Introduction

Greetings & Salutations, you may call me Aqhrcdite or Anne, whichever suits your fancy ~ ! Some things to know about me is that I am a woman, though I do write men (typically would prefer to double if I am writing a man, but not always), I currently live in the CST/GMT-5 time zone, and I am disabled so please be patient with me if I'm not always well enough to reply as urgently as I wish. I have been roleplaying for about 15 some odd years now, on and off, on various mediums - AIM, Discord, Email, Twitter, Tumblr, etc. but despite this I don't pretend to know everything about roleplay nor do I pretend I'm the best writer in the world, but I would like to think I'm alright and I'm always striving to improve. Primarily, I speak English, though I'm semi-fluent in Spanish and am also learning French. While I primarily focus on writing fandom stories, there are a few non-fandom things I do like to write, mostly historical based (particularly the victorian/edwardian era). I consider myself extremely shy and introverted, but I will do my best to continue to communicate with my writing partner, as I have learned that the best stories are always done with full/open communication.​

Specifics

Primarily, I write MxF, preferring to write the role of the female character, however I will double up, and enjoy having multiple characters if my partner also has multiple characters. I find it can really enhance a story when you have more than just two people's business going on. However, some of my favorite ships are MxM and I will also write that, as well as throw in some FxF ships here and there when I'm in the mood for that. When it comes to the concept of D/s relationships, I primarily don't write a lot of BDSM stuff. I don't mind including kinks, in fact, I like them, but I don't always like to have the relationship have the concept of a Dominant and a Submissive - just two or more people who engage in kinky behavior. I don't know if that makes sense. However, if I do write stories including such things, I primarily prefer writing the submissive role. I just have more experience writing it at this time, and if I do write any sort of Dom/me character, I want it to be known I'm still learning and need a patient partner. I prefer stories to have a pretty even plot/smut ratio, as I enjoy both aspects of a story and I won't deny that writing smut can be incredibly fun. However, I don't want the story to have zero substance either - I'm a writer with a passion for long-term stories and therefore I need a plot that's going to last. If I'm interested in just a simple one-shot, moment in the porn spotlight, I might seek someone out for that myself, but it's really not likely to happen.​
