The room was shrouded in darkness, or at least it was for a few moments, for the sun had just started to rise. The sunlight filled the cracks in the darkened curtains, and a loud moan could be heard. The curtains were pushed back, and the sunlight hit a beautiful woman. The only strange thing about this woman was that she had feline pupils, and she had a certain feel to one, one similar to that of a demon. In fact, she was a demon herself, one that had mastered the art of disguising themselves as a human, except she could never get her eyes just right. "Good Morning Master Asch! Shall I gather the morning cup of coffee and the new mission today?"

"That would me much appreciated Sylrin, I'll be out there in a minute. Just, make sure to have the mission briefing ready, I'm not in a mood to sit through the boring details today." The young demon nodded her head, heading out the room and closing the door to give Asch a bit more privacy. He slowly got out of bed, his body completely void of clothing, stretching to wake himself up fully. Heading over to his closet lazily, he pushed the door open, walking in and searching for a outfit. He knew he should probably get into hunting garbs, but he truly wasn't in the mood. Sliding on a pair of boxers, he grabbed his traditional garbs, a skin tight shirt, with a thick pair of black blue jeans. He had a trench coat in his free hand, tossing it outside his closet and onto his bed.

"I wonder what the mission is today, and more importantly, who sent it. If it's valid, I'll take it as usual, but if it's another human that just wants revenge for a demon that was acting, well demonic, then I'll deny it." Slipping into his pants and shirt, he headed out of his closet, closing the door quickly, and headed over to his bed. Picking up his trench coat, he detached a leather strap from it, fastening it to his body. The strap seemed to be a dual gun holster, one gun on both sides, a X being formed on his chest from the straps crossing. Throwing his trench coat into the air, he quickly thrust his arms upward, the trench coat perfectly sliding into place.

"Gotta get the hype up, that's for sure. This job is so dull without being in the mood. Once my adrenaline gets rushing, that will make it even more intense." Heading out of his room, he closed his door behind him, heading towards the kitchen for his daily breakfast. He had a simple cut of coffee and a ham, bacon and cheese omelet. Picking up his fork, he smiled at Slyrin, taking a seat and motioning for her to take a seat nearby. She had been working for him for more than a year now, and she was only employed by him because he saved her from a deadly deal. She wanted to repay him, and offered her services as hs personal maid, and he couldn't help but accept her offer.

"So, what's on my agenda. Who am I hunting, who am I trying to save, and what am I aiming to retrieve. Hopefully this will be a simple mission, I wanna be asleep still." Sipping from his cup of coffee, he began to watch as Slyrin gathered her papers, and stacked them neatly, sliding them towards him. Finishing the last bite of his omelet, he lifted the papers, and began going through them. It seemed he would be having a pretty interesting day ahead of him, but he'd allow Sylrin to cover the details.

"We receieved another mission from those Trackers, you know, those fools who refuse to get their hands dirty? Anyways, the Bishuden family has gotten into soul harvesting again, and apparently, they've also raping their victims before harvesting their souls. Personally, I believe this to be disgusting and dishonorable behaviour for a demon, but there are loads of cruel demons out there. It seems all the Trackers want are the heads of the head of the family, and you know the three. You've got the father and his two sons. As you know, they also run a slavery operation. The only side thing to this mission, the Trackers want you to free the slaves after killing the trio."

Nodding his head, Asch let out a wicked grin, glad to finally get his hands on the Bishuden family. He had been forced to turn a blind eye to their slave ring, for they weren't kidnapping anyone and forcing them into slavery, and their past acts of soul harvesting had been nothing but mere animal souls for a silly little ritual. Looking over at a side door that lead to his trophy room, the young hunter grinned, knowing there would soon be a new trophy to add to the collection. The Bishuden family had a special orb that contained mass demonic powers, and it was a hobby of Asch's to collect one heirloom from each demon he brought in. "After you take care of the house, got on a mini vacation or something. You deserve some down time, you've been working non-stop."

"No thank you Asch, I'll just take a nap or something, I've no desire to head out." Sighing, the young man headed to out the door, knowing how stubborn Slyrin was about resting. He headed down to his midnight blue sports car, having no real desire to finish this in any rush now. He made sure he had gathered his arsenal before he left, and then popped the truck of his car, loading it all in. Walking over to the driver's side, after closing the trunk, he jumped into the car, thrusting his keys into the ignition. Heading off, he got a quick buzz on his cellphone, answering it quickly.

"Asch, before I forget. There is a rumor of a new hunter hitting this territory. The Trackers informed me that they also hired her to handle this mission. Apparently she's just as skilled, if not better than you. Personally I've got no information on her, but that's all the Trackers could tell me about this new hunter." With a click, the hunter sighed, knowing this day would only grow more interesting with each passing moment.

Selene rarely worked for others, choosing to hunt demons for the sake of wiping their race from the planet, but the Trackers had offered her a good price for killing the heads of the Bishuden family and it was always better to get paid for a job that she would have done free nonetheless.

Selene lived like most hunters. She traveled a lot, usually spending nights at hotels or just sleeping at the back of her Chevrolet Impala, moving from place to place hunting the demon that took her twin sister when she was only 4 years old and killing the rest who she happened upon while she traveled. Over the years, she has killed over a hundred low-level demons and a handful high-level ones but still couldn't find anything about her sister and her whereabouts. She was just about to give up when another hunter told her about the Bishuden family whose most prized possession, the orb, could give her an idea of where her sister may be.

So when the Trackers called her up to tell her about the job, she sped all the way there. On the way, she called up her favorite researcher, a resourceful computer nerd that she rescued from the hands of an annoying little imp. He felt that he owed her big time so whenever she needed help with a case, he was always more than happy to do research for her. He promised he would email her the details of whatever he would uncover so it wasn't a surprise when she had 5 emails from Peter with all the dirt he could find on the Bishuden family.

"Soul harvesting... and slavery..." Selene clicked her tongue then chuckled softly. "Sounds like a whole barrel of fun."

Having another hunter around was annoying for Selene. She never worked well with others so when the Trackers told her that another hunter named Asch was on the job, she was even more hesitant to take the job. But her answers were in that mansion and she wasn't going to let another hunter or a group of demons to get in her way.

Tonight was the night. Selene had been sitting in her Impala, safely hidden in the bushes, for hours watching the house with her emerald green eyes. Her favorite weapons were sitting on the seat next to her. Two guns and 6 magazines, loaded with silver blessed bullets, were tucked in the holster just waiting for her to put it around her small waist. Her katana, in case she ran out of bullets, was in its sheath, laying on top of the guns.

Selene checked her watch. "Ding dong, anybody order a large can of whoop ass?" She said wryly. Stepping out of her car, she took her katana and her guns and placed them on her body. She reached back and tied her long brown hair into a ponytail as she waited for the most opportune moment to attack.

Pulling up in his car, the hunter came to a pause as he noticed another car outside the mansion, knowing it must be this new hunter Selene. Asch had no intentions of working with her, and he knew she'd try and claim the bounty. Why she had entered a territory with another hunter was beyond him, but surely the rumors were false. He had taken on the majority of the higher leveled demons on his town, and this was no different. The three he was going for were the top three of the town, since Asch had eliminated the former head of town. It's amusing, with each demon you slay, another one comes to take it's place. Surely I've picked the best profession.

Headed over to the mansion, Asch had no intention of awaiting the opportune time to strike, he had been within the mansion several times already. He'd purchase some of the slaves, and send them on their way to their rightful homes, not caring much for the business. He lifted his coat real quick, checking his two guns, and then turned his head enough to see behind him. He held a massive sword on his back, a famed Buster Blade that he had forged himself. Infusing it with the energy of the 'angels', Asch had crafted the ideal sword of slaying demons, or at least that's what he thought. His bullets were also silver and blessed with holy powers, preparing himself for anything of the kind. He had taken out several werewolves and vampires in his day as well. "Let's do this!"

Sneaking into a window, he began to sneak around the mansion, looking for any signs of these girls they were taking. He knew he didn't have to be too cautious, but he still liked being on guard in case they weren't in the best of moods. Ducking behind a pillar each time a guard came around, Asch placed his hands gently upon his guns, ready to take them out in case it got a little hairy. He didn't plan on killing anyone that wasn't needed to be killed, but he did have the three heads of the Bishuden family to kill. I'm coming for you.

Selene wasn't one for sneaking into houses unannounced. She liked it when the demons fought. It always made things much more fun for her. And somehow, she felt that every kill brought her closer and closer to her sister. Taking her guns out, she checked the magazines then braced herself to kick the door down. With one large bang, the door opened and nearly all the guards in the first floor came, rushing to the foyer.

"Hello, boys..." Selene smiled at them, her guns hidden behind her. "I'm kinda lost. Can you tell me where your bosses are hiding so I can cut their heads off?"

The demons roared in reply and they all advanced towards her. She brought her guns out, shooting as many of them as she could. On her count, there were 6 guards on this floor. She killed 2 with shots to the head and seriously injured 2 others. All with one round of bullets. She hid behind a pillar as she re-loaded then waited for the other 2 to get close enough to get shot. After killing them, she approached the stairs and ran up, shooting at the other guards who were coming down to assist the others that were already dead.

By the time she reached the second floor, 4 more guards were dead but she was sure there were plenty more low-level demons in this floor. Most likely guarding the orb and their masters. She chuckled when she remembered that there was supposed to be another hunter. "Well... it looks like you missed out on all the fun, Asch." She murmured to herself as she went in search of the Bishuden demons.

"So, I've missed some fun, have I?" A cold hand gripped Selene's shoulder roughly, a faint dripping noise heard in the proximity. Looking back, Selene could see blood dripping from Asch's sword, and his eyes staring down at her coldly. It was apparent he wasn't too happy to see her, but he didn't seem to mind her intrustion either. He had been spending some time researching her as he searched the mansion, his casualties short, having only killed 4 demons in total. He had no reason to kill any demons unless they struck first, and most of them let him past, as if not thinking of him as a threat.

"You will find no trace of your sister here, and as for that artifact, it'll tell you nothing. It contains the Bishuden family's power, if it shatters, I'd hate to see what would result. Also, it's mine, I've got it's stand already set up in my home." Heading forward, he saw two doors, knowing she had to choose as well. She could either claim the bounties, or claim the artifact she was after. Standing still, he turned his head back, and looked at the other hunter, his oddly attractive rival.

"To the left is the artifact, straight ahead is the brothers. Make your choice."

Selene slapped his hand away and wheeled around, pointing one of her guns at his head. "Don't touch me," She glared at him, angrily. "Who told you about my sister?" She pressed the gun against his forehead, harder. No one has ever openly talked to her about her sister and this man had the audacity to boss her around and tell her what she should do. Impatiently, she decided that Asch wasn't worth her time and put her guns back in the holster.

"Go get your precious little artifact," She sneered at him as she unsheathed her sword. She preferred using it when she dealt with higher level demons because bullets hardly deterred them. Normally, she would have gone after the orb first but this time, she had a different approach. She'd take down the Bishudens and then come back for the orb and whatever evil artifacts he kept as keepsakes later. She wouldn't care if Asch stood in her way. She'd sooner kill him than give up her search for her sister.

Walking down the hallway that led to the Bishuden brothers, she braced her self against the wall. She'd have to wait until the point where they are too caught up with their human slaves that they won't notice her entrance. She waited, listening intently until she found her opening. Kicking the door down, she attacked the first brother, slicing his head clean off his shoulders. The next got stabbed through the heart but the last one was quicker than the two. He was already running out the hall towards the orb that would give him great power.

Selene ran after him, leaving the shrieking slaves as she followed him.

"You're sister is dead, thinking about it Selene. If the demons truly are responsible for her disappearance, she's dead." Heading into the room with the orb, Asch grinned, his thought being accurate. There were no guards, nothing, just the orb on a pedestal. Thinking this to be too simple, Asch brought up his gun, firing off a bullet at the pedastal, the pillar shaking slightly, and suddenly a faint alarm was heard. Quickly followed was the sound of several darts whizzing by, but none of them came remotely close to hitting Asch, but targetted infront of the pedastal. Grinning, Asch walked over and lifted it, shoving it in his trench coat, and left.

Heading towards the room Selene choose, he pulled his Buster Blade from his back, looking around. Swing it roughly, he made contact with the final brother's head, it flying clean off his shoulder. Turning his back to the event, he headed back down the hall, looking for an exit, sure the guards were soon to arrive, if there were any left. He had no interest in the bounty, or at least the orb was more important to him. It would pay well enough, but for now, he'd leave his acquisition quite from Selene. "Meet me outside."

Selene stayed back for a while, taking the heads of the Bishuden family and gathering them on one spot. She took out her cell phone and called the Trackers' number. "It's done." She told them.

"Very well, Selene. When you get back to your car, there will be a briefcase in the back. You may share it with Asch if you see fit." The Tracker told her and clicked off. Selene realized that they had been watched which annoyed her. She walked back down the stairs, not intending to meet Asch outside at all. She was headed out the front doors when she heard scurrying back inside the house. She returned to the back and found an imp, running about in the kitchen. Not wanting to leave a job unfinished, she grabbed him and pointed a gun at his small head.

"Luna! Please, no. The master didn't say I could not come here anymore." The imp screeched and Selene nearly dropped him in surprise. She tightened her hold on him and pressed the gun harder against his forehead. "Where is my sister? Who is that master that you speak of?" She demanded.

The imp grinned. He was terrified that he made a mistake but that meant that this woman couldn't kill him because he had the information that she wanted. "I won't tell."

"Fine," Selene growled and began pressing on the trigger and the imp began to panic and gave in. "Your sister alive. She is with the master. But she is not who you think she is anymore. The master will not let her go without a fight and the Bishudens don't even come close to how powerful he is." He spoke.

"Good." She smirked then put the bullet in his head anyway. She walked out of the kitchen and out of the house, seeing Asch outside. "My sister is alive. I know it. I just got the confirmation I needed. Now, if you excuse me, I shall go and collect my bounty. If you'd like your portion, I suggest you come with me. If that orb is all you need, I will leave now." She didn't wait for his answer and instead she began walking towards where she hid her car.
