Hey guys, I'm back on the hunt for a strong writer and collaborator with similar tastes. We all know how hard it can be to find perfect partners--nothing is perfect in life, after all--but the worst thing that can happen is that I don't find a good partner, which was the status quo anyway. In short, I'm looking to build a story and world full of complicated characters, a fun plot, and plenty of fun drama. To put it even shorter, I'm looking to write something with retro vibes and hot guys.
Before we get into the aforementioned "retro vibes and hot guys," I'll lay out what I'm hoping to find in a partner:

If you've read this far, I appreciate that. I wrote this on a whim at 2 in the morning and it's very much a work in progress, but if you're interested in trying to plot something out, feel free to send me a message!
Before we get into the aforementioned "retro vibes and hot guys," I'll lay out what I'm hoping to find in a partner:
- First and foremost, I want to find someone who writes in what people in the so-called literary style, meaning third person and past tense.
- In a similar vein, I want someone who knows how to write. Good spelling and grammar, varied word choice. All that boring stuff. Never expecting perfection
though.
- I only like to write in Discord or, if necessary, in PMs. Prefer that my partner feels the same way about that.
- My ideal partner is passionate about plotting, character building, and worldbuilding. They're active participants in the creation and telling of the story, offering
up new ideas or telling me if they don't like my ideas. My ideal partner is a "yes, and" or a "no, but" sort of collaborator.
- I like to talk OOC even after we've plotted out the story, even if just to share a funny meme or a song that feels relevant to the story or whatever. Prefer partners that see RP as a way to potentially make friends.
- My ideal partner likes to read all the way through these ads! They'll say their favorite color is "florgenberry" somewhere in the message they send me!
- Creativity is key. RP should be a collaborative meeting of the minds where both parties throw shit in and we see what sort of unique mess comes of it.
- Ideally my perfect partner shares most or all of my kinks and loves to write a good smut scene or twelve--more on that later. Ideally they also play switch/vers.

- I don't take myself too seriously. We do this to have fun, don't we?
- I love to hear what ideas other people have so I can try and create something we both love. I consider myself a talented writer and all, but if I only wanted to
read about my own ideas in my own voice I would just start writing by myself, for myself.

I've always loved the aesthetics and culture of decades past--especially in the time period from about World War I through the mid-70s. Don't care for the 80s through the 2010s, personally. The music, clothing, and the general vibes of these time periods are so different and yet just familiar enough that they're not alien. It's easy to laugh at some of the aesthetic choices they made, and I certainly wouldn't want to dress like a hippy now or anything, but people like fantasy aesthetics without wanting to dress up in full armor all day, right? Same deal. The politics, different levels of technology, and social dynamics of these time periods also lend themselves to all sorts of different plots that wouldn't work in the modern day. Somethingsomething, cell phones ruin everything.
It's also true that the way men dressed and acted in those time periods is different, and different in a way that I personally enjoy. I love the old school "masculine" thing, always have. Whether it's the short-shorts masculinity of the 70s or the classic whiskey-guzzling 50s father or the suited up, Prohibition-breaking men of the Roaring 20s, I can always find something to like that I don't really see in modern day RP.
I'm looking to build a plot either set in an actual historical setting or to build a setting heavily inspired by these historical aesthetics. There are millions of different ways to go here, obviously, so I'm looking forward to seeing what we can figure out.
And for the hot guys, I'll just be upfront and say that if you really love playing twinks or femboys, or really any character that could possibly by read as feminine or androgynous, we will almost certainly not click. I know those are popular character types around here, and that's fine, but I personally get nothing out of that archetype, and I don't want to play against writers that only play bottoms/subs.

The main kink I'm looking to incorporate here is the incest, especially the father/son angle. I can be talked into playing different pairings that aren't related to incest at all, but that's the one I'm always looking for if I can help it. If you have a plot idea you want to pitch to me in that area, or just a plot in general, let me hear it. I have plots of my own, but I'd like to hear yours first.
