Gorge was currently outside in the garden, tending the plants. He tended to do this in his spare time. He was normally a quiet boy and stayed at home while most others were out trying to get girls and party. But then again he wasn't like others at all. He had a special set of powers, given to him by his mother before she died and before he could remember. No one knew the full extent of them so he was rumored to be very powerful. His powers were those to kill demons, but until he actually had to fight he wore a bracelet that concealed his powers and lately that bracelet had been very important because the number of demons that seemed ot be looking for him had increased quite a bit.

He sighed, running a hand through his light brown hair that had a tint of red to it, switching the broom he was holding from one hand to the other. He looked over the garden, which took over just about the entire back yard. It took a lot of care, but he didn't mind, it had been his mother's pride and joy so he kept it just as it had alwayd been. Gorge had bright green eyes that seemed to be fake and a fairly slender figure that tended to make him a 'pretty boy' when in the right clothes. He was fairly popular in school, though mainly due to his looks and fairly indifferent attitude. He made good grades, and tried to be normal, but it was a bit hard when you could see who was good and who was bad in this world. He smiled and walked towards the house, going to get a glass of water because it was a bit hot out today. He was even wearing a sleeveless shirt and a pair of baggy shorts and he was still hot so he figured it was time for a rest. He went inside quickly, getting a bottle of water and bringing it back out to sit outside and drink.

Gorge just sat there, looking at the garden. It was amazing he was so content with such a thing when any normal seventeen year old you be trying to hang out with friends on such a nice weekend as this or pick up girls, or guys in the case of Gorge. He had never been to particular in which sex he liked, which worried his dad a bit, but he would have to deal with it. He had never thought liking guy was weird or wrong like a bunch of people did, and it only made more people like him at school so he didn't see anything wrong with it.

Remember those wishes you made when you where a child?
Those small little happy thoughts that seemed to be bundled up in a delicate ribbon of sunlight? The inside contents so precious that if anything where to happen, the child's heart would smash to pieces, remember? He could. After all, he was one of them. Most wouldn't come to the conclusion of the boy, but then again- rarely anyone saw him; with good reason. He had been sent by his master to try and fetch another, a boy supposedly who had a strong powers and if he failed his master would appear to steal the boy. It seemed simply enough, but all the same; he was just happy. Why wouldn't he be? Even if he was subjected to servitude, he was still the same Abel that anyone else could see. Still the same child born of the wishes of the pure, a creature known as a Wishling.

With the soft flap of his wispy wings, he was on his way. The small things rested against his back in plain sight, looking as if they were some sort of fluff that the boy had contracted while venturing. Very few had learned of them, so his worries about being found out where slim to none as he skipped down the small trail nearby the boy's house. A cheerful hum resonating from within his throat; he would have just appeared before the other like he did with his master. A warping sensation that forced him to travel to any place that he knew of and could clearly see in his mind, but instead he had 'walked' here. Having flown at least half the way, making sure no mortals saw his stunt. Clapping his hands in tune with the song, he slowly came upon the other's garden. Light sky blue eyes sparkling with wonder at the plant life as he bended over to sniff one of the sweet smelling flowers. His cheeks lighting up with a rosy tint to them as he inhaled. Abel was one who cherished life, even under the hands of his master, but that was just how things where. Slowly he reached his hand out to the plant life, the flowers slowly turning to him as he played softly with them. "... and you'll all grow for many more years... right? You're all so pretty.. something that very few even consider" he said with a soft smile on his lips. This being the way he was, he was a wishling after all? A delicate being who granted the wishes of others, usually tied down to one child until being passed off to yet another needy boy or girl. So one would wonder how the demon had gotten him?

Gorge had found a nice shady spot under a tree near the back of his yard and sat, just listening to the nature. It was quite relaxing and he was enjoying it quite a bit until he heard the gentle humming of what seemed to be a boy. It didn't really bother him at first but then her heard the same voice start to talk to something. He eventually got up and peered around the tree to see who he had been hearing walking to flowers that seemed to be paying attention and enjoying the boy's presence. Now Gorge was used to seeing odd things, but this was definitly at the top of his charts, that is until he sat the wisps that were wings on that boy's back and he instantly knew what he was. He just smiled a bit and watched him, not in a creepy sort of way, just admiring. He began to wonder what a wishling was doing all by hisself, they were normally attatched to people so it was a bit confusing. He eventually screwed the cap back on his water and dropped it where he had been sitting, planning on going back to it in a moment. "Hey, You!" He called out, making sure to get his attention. "Come here." He said, expecting the boy to do as he said. He waited to see what the boy would do, hoping he wouldn't try to run because then Gorge would have to chase him, and he thought it was far to hot to do that, though he would if need be. He smiled a welcoming and genuine smile at the boy, hoping that would keep him from running off, but nothing was positive and Gorge would hate to scare off such a cute little boy.

The demons had been coming about on a weekly basis by now and this week nothing out of the ordinary had shown up so Gorge had grown a bit bored with his normal rutine. He didn't know why but this wishling seemed to be a nice change of pace and if he was lucky maybe he could get him to grant him a wish or two. That would be quite nice, though Gorge would have to think about what to wish for, especially considering he was pretty content with everyhting he had now. He glanced down at his watch, it was about mid afternoon and he still hadn't done any proper training. Maybe that was what he would do once he was done with this boy. His training usually consisted of comtainment spells and summoning and dispursal spells that tended to come in handy, but never had he needed to go his full stregnth on any of his opponents yet. Which he was quite glad about. He really didn't like fighting that much, mainly because he was normally such a peaceful person, but when it came down to it, he would do what he had to and he was damned good at doing so when the time came.

Most wishlings on appeared to those they were attacked to and it was to say without a doubt that it was rare to see one in the first place. Alone just topped the charts as he kept his eyes on the plants, enjoying himself as he eyed the responses from each plant as they spoke up to him. It was just one of the things he could enjoy about this world, when he could speak out to anything- even things no other being could usually interact with. Blinking his light blue eyes softly, he tilted his head upward to eye the other. A few blond locks playing before his face, trying to hide his rosy cheeks that flushed so softly now. His eyes rested on the other for a moment, then back to the plants. A wishling could take any punishment given to them from their owners, but not others; only because of the fact that they usually weren't attached. It looked like for a moment he was going to ignore the other, but instead he slowly stood up to his full height, wings fluttering softly in curiosity. His eyes went back to eye the look and smile on the other's face before looking away bashfully. Abel wasn't entirely used to talking to others beside his master, so a shy nature usually set in for the little wishling. Rubbing his hands nervously together, it looked as if the boy was just working himself up to run as he started to shuffle away; eyes still sparkling the soft sky blue.

He scampered away from the other for a few yards or so before stooping down, not looking at him as he slowly scooped up something into his arms. His fingers playing delicately over the animal's fur as he eyed the injured rabbit. The little creature had been trying to get to the two and the feel of pain from the poor animal had gotten to him. Now with the animal in his arms, he gave the poor little rabbit a soft kiss on the nose as he granted a small wish to the poor thing. Healing the poor animals leg swiftly. With that the little rabbit seemed to wiggle its ears softly before snuggling into the boy's chest softly, feeling completely safe in the wishlings arms. Abel fluttered his wings softly as he listened to the small rabbit speak about the other boy, with the rabbit's testimony he had turned; not intent on running as he slowly walked back towards the other. Eyes looking down towards the ground bashfully. Having never said anything to the other.

Gorge just watched as the boy seemed to start to moved away. Not wanting to rush him and scare him even more, he just stayed put. If the boy continued to run then and only then would Gorge chase after him. But as of right now that wasn't happening because the boy soon picked comething up and after a moment of staring Gorge realized it was a rabit and it was hurt. He wanted to walk over there and try to help, Gorge himself having a soft spot for animals, but he didn't want to scare away the boy. He sighed lightly and just watched and soon enough the rabit seemed better than ever. He just stood there, smiling at the boy and the rabit, wondering what they were talking about. He kind of wished that he had a cool jo like that, being a wishling. It was so cute and you got to fly and talk to things and best of all you got to grant people's wishes. That was the part that Gorge really liked, the fact that he would get to help people. That was the main reasonhe hadn't given up his current 'job' yet and that he kind of enjoied it. He continued to smile, though was getting a bit inpaitient as they still spoke. But soon enough the boy started to make his way over to him. It wasnt as if he wanted to rape him or anything devious like that, just talk to the boy and such. He admired the boy though was confused about a few things. Such as why he was alone and such, but he would wait until the boy got comfortable enough around him to ask these kinds of things, he didn't want to frighten him away.

Gorge seemed like he was trying to approch a wold animal as he thought of these things. It was a slightly funny thought, causing him to laugh a bit before quiteing himself. He couldn't make sudden movements, he couldn't make and loud noises, or bare tlak without this boy jumping at least a bit. Gorge didn't think he looked that scary, sure he was kind of tall compared to the kid, but he wasn't too tall to give the boy any reason to be afraid of. He continued to stand there, really wanting to jsut walk over and talk to the boy, but he knew better and knew that he would have to let him mmove at his own pace. He never knew wishlings were this jumpy and cautious though. He though that their magic wouldn't work unless they willed it, and so far that had seemed to be the case uless his books had been hiding things from him. He slowly entended an arm, rither for the other to smell, like a cat would, or take or shake or whatever he wished. Gorge didn't really care as long as he got ot talk to him.

The rabbit in his grip rested snuggly against his chest as he walked closer, seeing as the other had gone through a little bit of a laughing fit before stopping. Why laugh? He was somewhat curious as he tilted his head to one side, wondering exactly what the other would see as funny. Then silently the other extended his hand, why- he wasn't quite sure as he slowly walked his way to the other. Holding the animal softly against his chest as he drew close to the other. Eyes sparkling a soft and fragile sky blue as he looked at the other's face, searching it. Books where ones that easily lied when it came down to information, though all the same- the book the other had, had probably never spoken about a 'free' wishling before; it was horribly uncommon. So rare that it begged tugging at the other's mind for an answer to why such a special creature was alone. The nature of the whisling should have pushed him to another, but here he was alone. His little fluffy cloud wings giving off small flaps as he drew up to the other's hand. His right slowly extending to trace a small circle on the other's hand softly. It was his own way of testing another, he was just that way. "Mm.." he let out a soft and low murmur towards the other, the small rabbit in his grip simply resting where it was- small eyes looking up at the creature that held it.

Twitching its ears softly, it pressed its head into the other's chest, wishing to stay with the wishling as long as it could. Looking down at the rabbit, he withdrew his hand to rub the small creature's head softly before giving the other a small smile. ".. Hello..." he spoke weakly, not exactly sure what else he should be saying to the other. His blond hair rested partially in his face, obscuring the soft pink that rested on his cheeks as he watched the other. So what would Gorge do now? Ask him a few questions or something. Looking at the other softly, he searched his heart- eyes going wide a little bit before he gave a soft giggle. "Mmm... I"m Abel" he said in a slightly bashful tone from the fact that he had giggle towards the other. Being a fairly playful boy when he opened up.

Gorge watched as the small boy slowly made his way over to him. He was quite cute for a small child looking boy. He didn't know why the child took so long getting over to him. He didnt think he looked that scary. He looked like a normal person at the moment. And it was highly unlikely that something like a simple wishling could feel the kind of power he had as long as he had his bracelet on. As the boy drew circles in the palm of he couldn't help but shiver a bit. He smiled at the small creature in his arms. "That's a cute rabbit." He said and slowly reached foward to pet the rabbit gently. As the boy finally spoke, even though it wasn't much, it made Gorge feel less like the child would just run away. He just stood there for a moment after the childs first words to him, wondering what was going to happen next. His smile only grew as the boy spoke again and even introduced himself. He didn't really know how to start this conversation so he came to the quick decision that the just being straight foward would be best. "I'm Gorge, I'm a demon fighter. So, if you're a Wishling, why arn't you attached to anyone?" He asked, quite puzzled about that. He also didn't think that something as sweet as a wishling would mind that he was a demon slayer but he didn't want to give away his correct title just yet. But then again he didn't know, nor could he even fathom that something that was as sweet as a Wishling could be a pet for anyone, let alone the very things that Gorge had been destroying lately.

He smiled down at the boy, he really was cute, and his wings only made it more so. But Gorge didn't have interest in children so he would just think he was cute. He just stood there and waited for a reply, coming up with all sorts of reasons in his own head such as it was someone's wish for the wishling to be free to do as he pleased, but that didn't really mkae since becasue what normal child would know what a wishling even was. He just kept coming up with different senarios until he finally answered. He really was curious about this and if he didn't get the answer he would probably go through hell trying to reasearch it. But he thought he would get a desent answer especially considering he didn't think it would be that big of a deal for him to know such a thing.

His eyes rested on the other, reading him as best he could while in close contact with him. The rabbit perked its head up into the affection it was given, ears twitching cutely towards the taller boy Gorge. Its eyes rested on him as he spoke, Abel's cheeks growing a soft red from the other's words. He was definitely the one his master wanted, but all the same he had suspected that maybe the other was a little older and bit harsher than he was being now. After all- to kill demons one would have to be a bit more tough than this one was displaying. With his blue eyes wide he gave a weak nod. "I was sent out here" he said simply, not giving any more reason behind why he was here. The other could come to his own conclusions, maybe he was here because someone had sent him away from the other. Maybe it was so that he could collect something for another, it was hard to tell. Looking down at the rabbit, he watched as the creature tried to scurry up his chest, slowly he placed him on his head. The little rabbit, wiggled its nose softly- now somewhat confused and overjoyed all the same.

(sorry its short)

Gorge just stood there, watching the rabbit. It was quite a cute little thing, quite fitting for such a cute little boy to be holding. But it wasn't as if anyone else would be able to see, at least not too many people. He smiled at the little rabbit reaching out and petting it again as it seemed to enjoy that quite a bit. He looked at the boy as he finally spoke and just grinned. "Do I get to know why you're here?" He asked, being just as nice as before. He was quite a sweet guy despite his current job. While he was fierce when he was fighting, Gorge was almost abnormally nice for a boy his age. He was the complete opposite from the sterotypical person that would do this. He really would be fine with just the amount of information that he had gotten, but he wouldn't really have anything else to talk about with him so he would just go back to relaxing under that tree. He would have much rather gotten a bit better of an answer, but he just kept of petting the rabbit gently as he waited for an answer. He took his hand back as the rabbit ran up to the top of the boy's head. He looked at it strangly, never having seen a rabbit done that before, but it only made the boy look cuter. He couldn't help but chuckle a bit at the sight, putting his hand over his mouth to try and stifle it.

((It's fine.))

Well it wasn't in nature for a Wishling to lie a bout things, maybe that was the main reason the demon had captured him. After all, he'd never lie to him for his satisfaction, he'd get nothing but the truth all the time. Looking over at the other, he blinked his soft blue eyes before pointing at the other. "You" he said simply as if it was a cute thing to say as the rabbit rested idly on his head. The other would probably see this as cute or serious, but all that mattered was that he didn't take offense to the little Wishling that was only doing -well frankly the wish of his master. Watching the other for a moment he let out a soft giggle before fluttering his small wings, his feet lifting off the ground a little as he did a twirl with the rabbit on his head. His hands grasping the small little fluff of a bunny in his hands to let the little creature rub against his face softly. Not really being so undercover now, it didn't matter so much, now did it? Either way he'd be getting him- well his master would, with his own hands or by the gentle ways of the Wishling.

Gorge tilted his head to the side a bit as the Wishling stated the reason he was here. "Me?" He repeated, quite confused. He just stared at the boy for a bit, wondering if that could be right. Who would want somehting from him and why? "Now why would you be here for me?" He asked, watching as the boy lifted off the ground for a moment then did a little twirl, the rabbit not seeming to mind in the least. But it was pretty normal for an animal to be so trusting to a boy such as this. He just watched the cute little boy, still not quite sure if that could even be right. The only reason he could really think of that would be fairly valid would be someone at his school had a crush on him and wanted him. He wasn't even thinking about the dangerous thing that a demon would want to eat him like all the others had. He tilted his head the other way, wondering who it could be that wanted him. He had to be someone he knew... Right? Oh well, he would find out soon enough, or at least he hoped he would. He was quit curious as to why the Wishling was really there for him.

He slowly landed back on the ground, nuzzling the small rabbit to eye the other. All the same he was rather harmless right? Well aside from the obvious that stared the other down, something he seemingly couldn't see for the fact that their wasn't really much of a trace on him for it. After all, something so sweet and innocent under a devilish beast just looked utterly wrong, but this was reality for the time being as he eyed the other, wondering exactly how he should answer this. The truth? 'I was sent here by a demon to take you to him' well that wouldn't go over well, but all the same- what would the other think if he knew that such a pure thing as a Wishling was actually a pet? "To take you to someone" he slowly spoke, trying to be as vague as he could be as possible. Otherwise things would get a bit weird, right?

After all, this other from what his master had been saying- had been killing his kind recently and the reason for the others turning away was his master's rage. Many in the demonic community that had heard of 'pieces' of his 'plans' where certain that the other would be taken away soon enough, a few had tried earlier the past week to secure the boy, but where unable- then this large gap happened. His doing. It was always attributed to someone, right? Well the other didn't want anyone getting in the way and winning what was rightful his; that and for anyone to harm his poor little Wishling, the creature was something he had at least a small amount of affection for and wished nothing bad would happen to the little darling of his. After all, it served him well. Letting out a soft yawn, he eyed the other with his blue eyes- flapping his wings some as he eyed his face, hoping the other would be fine with him 'taking' him to his master. He had been told to take him to a nearby hill where they would meet, a hill that had nothing special to it. So no one would catch on.

Gorge just watched the other for a bit longer before he finally responded. He smiled a bit, wondering if he should go. He still didn't catch on that this little adorable boy could be working for such a sinister thing as a demon. He comemplated going for a bit, looking back at his house. It was only him there and his father was going to pick up dinner on his way home so he didn't have to cook tonight. He looked back over to the boy with the bunny still on his head. His smile grew a bit bigger at the sight and decided it couldn't hurt to go with him. "Ok then. hold on a moment." He said, turning and going to get his water bottle then came back to where the boy was standing. He reached out and patted the rabbit gently on the head before looking down at the boy. "So, where shall we be going?" He asked, waiting for the boy to lead the way. He really hoped he would be back in time to finish his gardening.

He guessed it would be fine because he hadn't had many demons to fight lately so even if this was a trap, which he highly doubted it would be, he would be rested enough to fight them. He smiled, thinking about who could want him, as well as why they would want him. He was quite a curious guy, little did he know that would only be his downfall. All the demons Gorge had fought had only tried the direct approach so he hadn't really had much experience with recognizing traps yet. He continued to stare at the boy with his bright green eyes, almost as if he was trying to read his thoughts and figure out who he was taking him to. He reached out, fondling the rabbit's ear affectionately. It was such a cute little rabbit, and it was on such a cute little Wishling so Gorge was none the wiser to the demon's clever trick that was behind it all. He would probably follow the boy whereever he went, so long as he knew he could get back in time for dinner.

He eyed the other "There's a hill nearby" he spoke in his soft tone as he started to guide the other away from his home and towards the demon that would ensnare the boy the moment he came to the designated place. The rabbit eyed the other as it was given more affection, head leaning into the other that touched him for as long as he could before the Wishling had taken the other's hand. Guiding him away from his house as he walked. It wouldn't be too far away, not really- just far enough so that no humans would see. He pulled the other along gently, giggling a bit to himself as they walked. Well this was how things where going to go, right? That was it as he lead the other to the designated place and drew him to the top, stopping beside him before taking a few steps back. His soft wings beating as he stood there as if waiting for something to happen. Within the next few seconds the small rabbit had taken to the Wishling's chest, having scurried down to hide in the boy's shirt so that whatever was coming wouldn't find it. It's instinct telling it so as dark energy pulsed above and the trap was sprung.

A strong iron casing was fished from the sky and forced down atop the boy below, no need to eat him here. First to capture the little fool, his hand rested atop the large cage he had taken with him; one tempered with his energy- the metal giving off a nasty pulse of hungry greed as it encased the other. The bottom of the cage simply his energy as it sparked from coming in contact with the other. His red eyes watching the place he had just sprung his trap for any resistance as he came into full view, his lanky and long body held in what seemed to be a priest's robe. A mockery of all that is pure in his own manner as he kept his black waves tied back by a red ribbon. He had some class, but it wasn't something that he'd show to others. The wishling looked up at the other with large eyes as if scared, but really anxious.

Gorge looked over at the boy as he told him they were going to a nearby hill. He knew of quite a few, but the one he was being led to, or at least the one he thought he was being led to was kind of out of the way. Well that kind of made sense because it would be kind of odd to be walking around somewhere and seeming like he was being led by someone that no one else could see. He smiled as the boysoon took his hand, and he kind of felt like a big brother of sorts. Had anyone been able to see them it would have looked very cute, a rabbit, a little boy and an older boy. Picture perfect. He was a bit confused as to why the Wishling was so giggly, but he could only guess that it was because he was doing his job and enjoying it quite a bit. Gorge knew if he did a job like this he certianly would be happy about it. Fullfilling wishes seemed like the best job one could have, at least better than killing demons. As they finally made it to the hill Gorge looked around, almost as if waiting to see someone else come out of the woods around them, or at least get attacked or something. Something definitly felt off, but Gorge couldn't place his finger on what it would be.

He looked over to the Wishling as if asking him what was going on, but then he saw the rabbit hiding and realized what was going to happen. But once he realized it was already too late as a iron cage like thing was just about dropped onto him. He quickly took off his bracelet, sticking it in his pocket so his energy was released. The energy that oozed from the bars around him just felt awful. He chanted something quietly, a ball of blue that looked like lightening fomed in his hands and he threw it at the cage, obviously weakening it a bit, but not enough to actually get out. He did it again, and then again, but he was only wearing himself out. He looked over at the Wishling, giving him a disappointed look before he stepped back and tried one more time, this time denting the bars enough that he could escape. THough it would be harder for him to fight now that he had wasted his energy on getting out.

The Wishling seemed somewhat unaware of what he had done exactly as he stroked the poor rabbit's head through the fabric of his shirt, cooing to the poor creature to calm it down before looking up at his lanky master. The demon seemed thoroughly happy with what had happened, his eyes watching as the little boy inside tried his best to get out of the cage, his own energy nipping at the boy's feet hungrily inside as if wanting a taste of the boy already as he came to opening the cage after several attempts. He had planned things this way, just something he did when it came to catching bigger prey. "Good little boy" he purred towards Gorge as he came out, tossing what seemed to be a chain at the child's body to see how he'd react in his weakened state. He was going to test the tuckered out child, that was until he collapsed from it all. After that it would be easy pickings. Kain would have pet the head of his cute little Wishling at the moment, but felt it best to simply commend the other with a grin. Able would get his reward after they had apprehended the fighting spirit before them.

[short x-x]

Gorge didn't hesitate at all, juming to the side as the chain came at him and then rushing foward at the demon. he may have been a bit tired now, but that certianly wasn't going to stop him from trying to fight. He unsheathed a sword of pure energy (which seemed to be mainly what he used) and slashed at the demon. He didn't even want to ask why this one was trying to get him, pretty sure it was the same reason as all the others. This demon only seemed to be toying with him which really worried Gorge. Maybe he was way stronger than Gorge was and he would soon be captured and eaten like all the other demons had planned. He was a bit nerveous now, but he made sure that the demon wouldn't be able to tell. Right after he slashed he continued to attack it at close range, not even sure if he was managing to do any damage, but he was moving so fast that the demon wouldn't have any time to retaliate, only defend itself. So at this point in time it was mainly a battle of endurance, and the demon would probably win unless Gorge could think of something better to do. He was hoping that he would be able to tire the demon out enough to get away, and he thought he would be abe to since he wouldn't have to save anything like the Wishling.
