Funny humans. Indeed quite interesting creatures. Silly, funny, and rather varied. Meeting one hardly meant one could accurately predict how the next one might be. Compared to fellow demons, they surely were diverse. Regarding how they looked, behaved, and felt, they differed greatly. It was a fascinating fact, which made those funny humans quite difficult to study; hence, demons were sent to their little realm to experience them, instead of learning them from a textbook. To, of course, ensure that the unfortunate enslavement and fiery doom of humankind would be carried out with ease and without complications when the time of great demon invasion eventually would come! Well, not really, but it was always nice to know more about their interdimensional neighbours.

The small town of Chinoomoor couldn't be considered the most exciting place for a human, or for a demon, to live. Still, it was where the Foreign and Development Office had ended up positioning Amy on earth, as a demonic exchange student of sorts. Whether painfully dull or alluringly adventurous, she was awfully curious to explore this new world, quite eager to make friends. An inviting air of friendliness almost always surrounded her. In fact, her endearing nature was the main reason she was selected for this amalgamation program. Otherwise, she wasn't a demon with an exceptional physical or magical prowess, but just a curious young woman.

Given her distinct traits, it was pretty much impossible for Amy to blend in with the townsfolk. She didn't try to, either. Being special: it was a feeling she adored greatly. In a way, part of her arrogant nature was encoded in her genes, while the rest came with her personality, and couldn't necessarily be excused for being a demon. Her red skin made her stand out. So did her pointy tail. That lively tail rarely stayed still, matching its expressive owner's bubbly traits.

Right behind the gym, and inside the small shed, which sunlight had trouble bleeding into, a pair of bright amber eyes glowed unnaturally. She was ready to dart out, and prey on an unknowing victim. A geeky looking student ended up being that so-called victim. As the boy walked past the doorless bicycle shed, Amy reached out in a red blur, swiping him into the small building. A gasp of fear and shock followed suit, as the demoness was quick to push him up against the wooden wall. And haunt him with her golden eyes, her tail idly swaying from side to side at the back.

"Oh, you scared me…" The young gentleman huffed. Only to let out a chuckle afterwards. The little menace who had pulled him inside hardly looked frightening, after all. "You must be the new exchange student." With an index finger, he pushed his spectacles up his nose. The school administration had already informed the students about their guest. Thus, he wasn't quite surprised to see a demon.

"I am!" A couple of times, Amy sprang up and down, "I am! I AM!" seemingly quite excited to be recognised. She loved attention, and it showed. "I'm the new student!" Along with some quick nods, a soft giggle breezed through the student.

"What are you doing here, though?" Her new friend asked. Indeed, she was supposed to be in the classroom she was assigned to.

"Some guy I met told me I should come here sometime?" Clearly, this rather small, intimate, shady shed was hardly the right place to commence her little adventure at her new school.

"Huh?" As his eyes adjusted to the dimness of the room, he had a better look at the demoness. The yellow T-shirt she wore complemented her unearthly eyes. Young horns pierced through her brown locks, looking as pointy as her ears. A purple pair of leggings hugged her hips quite well, accenting the alluring contour of her lower body. And apparently, it also encouraged some perverse quips about having her in a dark shed. "Oh no." Raising a hand, the student pointed at the main building through the doorway. "That's where you need to be."

"Oh…" A dexterous red tail rose and darted to the side, extending in the same direction as his finger. "There?" With a smile abundantly wide, she asked. "Thanks! You smell nice." With that, Amy dashed out of that small shed. Running past the gym, she was almost at the front door of the main building, which of course housed all of the classrooms, including hers. However, something, or someone rather, hindered her hurried approach to the building, as she bumped into another student. Quite swiftly, in fact. Enough to make her lose her footing and fell on her demon-butt. "Uuh..." Currently, she was unaware that this particular student whom she knocked against was going to end up being quite a special person for her. "Where did you come from?!"

There was a flash of red and then, all of a sudden, he felt his body hit the ground. Kevin had been calmly walking towards the main building, minding his own business as usual, albeit perhaps paying a little too much attention to the phone in his hands. He'd just started playing a new game after all and had to use every minute he could before class. A small, painful groan escaped him as he sat up from the stone tiles, rubbing his lower back in pain.

"What was-" The young man looked around for the cause of his fall, his eyes soon realising what the flash of red he'd seen was. The moment he saw the girl, nay, monster, his mouth went dry, his eyes widening and his breathing becoming heavier. Kevin's hands clenched into fists, his body instinctively backing away from the creature on the ground before him, creating some distance between them as his mind faded to the past, flashes of one of the hardest moments of his life replaying themselves for him.

It took several moments before the boy was able to take a deep breath and begin to recompose himself, to return to the situation at hand and leave behind the horrifying flashes. His eyes moved back towards the red being before him, something which he quickly recognised as a demon, remembering the news that one would be joining their school as an exchange student. Out of all the people in the school, he had to run into her specifically? "Watch where you're going." He finally said dryly, a slight hint of resentment in his tone. "Why'd a demon have to come to our school. You're all a danger." Kevin stood up from the ground, his hands still shaky, even if his words seemed firm.

Across the crimson lands where she came from, a clear display of fright and anxiousness was considered a compliment. Managing to stir such feelings of dread in creatures they met was a source of pride for demons. Understandably, Amy's culture and habits were different to those of humans'. Thus, this Kevin guy's strong reaction only amused her, further fanning the flames of her curiosity. First, her eyebrows rose in surprise, then her lips stretched into a smile of amusement, sharp little fangs showing through her slightly open mouth. She wasn't quick to get to her feet. Instead, the curious demon opted to remain on the ground. While she didn't know many people, everyone was a likely candidate to befriend, including this one.

In a small demonstration of her swiftness, the visiting student lunged forwards. While the young man seemed to be in a rush to increase the physical space between them, Amy did the opposite, drawing herself closer to invade that space instead. Red fingers soon wrapped his wrists as Amy pinned his arms down, looking down at him like a hunting predator would. She wasn't a hostile demon, but there were surely ones who didn't share her friendliness. It was against the rules to visit the human world without permission, rules some of them didn't like to obey. A mature demon's strength could outmatch a large bear's. And one with malicious intent could make a human perish in a most painful and vicious way. Sadly, there were indeed records of rogue demons attacking humans. And meeting the wrong one could certainly be quite hazardous, and also fatal.

Of course, there was no way for Amy to know about the unfortunate experience that had forced Kevin to have a strong bias against her kind. Understandably, witnessing a demon attack a human was a rather valid reason to hold a grudge against them. However, was that really more common than a human hurting another human?

"I am dangerous." In a cheerful tone perhaps, but she admitted it. "Thank you!" For her, dangerous didn't necessarily mean harmful. And she was rather fluttered by Kevin's remark on her kind. "Are you dangerous too?" Her tail kept swaying behind her, expressing her curiosity. "Will you let me find out?" Amy pulled herself back, and into a sitting position on him. Her tail stopped moving about, her tense posture hinting that she was about to do something. Suddenly, she pushed herself down again, but a hand tucked into the back of her T-shirt abruptly stopped her advance.

"Amy?" The principal called out. Since the outgoing demoness wasn't heavier than a modestly tall eighteen-year-old girl, the woman managed to pull her away from Kevin and on her feet. "Glad you made it, dear."

"Made what?" The red-skinned student asked. In return, the principal checked her watch. Ms Price was a busy woman, after all. Too busy to guide her, at the moment.

"Kevin?" Quite admirably, the woman knew every student's name. "Show her the way, will you?" Because of her poor availability, tasking another student with the caretaking of the girl should be more convenient. "If I'm not mistaken, I believe she is in your class, anyway."

In all his shock, he couldn't help but notice that for the demon on the ground opposite him, it was quite the opposite. Not only did she not apologise for having bumped into him as she had, she was now smiling, her fangs showing and sending a chill down his spine. While he tried to distance himself from her, to get away from the nightmarish being, it seemed she had other plans, the distance between the two disappearing once more. If that weren't enough however, it seemed like she wasn't yet done either. As he attempted to stand up, he suddenly felt her fingers wrapping around his wrists, his arms soon pinned down against the ground as she demon hovered above him. Fear began to take over once more, his initial caution feeling completely justified now as this demon pinned him down, attacking him, his throat to dry to cry for help, his eyes closing for a moment in anticipation of his death until.. It never came.

Nothing happened. Instead, he heard her voice once more, a cheerful tone to it, thanking him for his words. Why was she thanking him? Did she thrive on his suffering? On others suffering and misery? It had to be it, surely, she was a demon after all. Yet, as she pulled herself back, still sitting on top of the young man, his eyes opened once more, her questions catching him by surprise. It was at that moment that he truly observed her for the first time, the fear subsiding for a moment, replaced by the intrigue regarding her questions. Aside from the red skin, threatening eyes, tail and horns, she didn't seem all that different from some of the other girls at the school, in fact, as she sat on him, it seemed his hormones had a different idea, his body reacting to her in an entirely different way from his mind as his eyes lingered on her sizeable chest.

"I.. I'm not-" As he attempted to respond to whether he was dangerous, suddenly, it seemed like he had made a grave mistake. Her tail stopped moving and she launched herself down upon him once more, the boy realising he had let his guard down. Fortunately for him however it seemed his saviour had arrived. The principal came just in time to hold the demoness back, pulling her onto her feet and away from Kevin who quickly crawled back a couple of steps before standing up and attempting to recompose himself. As he did however, he heard his name, turning to face the principal. He was about to thank her when the woman continued speaking, suggesting he show her the way and, casually mentioning they would be in the same class.

"N-N-No Mr Price. I can't. I umm.. Surely someone else.." He spoke fast, almost slurring his words as he nervously responded to her suggestion. "Anyone else Ms Price.. I can't."

The fear of unknown this one seemed to be suffering from was hardly subtle. A great fear that apparently made the poor boy briefly mistake her for a Mr even. One didn't need exceptional observations skills to make out Kevin's lack of fondness for fully sentient beings that were not human. Like Amy, the principal too did not know exactly why this young man despised demons. Otherwise, she would have acted more sensitively before assigning such an ironic task to him. "Come on, dear." However, the woman sadly had no time to look for an alternative. "You would surely do an amazing job displaying human hospitality." After insisting Kevin do the honours of guiding this unconventional exchange student around, the principal had a look at Amy. "She's your age too. I'm sure you'll get along."

The suggestion the woman made ripped a giggle from the demon. "Oh, you're sixty three?" She asked her new friend. Since her metabolism greatly differed to a regular human's, and since things worked differently in her own realm, her apparent age was a bit of a puzzle. Or a simple math problem rather. Roughly, one had to divide it by three and a half to compare it to a human's. The principal knew that. Actually, the woman knew quite a lot about Amy. Before her arrival, the government had provided her with an elaborate dossier on the young demon.

"Sixty three?" Although she was aware of her actual age, a perplexed expression contorted the woman's face all the same. "Dear? Haven't they told you?" In return for the frown of pity she got from the woman, Amy kept smiling.

"Told me what?" A small island in the Atlantic Ocean housed the magical portal that bridged the two worlds. There were more, but that was the official one, so to speak. If the regulations were satisfied, using it wasn't quite difficult. One just needed to step into it. It also had a price to pay, however. The traveller had to sacrifice ten years of their life.

"And that fancy bracelet of yours?" Ms Price pointed at the girl's wrist. "Do you know why are you wearing it?" Of course, no matter how friendly she looked, letting a demon roam freely without any kind of precaution wouldn't have been smart. Upon meeting the woman's eye, a middle-aged, smartly dressed gentleman, who wasn't part of the school administration, subtly shook his head in the distance.

"Yeah!" The uninformed demon beamed. "It matches my eyes."

With a blank expression this time, the principal nodded. Not quite enthusiastically. "Yes. You have pretty eyes." Her attention was given to Kevin then. "Lead her to your classroom." She asked. "Don't worry, I'll try to find someone to replace you tomorrow." After that, the woman walked away from the two. To discuss an unethical matter with a certain watchful gentleman.

"Kevin!" Rather loudly, Amy called out. Her hips were swaying rapidly. And not necessarily because she was an abundantly playful gal. "I think I drank too much water." She felt the need to explain. "I command you to show me the toilet. Urgently!"

The terrified boy barely got a chance to argue against the woman. Perhaps under normal circumstances he might have been able to cut in, to explain his reasoning behind his refusal, it wasn't the case however. With his mind currently struggling to hold back his fearful response and at the same time confused about how or why any of this was happening, he simply stood there as the principal tried to convince him that he would do a good job and that they could get along. The truth was he would have likely preferred to be mauled on by a lion than get along with a demon.

Sixty three? His eyes looked over at the demon once more, his fist clenching slightly as he did, holding back the fearful response this time. As much as he looked at her, it was hard to imagine that the girl standing before him was sixty three, as his eyes scanned her a little more closely, he noticed himself pausing on her chest once more, a slight momentary blush appearing on his face before he realised and snapped out of it, listening on to the exchange between the two women. His eyes moved on to the bracelet that Ms Price mentioned. Clearly the demon saw it as nothing more than an accessory but, judging by the principal's words, Kevin could tell there was something more to it.

The young man was about to ask about the bracelet when he noticed the change in the older woman's expression. He could tell the bracelet was a sore subject, something which the principal herself didn't seem to have been entirely aware of. "Y-Yes Ms Price." He replied, accepting his role as a temporary one, hanging on to those last words of promise that she would find him a replacement for the following day. Unfortunately it did mean he had to show the red-skinned creature around for the rest of the day but he would try and find a way around it. If she couldn't find him then surely it wouldn't be much of an issue, someone else would take over.

As he resigned himself to his new role, once more he was startled by the demoness as she suddenly cried his name out loud. He noticed her swaying rapidly from side to side, something which she soon explained before commanding him to show her to a toilet. "You don't give me orders." He replied sternly, clearly discontent with his role and showing it. Of course, showing strength or authority of any kind after his earlier reaction wasn't easy, but he had no intention of letting this demon walk all over him. He was in charge, he was in control. "In the human world we ask for things nicely, I don't know how you do things in your barbaric home but here we ask please. So, want to try that again?"

Unfortunately, it seemed her new friend wasn't quick to heed this urgent and natural demand of hers. Apparently, it was about the overly assertive manner she voiced that request, but the demon wasn't able to understand that right away. She was still trying to get used to this foreign environment. Thus, there were still a lot to learn about the etiquette decent humans tended to humour. Of course, Kevin's lack of cooperation didn't change the fact that she still had to answer the nature's call. It was a need that made the demon perform a spontaneous dance. "But I just did!" Lightly hopping, and intently swaying, the restless demon widened her eyes at the student. "Ordered you to show me the way." Amy felt the need to explain. After all, the human hadn't said she shouldn't order him. From her understanding, he had just implied she didn't.

The more he talked, the more Amy could comprehend what he meant, though. So, he was salty about something. "Since you're frightened of me," nodding, the demon expressed the observation she had made about the young man, "I get to order you as my human." In her indeed relatively barbaric world, that was how things worked. In fact, it only strengthened the notion that she did need someone to guide her. Someone to be her sympathetic guardian, so to speak. "If you scare me one day, you can order me around too." Getting more fidgety every second, Amy suggested. Partly the reason she had asked him if he was dangerous.

"Oh, I could really use one of those nicely humans!" Of course, having her body almost constantly springing up and down caused her breasts to be more dynamic as well. Not as much as her tail, however. The more time she spent speaking to Kevin, the less likely it became for her to find the lavatory herself. Being a demon, she failed to puzzle out she just needed to ask it more kindly. In a way that wouldn't insult the boy's self-esteem, even though that wasn't her intention in the first place. "Just take me there if you don't want to taste eternal pain and suffering!" Lowering her eyebrows, Amy tried it again. Her hands were raised as she did, bent fingers imitating claws.

As her body tensed, her hands were quickly lowered, as the demoness paired them between her legs. Perhaps, the human's motivation was reward based. "Alright!" Lips narrowed, Amy called out again. "Show me where I can drop my pants," smilingly, the demon commenced offering a deal of sorts, "and I'll show you something int'resting." The second part of her statement wasn't necessarily related to the first part. Another student, too perverse to consider that, couldn't help but stop near Amy. A rather meaningful grin was present across his lips. He was tall, and happened to be on the basketball team. Also, not quite fazed by the sight of a demon. Mostly since he just saw an easy girl with an inviting form.

"Oh, I'll happily show you a nice place for that." Not quite nicely, he took her by the arm.

"Thanks! I really need it." Although slowly, she began to walk with him.

"So, what makes it so interesting? You have two of them?" He wondered.

"Two of what?" Gradually drifting away from the front door, the demon naively asked. Good thing she had someone who was supposed to protect her against malicious intentions. Didn't she?

Clearly it seemed like she had realised that he was frightened of her. Of course it was always going to be impossible for him to hide such a thing but that didn't mean he would simply accept it for what it was or, even less so, admit to it. Her logic was flawed in just about every was imaginable, his blood boiling as she just decided she could get to order him around and called him 'her human.' As he tried calming himself down before responding, he found his eyes following her movements, almost a hypnotic swaying of her body now causing her chest to bounce. Although he didn't notice it, his body was reacting to the sight, his mouth drying up somewhat and his lower regions reacting to her.

It was her feeble attempt at scaring him once more, lowering her eyebrows as she threatened him with eternal pain and suffering. Perhaps under different circumstances it may have worked but after witnessing her swaying desperately from side to side while holding back the urge to pee, her threat seemed empty. He wasn't wrong as her position quickly changed, her hands now between her legs, causing him to blush as she attempted to make some sort of deal, boldly asking him for a place to drop her pants and promising to show him something interesting in return. Without a doubt his mind first raced to a dirty place, one which had a rush of hormones shooting through his body.

Fortunately another student interrupted, having heard her words and interpreting them much as Kevin had done. It gave him the moment of clarity he needed to recompose himself and interrupt the two as the other boy dragged her along to fulfil some naughty image he'd worked up in his mind. Kevin stretched his arm out, grabbing the back of the demoness' top and pulling on it. "Hold on there." He sighed. "She needs a place to pee." He said sternly to the other boy. "Don't be such a pervert and get to class."

The boy had clearly not been happy with Kevin's words, snarling at him before he went off, Kevin turning to Amy. "And you... Can't go saying things like that. People will misinterpret them. Now let's get things straight. I am not 'your human,' I am not afraid of you and I will not show you to the toilets until you ask appropriately using your manners. I don't care where you come from or if they don't know the first thing about manners in your barbaric culture, you're now in human society and you will ask for things. You don't give orders."

Human or not, the promise of leading a decently attractive gal—a rather unique one at that—to somewhere preferably private and letting her lower her pants sounded infinitely more enticing than attending a boring class. And some humans were lowly enough to think they could do whatever they wanted. Unaware of this opportunist's hardly innocent intentions, Amy didn't resist being pulled around by the student. "Well, I have two horns." When her new human-friend pulled on the collar of her T-shirt, she was busy counting her horns. "One. And tw-huh?" It did stop her though, as Kevin seemed to insist that he should be the one who showed her where the toilets were. Though, without actually showing her, it seemed.

Bashfulness was a rather rare trait to have for a demon. Thus, she incorrectly assumed that the boy sported a rather flushed face because he was quite angry, although she was not quite sure what she must have done to irritate him this much. Amber eyes briefly watched the perverted student walk away, ignorant of the fact that he had just wanted make this already bouncy demon bounce on his lap as well. Or in some other position, for that matter. If her human was saying that cocky guy couldn't be trusted, it had to be correct, though. So, Amy didn't attempt to pursue his so-called help.

"Who is it then?" For a moment, she managed to stop wriggling about. "Who's my human? I need one. For many reasons." With that, the demon began to move restlessly again. Her people had warned her that there were humans who also liked tormenting others, only by different means. Different to the way demons tended to do it. And Kevin hadn't even needed to touch her to make her squirm. So crafty, these humans were. "I used my manners!" Amy argued. "Respected your fear. And even offered you a reward for your services. What else?" Those lavatories had better be a splendid place, if it was such a struggle to pay them an obligatory visit.

Or perhaps it actually wasn't that difficult. If all she had to do was indeed ask. "Where, is, the, toilet?" Amy humoured the boy's simple request, nodding with each word. Her little red hands were kept on her crotch, as she felt the need to press them against her body. Her tail and bum swayed in opposite directions. "O-oh! You need to explain how I should do it on the way!" Taking her grumpy companion by his hand, which felt cooler than hers, Amy tugged at his arm intently. As a demon, sometimes, she could be incredibly persuasive. With her free hand, she sharply opened the front door. The sound of the slammed door breezed across the empty hall. "Fast'ly friend Kevin!" Since he didn't enjoy being called a human, she found a new way to address the young man. "Fast'ly!"

Her human. Those words again. Judging by what she said, it seemed important to her to 'have a human' though he didn't quite understand why. What he did know is that he was far from that, he was not her human, he was not anyone's human, he was A human. For a moment it had seemed that she'd stopped her restlessness but this was quickly picked up once more, her hand once again stuffed between her legs as she began to complain, convinced that she had used her manners. Thought she clearly seemed misled as to what manners went, as he listened he did begin to comprehend that she may not have been entirely wrong. Though it wasn't manners by a human standard, it did seem she had attempted to use them but simply didn't know how.

Kevin sighed, accepting the situation for what it was, a small smile appearing on his face as he truly saw her make an effort when she asked where the toilet was. "That's be-" Unfortunately as he was about to reply and explain to her, her hand darted out from between her legs and grabbed onto his, his cheeks truly flushing red as he thought of where those hands had been only a moment sooner, feeling their warmth on his cold palms. She gave no time for him to argue either as she began to hurry towards the building, Kevin dragged along with her.

"H-Hold on, you're going to fast you shouldn't-" It seemed like no use to ask her to stop, the two rushing into the large building, door opening wide. "L-left, go left." He managed to say just as they avoided hitting a pair of students that had not been far from the door. She was at least calling him by his name now although his mind was too busy with her previous words to care enough about that. "I-I don't know how.. It's different for me. Last door at the end of the hall. Be careful, don't run so fast!" He tried to reason with her once more to no avail as the demon flew down the corridor. "I'm a guy, it's different. You'll have to figure it out- There!" He tried to point with his other hand at the door labelled 'Ladies.' "That's the door. I can't go in with you s-stop!"

Ignoring the human's advice to go slower, which she really had to at that point, Amy kept racing down the hall. Otherwise, it wouldn't have mattered whether Kevin finally agreed to show her the way or not. "I can't!" The demon simply refused to slow down, the pointy end of her tail becoming a health hazard. Good thing there weren't many students around. The directions her human-friend gave along the way were rather basic and clear. And it surely helped. Since she was more used to open spaces, large buildings such as this one were confusing to navigate for her. With the young man's help though, Amy managed to arrive at the destination without any accident. When she did, the energetic demoness finally stopped, letting go of the hand she was holding on to quite firmly.

"Thanks!" Despite the apparent urgency of the situation, Amy faced her friend. It was a funny concept for her, that the toilets were separated by gender. Things being a little different for guys, as he put it, was not, however. It was no secret that demons and humans had different anatomies. It wasn't that different, though. "I know that." A crimson index finger rose, but pointed down, at a particular bump her friend had down there. "We're not that different you know." Amy suggested. "Well, we are. But not because I'm a demon." Apart from a tail, and the colour, he wouldn't have seen something he didn't expect if she had undressed. The opposite should be true as well.

For the following part, she indeed didn't need his help. So, there was no need to drag him inside. Sharply turning around, the demon glanced across the doors before her, swiftly inspecting the signs before looking down at herself. "Ladies in trousers, right." She ran into the respective room. And in record time, the young monster barged into a stall. Not a vacant one as she soon realised.

"Hey!" A surprised, and annoyed, male voice came from inside.

"Sorry!" As fast as she opened it, Amy closed the door. "Didn't see anything." She tried the next one, which was gladly unoccupied this time. "Anything significant anyway…"

As he hurriedly exited the room, the student whom just came out was still busy fastening his trousers. For the most part, his words mirrored the demon's as he walked past Kevin. "You didn't hear anything!" Grumbling, he left the scene.

Once relieved, Amy looked calmer while washing her hands. At the washbasin, she looked in the mirror in front of her. "Where is she?" Amy talked to herself. For her, it wasn't quite mysterious not to see her reflection in there. Mirrors worked differently for her kind. They were windows to her soul, and showed her current mood rather than a mirrored image of herself. In fact, it was that "something interesting" she had promised to show him. Well, it wasn't quite interesting when her mirror-self was absent. "Where are you? I promised." Amy tapped her finger on the mirror. And soon enough, a girl, or she rather, showed up. Since Amy was in a good mood, her image in the mirror was dancing, sometimes disappearing when she moved past the boundaries of the mirror. "Kevin!" The demon invited him in. "Come here. I've found her."

For someone in such a rush just moments earlier, the demon took her time to explain the key differences in their anatomy before deciding to enter the toilets, his eyes averting hers as she pointed to the area down between his legs as she mentioned they weren't that different. The truth was he had never stopped to wonder just how different demons and humans were, he had never really cared enough to question their anatomy or any other aspect of their lives. All he needed to know was the past, what he'd witnessed and, if it came down to it, how to kill one. He may have been a somewhat shy guy, perhaps labelled as an introvert at times but he was by no means a pushover, not anymore. Ever since that night he'd worked hard, he'd learned how to defend himself.. Especially against demons.

His arm stretched out as Amy confidently strutted through the wrong door, confidently saying "ladies in trousers" as she did. "N-Not-" It was too late, she had already barged in and he could hear the voice of a male student as she clearly entered an occupied stall. Moments later the guy hurried out of the toilet, grumbling on his way out. Fortunately Amy was not around as the guy's reaction did cause Kevin to chuckle lightly at his flustered reaction. He would have likely reacted the same way, but seeing another person in that situation was somewhat refreshing.

A sigh escaped the boy as he waited outside the toilet. The day had hardly began and already he had found himself in such a terrible situation. His heart was beating far more rapidly than usual, the fear response still going on, even if he did manage to suppress it on the outside. So far Amy seemed harmless, she seemed like mostly any other girl in school, albeit a little different due to their culture and upbringing, but for the most part she seemed fairly alike. Then there was also her body.. Though he would never accept it, he clearly found himself physically attracted to her, even if it was mostly at an unconscious level. Still, she was a demon, she was the enemy and as such, his mind could not come to terms with it, the flight response in him was strong.

As he got lost in his thoughts, he heard her voice calling from inside the toilets. Another sigh escaped him as he decided he'd indulge her, seeing as she had entered the men's room anyway. Hesitantly, he walked inside, wondering exactly what it seemed she had found. "What is it now?" He asked before stopping in his tracks as he caught sight of something moving in the mirror. It was her, Amy, but.. it wasn't her? He could see the demon standing just a couple of meters away from him, immobile, but her reflection.. It was anything but still. "Wh-what is that? Why is it- Why are you- What?"

As suspected, the whimsical way the mirrors worked for demons was enough to make her human friend's jaw drop. What Kevin witnessed in awe was awfully usual for the red-skinned girl. They were magical creatures, after all. And not everything about them could be explained by common sense or logic. Humans questioned things a lot. Abundantly so, really. And when they failed to find sensible answers to their questions, they were either scared or amazed, which Amy found rather cute. Otherwise, was seeing her reflection do stuff in the mirror was really that different to watching TV? Accordingly, Amy couldn't quite get why he was so shocked by that as he belonged in a civilization that had managed to put people in flat little boxes. However, she was also glad that he was. When confused, her human looked rather adorable, after all.

After a long giggle, she tried to answer the human's inquiry. "It's just how it is!" Not quite a satisfying answer, and she didn't know why mirrors did that, or how for that matter, but that had never bothered her. "They say it's our souls. Expressing how we feel." The demon elaborated on, the soul in question skipping back and forth behind the boy's traditional reflection. "She doesn't always cooperate, though." Looking back over her shoulder, she continued. "Like you." Amy suggested. Her hands were still in the process of drying, steaming like a pair of freshly poured cups of coffee.

In the mirror, "Amy" eventually stopped behind the confused young man. Her chin perched on Kevin's shoulder, as she hugged him from behind. Of course, he wouldn't feel anything. And it would be similar to watching a film. One he had never filmed. It meant she liked this human, though. Which was no secret. Well, she had no reason to hate him.

"See?" Facing ahead again, her eyes met her friend's through the mirror. "Since I like you, she's getting cuddly like that." One index finger beckoned her closer. And the reflection complied, stepping towards her, which allowed Amy to check her hair. For a little demonstration how convenient this was, she spoke to herself again. "And the back?" Her reflection spun around. And Amy could verify that her high ponytail looked tidy from behind. That wasn't the only thing she could see about herself. As her eyes drifted down, Amy saw that she was a bit wider than she had thought. Around the hips, rather. "Hm, I need to exercise more." The demon nodded, which made her mirror-self turn around, brows knitted and lips forming an O that silently expressed "how could you say that?"

Instead of admiring herself, the demon—the real one—turned around to face her friend. "Don't you think so, Kevin?" Both of them were looking at him, Amy in the background shaking her head to convey what she wanted to hear. Across the hem, she gathered the front side of her top in her little hands, "Shouldn't I get a bit thin'ly?" tying both ends to give herself a crop-top.

The situation was hard enough for someone to assimilate, even more so without prior warning. Amazed and confused by the movement of her reflection in the mirror, he only just about heard her words as she attempted to explain it to him. Souls. His mind lingered onto that word. Many believed that mirrors were more than just a tool with our reflection, many believed they were a door to our souls, the concept therefore didn't sound entirely crazy, but still, seeing such a sight, seeing a reflection move of its own accord, with a willpower of its own even to not cooperate with the original person - or demon.. It was incredible.

Kevin's awe however quickly seized as the mirrored version of the demon stopped behind him, perching her chin on his shoulder. Although he didn't physically feel it, he still jumped, turning to face her, forgetting for a moment that it was nothing more than a reflection. Of course the result was that he was facing one of the stalls and not an actual being behind him, a sigh escaping him as he realised, well aware of the amusement it would probably cause for the red-skinned demon at his side.

Turning back to face the mirror, he watched as the two girls interacted as Amy ushered her reflection closer, asking it to turn without her turning herself. It was certainly a practical way to truly view oneself in the mirror at the very least. Soon enough however his viewing was interrupted as the attention returned to him once again, the pair clearly expecting him to answer something which he most certainly had no interest in answering. His eyes moved from one to the other, pausing on Amy as she tied the ends of her top, exposing more of her skin while also, probably inadvertently, further accentuating her generous chest.

With a blush on his face the boy turned his face slightly, avoiding eye contact. "That's.. Not for me to decide. I couldn't care less." He finally scoffed, trying his best to avoid answering one way or the other, aware it was a losing battle no matter what. If he said otherwise, she might have though he found her attractive, if he agreed, she could have taken it badly. "We should get to class."

Apart from the orientation of the reflection, which was facing the wrong direction in this case, the mirror seemed to have started to work normally. Amy in the mirror mimicked the demon's gestures and moves. Crossing her arms across her gifted bust, she observed her new friend's supposed disinterest in her looks. As her tail stayed idle in the air, her head alternated between leaning to one side and the other. Since the young man didn't reveal the reason he preferred not to talk about her demon-bum, she had to come up with her own conclusions regarding why that might be the case.

"Oh, is it rude to judge others on their appearances among humans?" The demoness wondered. Of course, she was hoping to get a certain response to her little question. On the other hand, since she didn't exactly know whether humans favoured wide or small butts, or if it varied, she wouldn't have been upset no matter what he might have expressed. Perhaps only a bit salty. "Then you've been rude'ly multiple times today friend Kevin!" Amy announced, her image in the background shaking her finger at the boy. "For gawking at my chest like that." Stealing such glances at her body would be considered casually paid compliment for her. Apparently though, things were different here.

In this diplomatic mission of hers, the demon was encouraged to satisfy her curiosity about various topics. "New question!" The demon exclaimed. Since she was thinking about a particular violation of privacy she had accidentally committed before Kevin's arrival, her reflection entered one of the stalls. Perhaps it wasn't her own generousness what she should be questioning. "Are all of you humans that small?" Wearing her inquisitive expression, Amy squinted at her friend. Her tail rose above her shoulder, the tip bending to point at his crotch.

Her so-called soul exited the stall in the mirror, doing a pinching gesture. The gap between her thumb and index finger was hardly impressive. Gingerly, Amy moved one step closer towards him. "Would you let me check?" Hopping once, she repeated. "Would you?"

The question on whether it was rude amongst humans to judge others based on appearance brought along several questions to Kevin's mind. The fact that the girl was asking such a thing led him to believe that in the demonic community it may have been natural to judge others based on their appearances and, if so, it almost made him wonder what features it is they found to be positive. If not for his deep despise of the demon race, he may have found it an interesting subject to consider. Either way, he wasn't given too much time to ponder on it as the demoness accused him of being rude.

Kevin was about to snap back at her accusation when instead, his face went a deep shade of red as she continued speaking. Of course as she accused him of staring at her chest, his eyes inevitably wondered towards it once more before looking away in shame. He had been caught, quite badly so, and, what was worse, she was right. He despised demons and their entire existence and yet it was true that he had been gawking at her chest, aroused by it, just as he was starting to be once more.

"I.. I never-" He began to reply, trying to think of an excuse, a reason, an explanation to a misunderstanding on her part, but once more, he was unable to get his word in before she seemingly jumped onto the next subject. Along with the profoundly embarrassing question that she went on to ask, was the issue of her tail, shamelessly pointing at the area down between his legs.

If the situation wasn't already embarrassing enough, it now seemed almost like she was making fun of him, accusing him of having a small penis. Of course he didn't stop to consider she wasn't strictly referring to him but to the person in the stall earlier. Not only that but she was now asking to see it? How could she ask such a thing so naturally? So casually? "S-Small?" Were demons bigger? He began to wonder. "I' m not.. It's not.." Words seems to escape him, his mind actually considering her request as some feeble attempt to protect his masculinity, his pride, yet too embarrassed to do such a thing, especially with a demon.

"That's not.. It's not so easy. I'm.. You're a demon. A girl demon. It's not... Right."

There must be exceptions of course, but on a human scale, males of her race would be considered big, bigger, and have-mercy. Since they were bestowed a longer life-span, the nature had made her kind harder to fertilise to prevent overpopulation. In return, demons were evolved to sport heftier tools, so to speak. And they tended to be hornier too. That was the theory, at least.

It was once again proved that even the simplest questions could make her human sweat. Unfortunately, she was a curious gal, who wished to learn as much as she could about this world. About these lands of bashfulness as it seemed. To accompany said question, she could have also suggested that she could, in fact, make any guy grow larger down there. Given that her friend had started to look redder than her though, she elected not to.

During the short time they spent together, it appeared that Kevin had made a welcome habit of eyeing her admittedly distracting bust. When the same boy who had claimed that he had no business looking at a demon's butt did stare at her chest again, Amy was quick to call him out on it. "You did it again!" Apart from the unintentional compliments paid to her breasts, he didn't seem quite zealous about elaborating on his grandness, or smallness.

"I am a girl, yeah." The demon nodded, although unable to make out why that might pose a problem for her new friend. "And?" Unlike him, she wouldn't shy away from showing him either. "Ooh… I see!" With an idea dawning on her, she snapped her fingers. "You prefer boys!" Some demons too favoured such relationships. Thus, it was hardly a taboo for Amy. "I'm sorry friend Kevin. I can't help you with that." If her suspicions were correct, she indeed didn't possess the body part that would make him a happier guy. "But we're just friends, anyway." And if women indeed didn't quite tickle his fancy, and he still had a somewhat noticeable bump over his trousers despite that, that kind of answered Amy's little question, which meant they could finally exit the toilet.

While the demon commenced walking away, her reflection stayed in the mirror for a bit longer. Idly standing there, squinting at the young man with thoughtful eyes. Humming, Amy exited the room. "Hurry friend Kevin, I want to see my classroom." While looking back over her shoulder, she failed to notice the girl standing in front of her, inevitably bumping into her, chest-first. The student didn't mind the collision. She was standing there to block the demon's path anyway.

"Friend… Kevin… How unexpected." In a rather meaningful tone, Penny repeated, who shared the young man's strong dislike for demons. When it was announced that their school would be hosting one, she had begun to form a small student group against demons. A week prior, she had asked Kevin to join said organisation as well. Her fiery red strands subtly swayed behind the girl as she offered her gloved hand to Amy. "Hi." The charming face before the demon greeted her. A handshake later, Penny continued. "May I take a photo of you, little demon?" The redhead asked.

"Sure!" It fascinated Amy greatly that humans could capture images so easily. So, she had to say yes. "What do I need to do?" The cheery demon beamed.

A phone in a flamboyant case soon was pointed at Amy. "Perfect." Penny took a couple of pictures of her. It was going to be used for posters and banners, that were hateful in nature. Given the context, the photos didn't have to be pretty.

"Can I see it?" The demon asked. "Can I?!"

"You would." With her usual soothing voice, the girl replied. "Everywhere. Soon." Chilling steely eyes found Kevin then. "A moment, please?" Penny demanded of him, striding in the opposite direction the demon had to go to find her classroom. As a fairly assertive girl quite high on the list of popularity, she didn't take it lightly whenever someone refused her.

A slight scowl in his face appeared as she caught him eyeing here chest once more. It was an involuntary look, an automatic response. How could one not look when they were so.. big!? After all, he was a teenager, he was at that age. Not only was he increasingly curious about sex and girls, his body also reacted of its own accord when thinking of such things, even if the girl in question this time was a demon, a being he despised more than anything else in the world.

It seemed that her attention was soon elsewhere, moving away from his glances towards her chest and instead proceeding to accuse him of liking boys. Where had she even gotten such an idea from? Why would she think he liked boys? Was that really her first assumption? Not the fact that she was a demon? Or that it was inappropriate to talk about such things, far less while in the men's toilets where she should have never been. "N-No!" He called out as she began to make her way towards the exit. "I don't like boys. I like girls. I like girls I just don't like-" He stopped his sentence as she seemingly continued on her way, exiting the room and urging him to hurry behind her.

A big sigh escaped him as he followed on behind the red-skinned demon, realising the task ahead for the day was far greater than he'd expected. The girl would be a handful without a doubt. Things were about to take a turn for the worse in fact as Kevin heard a voice, raising his head as he left the toilets to see Penny standing just outside. "It's not what it looks like." He spat out quickly before the girl could make any judgements, well aware of what the situation may have seemed. The two shared a common hate for demons, she was one of the few friends he'd made, one of the few who knew his story.

His comment went unnoticed for a little longer it seemed as the red-haired student asked to take a picture of Amy. The demon gladly agreed to it, oblivious to exactly how those pictures would soon be used against her. A chill ran down his spine as Penny's eyes finally found his, demanding a moment of his time, a request he could hardly refuse. "Sure. Umm.. Don't go anywhere, I'll be right back." He said to the demon before following in the other direction with Penny.

"It's not what it looks like. She.. She ran into me, then the headmistress.. She decided I have to show her around. Me. Me out of all people! Me." He blurted out before the girl could make any accusations. "I.. She's a demon!"

From red skin to red head, the demon didn't mind the shift in attention the boy had. When everything was still pretty new to her, Amy couldn't have felt jealous about it. "Alright." She nodded behind him, not particularly suspicious or upset about anything. There was a small confusion, though. Kevin had made it clear that he wasn't quite fond of girls, but had opted to follow one so intently all the same. One didn't need to love someone to hold a conversation with, she supposed. "But human," her voice breezed through the two. "She's a girl!" Amy pointed out, which was quite obvious.

When they turned a corner, Penny haphazardly pushed him against the nearest wall. Although not physically imposing, she was quite a stubborn girl, whose menace came from things other than the prowess of her muscles. "No, Kevin." A smile that wasn't of innocence played on her lips. "That's good news!" She tapped her fist against the young man's shoulder. "Hadn't thought you had it in you, actually." In his misfortune, Penny saw an opportunity rather. "Already managed to infiltrate the enemy, I see." Letting out one of her sinisterly annoying laughs, she continued. "Good job." What have you discovered so far then?" With this racist mission of hers, the redhead didn't necessarily trust the boy, actually. Rather, it was his strong hatred of demons what the girl trusted.

The aforementioned enemy failed to resist the urges of her traits of impatience. Instead of waiting for her new friend, she elected to wander off. She was no longer in the hall that had the toilets. In a differently advanced modern world, she was a silly girl. Her intelligence was poorer compared to a human's, which made her susceptible to trickery and con. Navigating through the building had proved to be a challenge for the exchange student. Gladly, she came upon the school principal. Instead of tasking another student with something she herself had to do, this time the woman helped the girl find her classroom.

Somewhere upstairs where Penny insisted the boy reveal weaknesses he might have learnt about the demoness, Amy finally stood before her new classmates. Many new faces were ahead, as she glanced across them. They too looked at the girl standing in front of the whiteboard. Some students were understandably a bit concerned, while some were curious. And there were also people who didn't think much of it.

"It's actually Amurorren." The demoness continued to introduce herself. "Buy Amy is fine."

Amy's last comment brought a red hue to his face composed from a mixture of rage and embarrassment. He was about to protest about it when he remembered his current situation, soon turning a corner and being reminded of it as he found himself pinned up against a wall. Afraid of what would come next, now that they were alone, Kevin swallowed hard, avoiding eye contact with the fiery red-haired girl who had taken him away.

To the young man's surprise however, it was not rage or punishment that came his way, instead, it was praise. For the first time since he'd joined this opposition that Penny was leading, he'd received praise from her. Of course he knew she liked his hatred for the demon race but up until then he couldn't help but feel that it was all she was interested in. As was typical of her, she didn't waste any time either, quickly attempting to extract any information he may have learned from the demoness.

As intimidating as Penny was, Kevin had a bit of a crush on the girl. Being a boy his age, it hadn't taken much more than her expression of interest in him upon learning his story to have him get interested in her too. Normally he would have been far less forward about the situation but seeing as she seemed content with his work, he thought it the perfect time to make his move. The redhead wanted information on Amy, information which he was glad to give her. In exchange however, maybe he could get something out of it. "R-right.. Well, maybe we could.. Umm.. Go for a smoothy after school? I could tell you everything there? Sort of like um.. A.." As he tried to get the word out, he breathed deeply, relaxing himself. "A... D-date. "
