Question No longer able to adjust alignment of images in posts separately from text?

So, in the past, when you inserted an image into a post you'd get a pop-up bar along the bottom of the image with additional options such as alignment. This meant that you could put a post to the left or right of text, forcing the text to orient itself around that image. Now that pop-up box no longer appears when inserting images which severely limits what you can do with formatting. Is this an intentional change? Or is there a coding issue somewhere?

I'll also light a candle in remembrance of the alignment box. As to the problem though, basically what retro said. Everything still works if you code it, including alt text, links, resizing and alignment.

Good to know the exact code for this forum but yeah, that is a bit of a pain in the long term. Plus, looking back on old posts of mine are all jacked-up too.
