesis and graduation, things couldn't remain the same. The parted as friends with no hard feelings (at least admitted). Left alone the glowing embers of passion between model and artist burnt brightly to the point of Freya proposing and Jourdan accepting. Jourdan made a point of wanting to invite Morgen to the wedding, but alas he sent his regrets.

Morgen Atwood
Age: 32
Description: Brawny, Sturdy, Powerful

History: Morgen and Freya formed a fast friendship soon after meeting at an art exhibition -- she being an art major and he a graduate student in architecture. They supported one another and grew close, though Freya's strict, lesbian orientation prevented their friendship from wandering into romantic territory. As such, they often shared the women that happened into their orbit -- until they both met Jourdan at John Harvard's. The three grew close, and Morgen and Jourdan began dating. He never failed to ravage her body and please her, but the demands of his aspiring profession often pulled him away from the woman he'd come to love dearly. She had expressed an interest in modeling, and Morgen found consolation that Freya would occupy her time and help enable his lover's ambitions.

The man had ambitions of his own, and with his eyes set on New York City, nothing would please him more than bringing Jourdan along -- that was, until Morgen walked in and found Jourdan and Freya naked and french kissing. Morgen's life, from that moment onward, amounted to a blur in his memory. He vaguely recalled an awkward conversation with Jourdan some days after; learning that she did not reciprocate his ardent feelings broke Morgen as much as her infidelity. He felt betrayal, anger -- especially towards Freya, who was willfully complicit. Morgen made it known that he intended to head to New York City after graduation and wished Freya the best with her new girlfriend.

Then, while laboring under the heinous tutelage of the notorious Peter Eisenman a few years later, Morgen learned that -- what he'd secretly hoped was a passing dalliance -- had become a promise of matrimony. The invitation to Jourdan and Freya's wedding ruined what healing occurred during the imposed isolation from them both. Morgen politely declined, citing the need for international travel that weekend; in consolation, he bought them an engraved, silver platter from their registry, then sulked at his parent's place in northern Connecticut. Drinking on the wedding Saturday until nearly blind, Sunday became a day of renewal for Morgen. What was done was done, and he hyper-focused his grief into a dedication to his professional stature.

From that day onward, Morgen joined architectural societies and met everyone even mildly interested, volunteering for boards. He even volunteered for the Alumni Council at his alma mater. That connection landed him an invitation to apply for an available adjunct professor position in architecture, which he accepted. A part of him knew that he could have returned via this route to relocate himself back to where his heart would always remain. But, Morgen had grown since then -- he intended to fully ignore the drama that had devastated him some years earlier and keep a low-profile to avoid letting Jourdan and Freya know he was back in town.

For one night, though .... he wanted to wallow in sentiment, to fully grieve where it all started. At John Harvard's Brew Pub. Morgen just wanted to sit alone and enjoy a few beers while drawing partis on the backs of napkins; he never imagined who would spot him as they walked in.

Freya Byrne-Watson
Age: 29
Height/Weight: 179 cm 69 kg.

Originally from Isle of Man but moved to Boston after her father had died after a a drawn out illness, with her family (mother, stepfather, a younger half sister and two older stepbrothers) at the age of 13. She enjoys horseback riding almost as much as riding her motorcycle.

She is an artist, a painter mostly but has dabbled in sculpture as well during her art school days. She may not yet be any sort of household name but what artist is while they're still alive. She does make more than enough from her work to live quite comfortably with her wife Jourdan Byrne-Watson in a converted loft in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

She met Jourdan when she was waiting table at John Harvard's Tavern where she used to hang out with her friend Morgen who was majoring in architecture. At the time Freya was working part time as a photographer for a local modelling agency mostly shooting starter portfolios and having learned that Jourdan dreamt of a modelling career she offered to help her shoot her first portfolio and put a word in for her at the agency, no strings attached, as she promised. This was mostly because at that point in time Jourdan and Morgen had become a rather serious item. They were even talking about engagement but then one day when working on a nude portrait of Jourdan things happened that under the circumstances should perhaps not have happened between the two women. Freya found herself being seduced by her model, whom she did have a serious crush on but suppressed her feelings towards for the sake of her friendship with Morgen. Long story short they became intimate and were caught by Morgen in a compromising situation. Morgen did not take it well and soon after he was gone from both their lives.

Freya made a few attempts at contacting him through social media when he failed to respond to her texts and calls which after at first went straight to voicemail or were returned unread, soon after an automated voice informed her that the number was no longer in service.

A few years later the couple were married in a small private ceremony with only Freya's mum and younger half-sister present from her side since her step-father and her two older step brothers were against same sex marriage and it was only just that her mum and half-sister were allowed to attend the ceremony. At this point Freya had also started making a name for herself as a painter and had had a very successful solo show at a renowned local gallery. It was with the money she made from this, combined with the money Jourdan had made from her modelling career that they bought the loft they now reside in.

It was also shortly after that Jourdan began talking about starting a family, something Freya at first didn't feel she was ready for. It was another couple of years, when they had both begun to settle down, that she too began entertaining the idea, assuming Jourdan would be the one to carry the child. There was however the problem with Freya's family, or rather her step-father, being strictly catholic and as much against IVF as he was pro-life.

Not wanting to put her mother through the pain of not being able to have any contact with her grand child Freya was the one to suggest that if they were to have a child it had to be conceived the natural way, even if the thought of her beloved wife being bred by a man was in a sense revolting to her. It had to be Jourdan though because the thought of herself in the same situation was even more revolting to her.

Fun fact: She is also fluent in Manx, more or less. It is not often she gets to actually speak the language though. Her mum, who is Norwegian in origin, knows a little but not much.
