So the story sets our characters in one of three time periods: before, during, or after a major corporate war. We can even write through all three arcs if you're up for a little time skipping. Our characters can have any relationship to one another starting out, but I rather like a conflict trope like bounty hunter/mark, detective/criminal, etc.
Specifics can be hashed out before or during, I kind of like the open ended world the future offers with creative tech/gadgetry. The overall theme is pretty dark. The world is a gritty and war torn place, and regardless of who our characters are in it, they probably aren't having the best of times. I think this makes a strong catalyst for romance, which I do like as a major theme.
