Abbey sat back in the teal velvet seat of her flying carriage as it flew well above the canopy of the tall trees of Deepwood Forest. It had been a few hours since her trip had begun, but judging by how the magical flying carriage was beginning to descend, she knew that her arrival at Deepwood Academy was close.
Abbey had tried her best to keep her mind occupied during the whole trip, but as she realized how close she was getting, she became fidgety and nervous. Was this the right decision? She was top of her graduating class at the Beauxbaton Magic Academy, she could have chosen any career path, but here she was, getting ready to join the ranks of the Witches of the Order, the very first magic academy of it's kind in the wizarding world, where humans and Ectoplasts lived and studied natural magic side-by-side...
Ectoplasts... These used to be the enemies of wizards and witches less than 6 years ago, during the last great war with the demons. The Ectoplasts, these slimy creatures from another plane, had proven incredibly effective at subduing witches with their incredibly potent aphrodisiac slime. The Ectoplasts' voracious need to copulate coupled with their alien slime would cause millions of witches had been rendered magically barren, unable to birth magically inclined children. And this was the demon's agenda, to effectively drive the wizarding world to extinction by attacking the witches. Once the wizards and witches were gone, no one would be able to defend the two realms of Earth against the demons and they would be able to overtake both the mundane world as well as the magical world unopposed...
But the demons' gambit had failed as several witches from the Ministry of Magic had discovered that the Ectoplasts were in fact being controlled by the demons, were in fact just as much victims of the demons as the witches were. After years of painstaking work, a small group at the Ministry of Magic had managed to rescue hundreds and hundreds of Ectoplasts from the curse fogging their minds and driving then mad with the need to copulate with witches. It would take a couple more years for the Ectoplasts to align themselves with the wizarding world and one more for the Deepwood Academy of Natural magic to be created.
It turns our that Ectoplasts are sentient creatures, capable of thought, of love, of laughter, of poetry, of beauty, etc... But more than anything, Ectoplasts were capable of casting magic without wands and staffs, something the wizarding world had never seen before. So the Deepwood Academy of Natural Magic was born, a collaboration between humans and Ectoplasts, where young Ectoplasts and recently graduated witches would study natural magic together, and Abbey was one of the newest candidate.
Ordinately, she would have arrived together with the other new recruits on the magical steam train, but her addition to the roster of new recruits was very last minute, so here she was, arriving by magical carriage at the academy, a least 30 minutes before the train was supposed to arrive.
As the carriage landed, she would be greeted by a witch who was dressed head to toe in tight shiny latex, every square inch of her body encased in latex except for her face.
"Welcome to Deepwood, you must be Miss Chase" she said with a smile as Abbey stepped off the carriage, still reading her reading glasses and her casual clothes.
Abbey was, by no stretch of the imagination, a drop dead gorgeous young witch, 5 months away from her 19th birthday. Standing at 5'9", she was relatively tall compared to many witches, her statuesque body, perfect large perky breasts, long legs and the face of an angel usually drawing the attention of everyone around.
"Hi" said Abbey as her eyes nervously examined the witch wearing latex. She knew this would be her soon, seeing that all humans at the Deepwood Academy of Natural Magic had to wear protective latex outfits to protect them against the naturally occurring slime of the Ectoplasts. Abbey had a shoulder purse with her, and no other bags, since all candidates were told to leave personal items behind, that everything would be provided to them at the academy.
