It is said that the Ancient Nightmare Dragon may have infact created the world in it's infinite rage and formed it into what it was today. For thousands of years those Born of Drakonis, or the First humans, worshiped the Ancient and terrible dragon as a deity, constantly offering tributes in exchange for peace and safety. Supposedly, it placated the beast. Supposedly the offerings amused the Dragon God for a over a thousand years. However men evolved and in time, they grew weary of offering endless weekly tributes to the dragon god and decided, as Knights in their well established kingdom, to kill the dragon once and for all.
Naturally...this didn't end well at all... The dragon's dark flames incinerated all it touched and the dragon's eternal rage rekindled. Man however wasn't foolish. They had a back up plan in the form of a seal. Having lured him to a rich leyline, they performed a ritual they planned for years and trapped him in what we know as Limbo where his rage would ferment forever.
The seals however...were coming undone... One...then the second....then the third. The Knights of the Seal were incredibly powerful...so it was beyond imagination on how anything like this could happen!
There were far too few as capable as The Seal Knights which meant that it wouldn't be easy to deal with this predicament. Small armies were sent to serve under the remaining four knights, leaving the Kingdom of Alvina to be nigh defenseless. It was at this point where something really strange happened...
The sky turned black and the threat of storm brewed. "C-c-crACK~!" A bolt of lightning snaking through the black clouds before the sky lit up in a yellow flash and struck the grounds outside the castle hard.
In it's wake lied an 18 year old boy clearly from another world. "....Well that's...incredibly disappointing..." A buxom young, red eyed woman clad in black remarked seeing the horribly average and unimpressive boy just lying there. "Hrmm...Well maybe he's like...a mage or something...that would explain it...probably...whatever I definitely can't be picky with this." She closed her eyes and sighed. "Man this sucks..." Leaning forward after kneeling beside him, She kissed his lips, gently absorbing his knowledge though ever so lightly to prevent memory loss but enough to learn about him. Pulling back, She gripped him by his hair and pulled him up to his knees. "Hoi! Wake up! Hero-kun! Wake up!"
