“Frank works a boring office job, He's a quality control editor for a baby products review website that specializes in mom to be health. Something that of which he has zero interest in, but with an endless supply of articles, his job is very steady and predictable.
Frank mostly works with women, which doesn't bother him, especially being able to see and spend time with so many of them, a few he even has strong feelings for, but he is quite the introvert and lacks social skills to make decent conversation, and nothing ever blossoms for him. Many times he goes un-noticed by his peers and supervisors. He overhears many conversations and mentally prides himself for knowing everything about everyone in the office.
Outside the office Frank is single and has barely been on many dates, he gets nervous and is terrified of being rejected. He lives in a small studio apartment and has barely any furniture, just a bed, a small dinning set, a tv on the wall, a computer in the corner, and a lazy boy recliner. Nothing on the walls and mostly just microwave meals in the freezer.
People see Frank as a nice gentle guy, and that's about it. Frank is incredibly lonely and the only intimacy he ever gets is at his own accord.
Now Frank has one close friend named Elliot. They grew up together. Elliot was born into a lot of money but lost all his family when he was a teen. Elliot doesn't work, he doesn't have to, so he kinda became a self titled inventor. Elliot is a very brilliant and gifted man, but also a hermit that is terrified of the outside world, he doesn't leave the house, not since the accident that took his family away 20 years ago. So he just stays in his mansion all day inventing all kinds of strange things, and shares his inventions with Frank, who is like a brother to him and the only connection he has to the outside world. What is Elliot working on next to share with Frank??”
I would be playing Frank and I am looking for a female who can fit a role based on a conversation we can have prior to engaging in the story. First we decide what new invention is being made for Frank to try, and second how this can be used for him to escape his loneliness.
