Retha groaned and rolled over smacking her alarm as it went off at 4:30 in the morning. Retha got up and changed from her pajamas in to a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Knowing that she would be scolded if she didn't put a sweat shirt on to cover her figure Retha grabbed a blood red one out of her closet and then went and pulled her waist length strawberry blonde hair up in to a messy bun. At 18 Retha was the youngest senior in her collage course and once she finished this final exam she would be done with her education as she was due to graduate in a few weeks time. Retha then snagged her pencil case and headed out stopping long enough to let the head maid know that she was leaving for her exam and when she would be due back. Retha knew she would be back in time to shower and change for her shift in the masters office as his secretary
Retha had lived and worked for the male for twelve years since she had been sold to him when she was six. Her father had owed the male a significant amount of money from gambling and had sold her to pay it off. The main thing that caught everyones attention was a simple mutation which caused her eyes to be purple instead of a normal color like blue, brown or green. The first time she had met her new master was when he had come and picked her up from school, at first she hadn't believed that her father had sold her and had refused to get in to the mans car but when he showed her the video of him selling her she cried and then climbed in slapping away at the hands that tried to help her in. Since that day she had worked hard and studied hard and had graduated high school at 14 and was now getting ready to finish collage.
Retha looked at the date as she got in to the waiting car and then guards that went every where with her and realized that not only was it her last day of class but also her 18th birthday which marked her as an official adult. Retha greeted her guards once the door was shut and then sat back while they drove to the university as her exam started at six and she had two hours to complete the exam. It took her thirty minutes to reach her school and two hours after she walked in to the class room she walked out and went back to the waiting car which returned her to the place she called home. Racing up to her room Retha showers and changed in to her work clothes and then headed to the outer office and went to work on answering calls for her master and letting him know when his appointments arrived.
