Funny humans. Indeed quite interesting creatures. Silly, funny, and rather varied. Meeting one hardly meant one could accurately predict how the next one might be. Compared to fellow demons, they surely were diverse. Regarding how they looked, behaved, and felt, they differed greatly. It was a fascinating fact, which made those funny humans quite difficult to study; hence, demons were sent to their little realm to experience them, instead of learning them from a textbook. To, of course, ensure that the unfortunate enslavement and fiery doom of humankind would be carried out with ease and without complications when the time of great demon invasion eventually would come! Well, not really, but it was always nice to know more about their interdimensional neighbours.
The small town of Chinoomoor couldn't be considered the most exciting place for a human, or for a demon, to live. Still, it was where the Foreign and Development Office had ended up positioning Amy on earth, as a demonic exchange student of sorts. Whether painfully dull or alluringly adventurous, she was awfully curious to explore this new world, quite eager to make friends. An inviting air of friendliness almost always surrounded her. In fact, her endearing nature was the main reason she was selected for this amalgamation program. Otherwise, she wasn't a demon with an exceptional physical or magical prowess, but just a curious young woman.
Given her distinct traits, it was pretty much impossible for Amy to blend in with the townsfolk. She didn't try to, either. Being special: it was a feeling she adored greatly. In a way, part of her arrogant nature was encoded in her genes, while the rest came with her personality, and couldn't necessarily be excused for being a demon. Her red skin made her stand out. So did her pointy tail. That lively tail rarely stayed still, matching its expressive owner's bubbly traits.
Right behind the gym, and inside the small shed, which sunlight had trouble bleeding into, a pair of bright amber eyes glowed unnaturally. She was ready to dart out, and prey on an unknowing victim. A geeky looking student ended up being that so-called victim. As the boy walked past the doorless bicycle shed, Amy reached out in a red blur, swiping him into the small building. A gasp of fear and shock followed suit, as the demoness was quick to push him up against the wooden wall. And haunt him with her golden eyes, her tail idly swaying from side to side at the back.
"Oh, you scared me…" The young gentleman huffed. Only to let out a chuckle afterwards. The little menace who had pulled him inside hardly looked frightening, after all. "You must be the new exchange student." With an index finger, he pushed his spectacles up his nose. The school administration had already informed the students about their guest. Thus, he wasn't quite surprised to see a demon.
"I am!" A couple of times, Amy sprang up and down, "I am! I AM!" seemingly quite excited to be recognised. She loved attention, and it showed. "I'm the new student!" Along with some quick nods, a soft giggle breezed through the student.
"What are you doing here, though?" Her new friend asked. Indeed, she was supposed to be in the classroom she was assigned to.
"Some guy I met told me I should come here sometime?" Clearly, this rather small, intimate, shady shed was hardly the right place to commence her little adventure at her new school.
"Huh?" As his eyes adjusted to the dimness of the room, he had a better look at the demoness. The yellow T-shirt she wore complemented her unearthly eyes. Young horns pierced through her brown locks, looking as pointy as her ears. A purple pair of leggings hugged her hips quite well, accenting the alluring contour of her lower body. And apparently, it also encouraged some perverse quips about having her in a dark shed. "Oh no." Raising a hand, the student pointed at the main building through the doorway. "That's where you need to be."
"Oh…" A dexterous red tail rose and darted to the side, extending in the same direction as his finger. "There?" With a smile abundantly wide, she asked. "Thanks! You smell nice." With that, Amy dashed out of that small shed. Running past the gym, she was almost at the front door of the main building, which of course housed all of the classrooms, including hers. However, something, or someone rather, hindered her hurried approach to the building, as she bumped into another student. Quite swiftly, in fact. Enough to make her lose her footing and fell on her demon-butt. "Uuh..." Currently, she was unaware that this particular student whom she knocked against was going to end up being quite a special person for her. "Where did you come from?!"
