Sakura Kinai was as happy as a Grumpig in mud. She and her twin sister, Sunako, were out in the field, less than a day by foot from Jubilife Village. The two of them had been assigned a mission by the Galaxy Expedition Team, to survey a rapid increase in wild Shinx numbers in the area. Sakura enjoyed the work, finding it calming and peaceful. Plus, Shinx were unbearably cute little cat Pokemon, and that was always a positive to the slightly older twin. She knew, though, that Sunako was brooding, wondering why Lieutenants of the GET, were being sent on what she basically considered grunt work.

Sakura had personally counted and tagged over fifty Shinx since they had left on their mission, and she knew Sunako, despite her grumbling, had managed about the same, maybe more. While Sakura was the more down-to-earth, earnest of the two twins, Sunako made everything, even things she hated doing, seem effortless. It was a little embarrassing, and even humiliating, for Sakura, who was more hard-working but still struggled. She didn't mind, though. The older Kinai twin worshipped her younger sister, something Sunako took every opportunity to encourage.

The young trainer's Quilava, Blaize, nuzzled into his owner's cheek, looking up at her lovingly.
"Quil, quil, quilava!" The pokemon cried, it's voice soft. Smiling, Sakura reached down a hand, lightly patting the Fire-type Pokemon's head. "Hey, Blaize... It looks like today is going to be another busy day, huh?" She said, slowly sitting up in her bedroll. She and Sunako always left their starter Pokemon out when they were camping in the wilds, to act as guards in case aggressive wild Pokemon wandered into their campsite.

Slowly unzipping her roll, she got to her feet, dressed only in a negligee with a cherry blossom theme. Sakura was a girl, through and through, and liked to feel as pretty as possible, even out in the field. Unfortunately, that was only really possible at night, when she and Sunako were taking a load off. Glancing over at Sunako's bedroll, she wasn't surprised to see that her sister had already risen. She wondered briefly where she was, before moving over to the campfire. Blaize had kept the fire stoked and hot through the night, as was her habit, and Sakura was gratified to see that Sunako had put some damper on in the camp oven, and even had the camp kettle boiling. At times like this, she had to appreciate her sister... Even if Sakura knew, deep down, she was being manipulated to rely on and need her more and more.

Gingerly taking the foil wrapped damper out of the oven, she juggled them, the bundles too hot for her hands. Placing them on the waiting plates, she undid them, and broke them open. She grabbed the butter, and spread it on, before leaving it to melt into the bread while she made tea. She knew by the time she was nearly done, Sunako would likely be back. So as she finished stirring the long-life milk into the teas, she sat on one of the little logs they had placed by the fire to wait.
