The bat flicked its head, hanging from one of the larger branches. It glanced around for a moment, as if looking for something, then shifted, giving a slight noise before an expertly-shot arrow lodged in its neck and took it down.
The night elf crept quietly from his position, the spotted mistsaber at her master's heels and just as silent. Dalithis nodded at the bat, glad he had struck it first - had the creature saw him, it would have given away his position.
Shathus growled softly, the hunter glancing behind him. A group of Blood Elves had been following him, aware of something in their lands, but not quite sure of what it was. Dalithis had, so far, managed to avoid being seen, and intended to remain so hidden. He nodded at the large cat, both slipping quickly into the forests once more.
Dalithis Snowfang had not been entirely happy about this mission, however critical it was. He knew that the druids needed the orders, and that the Alliance couldn't risk sending another ship - therefore, the hunter got the short end of the stick.
Hearing a note of alarm from the ones that had been following him, Dalithis murmured softly to Shathus, stepping up the pace. He could see the island, now, and was relieved that the goal was so close.
"Let's hurry," he told the mistsaber, breaking into a run with the creature close at his heels.
