Travis Decker stumbled from the wreckage of his Humvee that was now attempting to occupy the same space as the trunk of a rather large tree unsuccessfully. Thankfully it's airbag had deployed and cushioned the impact. Something on the path had sent him barreling down a steep hill of course and in his current situation. From the looks of things, it wasn't going to get back on the path in it's current state and it would take a good while to get back to the base camp. It looked like he wasn't going anywhere for a while. Managing to get the trunk open he retrieved his pack which contained his basic survival needs and looked around for the nearest source of water.

Decker was an anthropology major who was studying this strange region. For the most part, like many of his expeditions it was pretty boring. Those who believed all of those Indiana Jones movies were wrong about 80% of the job. Sure you did have your occasional thief or encounters with traps left behind for those who might take what was there, but never once had he had to flee Nazis or a giant rolling boulder. It was mostly taking notes, collecting a few choice artifacts and that was it. The most dangerous thing so far on this trip had been the crash. Though his notes had found small traces of some sort of civilization which sort of bugged him since he hadn't seen any real spot on evidence of anything of that nature so far.

Decker could certainly pull off the Indiana Jones role, he was about average height with shoulder length brown hair, and having a background in martial arts was leanly built with enough muscle for practical strength and he didn't look bad in the mirror either though his track record with women was lackluster mainly due to his work kind of making id difficult to find time to date. You never know when you might find the key to some lost civilization or some long forgotten secret.

As he made his way further down the hill, he saw what looked like a small lake. Relieved, he made his way ever quicker until he heard a sound which made him slow down and try to find something to hide behind. It sounded like someone else was there, but he hadn't encountered a single person native to this area, so who could it have possibly been?
