She was raised for the most part by Lila, a plant hybrid from whom she learned about nature. She also fell in love with her exotic nanny, an emotion that did not come naturally to the hybrids. She has 2 children, Mira who is coming of age this season, and a 14 year old son. Lea was only 16 when she got pregnant with Mira, thinking it was her duty. She hated being pregnant and was not a particularly good mother, turning to her own nanny and now lover, Lila to raise the girl as well. Her second child was forced upon her by the Maledom faction and she has been wary of them since. She doesn't want to have her required 3rd or 4th child but is feeling the societal pressure to do so. She is also curious as to the possibilities of conception with Lila, though there are those that feel it is a taboo thing as the child wouldn't be truly human and might not even count towards her quota of four.

Biography: Saurianid's are one of the most widespread species in the known universe. Once the shock troops of an interstellar empire, when the empire fell to internal fighting, many clans were left stranded and without orders for centuries. Some went rogue and became pirates and mercenaries in the wider galaxy, others took the worlds they had conquered for their masters for their own, while others were enslaved by those they had wished to subjugate.

The Horned back tribe was one of the clans sent to explore the moon the human colonists crash landed on. Over the centuries their access to technology degraded to basic metal working as they waited and waited for new orders and they stripped down their own advanced technology to make more rudimentary tools. Separated by many hundreds of miles of sea from the human colony, the Sauriandis dominate the other continent on the moon,but due to the rate at which their species breeds, they have put together several crude boats to explore the possibility of colonies on other lands.

Mok'tal has been sent forth with a small expedition, mostly of young warriors to clear hostile wildlife and map the area ahead, bringing him and his kindred dangerously close the human colony.

Species Notes: Saurianid's were created by their long dead overlords by splicing favorable genes from other species. Of particular note, Saurianid were designed to be able to keep up a war for generations. As replilians their females lay clutches of eggs, ranging form 20-30, most of which will be male warriors. However in the event that no females of the species can be found, Sauriands males may copulate and impregnate mamallian females, who will give birth to at least one Saurianid offspring. The gestation period for such offspring will often be much faster than the mothers usual period.

Biography: All plant hybrids are hermaphrodite by nature but can appear as either all female or all male depending on the situation. They grow and mature on a slightly different curve than humans, in essence their first year after hatching from the fruit would compare to about 12 human years and the second year would compare to another 6 years after which their apparent ageing slows down to where their third year would be no more than a month in human age. This of course gives them a much longer lifespan than the humans and despite Lila's seemingly young appearance they are the first plant/human hybrid to have been hatched and had they aged at the same pace as the humans they would at the time have been in her mid 60s.

All plant/human hybrids are also able to communicate with other hybrids from the same plant over distance through a network of mycelium. This is also how they draw nutrients from all and any organic material, be it soil, vegetation or flesh.

Biography: This alien plant grows and reproduce in two stages, the flower emits a heavy scent that lures humans to it. Once it has it prey, it then either extracts an egg from it (if the prey is female) or semen (if the prey is male). After the plant has taken what it needs from its prey it releases the prey unharmed but perhaps a bit intoxicated. Once the flower is thus pollinated it produce an egg-like fruit in which the off-spring grows. It can also reproduce by the offspring bringing back a fertilised egg or by the offspring fertilising a human egg through intercourse. (I am at the time unsure how that egg would then develop, if the thus impregnated female give birth naturally or actually lay an egg.)

After only a year of hard work and determination he was more or less self-sufficient, growing his own food, had a few domesticated animals for milk, eggs but also for company and so as time went by he needed less and less from the village and thus had less and less contact with them, except on the rare occasions when he needed new tools, or clothes, or company. Having shown it was possible to live independently of either of the three factions one recently graduated woman decided to settle with him and despite both of them having a strong preference for their own sex the two did feel affection and eventually also attraction towards each other which has resulted in one child and another on the way.

Between them the couple have a mutually beneficial agreement regarding having partners of the same sex on the side.

He had built the Triskelion faction in strength and reach, though his lack of a recent impregnation has give rise to rumors about his virility and thus ability to lead.

When Kaiden graduated he joined the maledom faction as soon as possible as he felt that it made the most sense for him to do so. He's a brute, and sees the female tribe as nothing but toys for his amusement. His love for fighting and weapons came at a young age when he discovered where he came from and who he was descendant from.

Morrigan. The Irish meaning of Morrigan is great queen. While the time of queens never came about here, the meaning still holds some truth. She is a direct descendant of Ivy Stevenson. Ivy giving birth was something that took even her by surprise. It was never in her plan, and yet she found herself holding a baby, a perfect child that would go on to continue her bloodline. She thought about which faction she would join upon her graduation into society. Dominating males didn't appeal to her. She wanted to stand as an equal. Without both sexes working together, society would have failed. She couldn't understand why they seemed to have forgotten that. If asked about her last name, she will reply, "Stevenson". There is no shame. Instead, a certain amount of pride radiates from her when she mentions her family's name. There is also the faded memories from stories of her relatives and the crinkled pages from what remains of Ivy's diary.
Morrigan is an accomplished hunter. Having tracked and killed several creatures, she takes a certain amount of pride in knowing that she had helped feed and protect the neutral colony. These are skills she hopes to continue to use in order to assure the continuation of the human race.

  • At an early age, Danny knew she loved spending time with the various animals the colonist had discovered. Having only heard the handed-down stories of what the animals on earth were like and seen the pictures of them a thousand times, Danny could only imagine what it must have been like. As soon as she was old enough, she began to help tend to them, talking with them as if they could truly understand her. Gathering eggs and milk were her favorite. Feeding time was a close second. It always makes her laugh how hungry the animals are. Within the safety of the neutral colony, they are protected, just as the colonist are, but the times where she can ride bareback past the boundaries are some of her most treasured.
She thinks the whole breeding program is stupid. If left to their own devices, people will procreate. Society will survive. It will flourish. No one person should be forced into anything. She has helpt herself pure, believing that part of her body should only be shared with the person she loves. Though she hasn't met him yet, she's certain he's out there. The time is coming for her to graduate into society, and she has no plans of leaving the place she has come to know and love as home. The male and female factions can fight with each other all they want. She'll take her days filled with furry creatures any day. She knows the time will come when she will be expected to live up to her duty, as deemed by the founders of this new world. Still, she hopes to hold off on it as long as she can. After all, Mr. Right has to be out there. Right?
