Age: 19

Elizabeth, known as Beth to her friends, is a freshman and State University of New York. She's on the track and swim teams and is already one of the best athletes in the school. However, her main focus is academia, her heart set on becoming a scientific illustrator.

She's the youngest of five and as such, she has a fiery and competitive spirit. She can also be rather stubborn. Her family is very wealthy: her father is a judge and her mother is a professor of literature at a small upstate college. As such, Beth had the best education, including boarding school, and her parents even help her rent a two bedroom apartment close to campus. Her parents met in college and her mother is already pressuring her to find a relationship though Beth hasn't met any potential partners yet.

Brian James
Age: 22

Funny, charming, and determined, Brian is a senior at State University of New York in Buffalo. He's the star of the swim team and got a full ride scholarship to the school. He's won every one of his categories at the state championships the past two years. His scholarship requires he maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, so he focuses a good deal on his studies. But he put off a few core classes, and now has to take Biology 101 with the freshmen.

Brian lives with his girlfriend of four years in an apartment off campus. Between swim practice and school, he has no time for a job, so their place isn't great but it's home. They met in their freshman year together and are pretty serious. Plus the sex is great. But both of them have a tendency to let their eyes wander, so they have a pretty strict monogamous agreement.
