Damn. The slender brunette cursed under her breath, crisp air rushing to her very core. Nights like these made her miss the summer time that much more - god how she hated being cold. Quickly she shoved her hands into the pocket of her jacket and fumbled for her pack of cigarettes. Scott will kill me if he finds out I’m smoking again, the thought passed through her mind as she placed one between her lips.

Come on…“ she hissed, fighting to light the sucker against the wind. She could hear her fiancé voice now, is that seriously worth freezing your ass for, Mia? As if the man had been truly standing in front of her she rolled her hazel hues and took a dramatic inhale. At this point, it wasn’t only worth it…but necessary. After a day of dealing with nonstop assholes, smoking was her last concern. Especially since her night had only started.

Mia took a long, final drag before snuffing it out on the bottom of her heel and tossing it into a nearby garbage bin. Her gaze moved to the dull glow from her cellphone, already expecting it to be later than she wanted, the time staring back didn’t come as a shocker,
9:53. Her destination was clear across the city, a place called The Serpent’s Nest. The popular nightclub had been on police radar for months now.

Not only was this her first solo gig, but her first time going undercover. Mia kicked aside her nerves when she accepted the case - tonight would leave no room for mistakes. She smoothed down the front of her of her torso, a small laugh leaving her gloss stained lips. When was the last time I wore a dress? Second grade? The sight of herself “dolled up” was odd, if it wasn’t slacks and blouses for work..it was sweats and baggy shirts.

The goal is not to look suspicious. Just merely going to enjoy the music and blend in..“ Mia thought out loud. Before she wrapped up further into racing thoughts a yellow cab pulled along the curb. Without allowing a moment to hesitate she slipped onto the backseat, awkwardly tugging at the ends of her fitted dress - careful not to reveal the gun tightly holstered against her thigh. “Um-..64 Morris Street, please, I’m in a bit of a rush..“ she stumbled, almost forgetting the address.

Vanessa strode down the soundproofed hallway, her heels clicking on the marbled flooring with each step. Everything about the way she moved suggested an air of confidence and belonging.

It was hardly surprising, really. She was the head of a small criminal empire, and this place was the ever beating heart of her operations.

As far as The Serpent's Nest was concerned, Vanessa was the undisputed monarch.

She nodded to a burly man in a suit and sunglasses who was stood beside a thick looking steel door. He nodded once in reply and swiped a keycard along a panel behind him. The door made a clicking noise and he reached out to open it for her. As soon as the door opened a wall of sound entered the previously silent corridor - music pumping from industrial strength loudspeakers, the sound of chatter and laughter, and the clink of glasses surrounded her. Vanessa simply smirked as the deluge of sound enveloped her. This was her kingdom. She had nothing to fear.

The door closed behind her as she walked out into the midst of The Serpent's Nest. Dressed in a long black dress with a slit up the side that went all the way to her hip and showed off her long, slender legs and the tattoos that ran up them, Vanessa swept toward the main bar and cast her eyes over her domain. It was busy tonight. The pole dancing area off to one side had a good number of attendees, the main dance areas were filling up, and several of the leather sofas that made up the club's quieter area for those who wanted to sit and drink had been occupied. Business was good, and while the club was essentially a front for the Crimson Crystals' less legal activities, it was still a damn good money maker.

Vanessa took a seat at the bar and was instantly brought a glass of wine. She liked to be out here among the little people, seeing her empire from the ground level. The new drug they'd developed was flourishing, and a nightclub had been the perfect place to test out its effectiveness on unwitting subjects. She had enough free time on her hands to sit out in the club for a while on this particular night. Had she been busier, her fated meeting with Mia might never have happened.

Hope you have reservations handy. This place usually has a line a mile long,The cab driver shook his head with a gruff chuckle, “-though, they never make the pretty ones wait to longhe added, adjusting his mirror to better view his passenger. He was met with immediate silence and a glare to kill if there was such a thing. Creep. Mia pulled her coat closer, thankful that it was long enough to cover most of her torso.

The brunette bit her tongue and continued to look out the window. A part of her wanted to go off on the guy, flash the badge that stayed hidden in her bra. Instead she focused on the unfamiliar street signs. Her expression finally changing when she no longer recognized the buildings and complexes. The cab weaved in and out of the steady flowing traffic before taking a sudden turn, causing Mia to reach for the seat in front of her. Please tell me we’re almost there.

To her relief the vehicle began to slow, hugging the side of the people packed curb. “Shit..you weren’t kiddin..Mia laughed lightly as she trailed the line snaking clear down the block. Hope you’re right about not having to wait long, she sighed, swallowing the lump in her throat. Her stomach now turning from more than the sickening car ride. “Eh, how about a word of advice, kiddo? Buy your own drinks.

Solid wisdom from the person staring at my chest the entire drive, Mia rolled her eyes as she stepped out, “
Right. Thanks, and keep the change“ she forced a smile and handed him the bill. The cold air nipped at her bare legs, encouraging her not to waste anymore time. Mia let out the breath she hadn’t realized she held, you got this. Leaving behind any sense of doubt the woman made her way towards a set of large double doors, making sure to avoid the dirty looks of those waiting to get in. Some of which shouted her way.

To her surprise, it took no longer than a couple minutes of “flirting” with the bouncer before he allowed her to pass through the ropes. Immediately Mia was hit with the vibration of music under her heels, the sensation intensifying as she traveled down a long, neon lit hallway. Lots of security for a simple nightclub, Mia quickly noted the number of bouncers past the one at the door. Some even appearing to be lightly armed, which made the presence of her own pistol all to real. In that moment she thanked the odd fact that the club didn’t seem to have metal detectors.

Mia passed along the sea of dancing bodies, the floor underneath of them rapidly changing colors. The sight of the bar came with comfort, not only could she use a stiff drink, but a clear space to gather herself. One drink won’t hurt anything. Blend in, right? Her hazel pools searched for a free seat, one that sat not far from a stunning tattooed woman. “Scotch on the rocks“ Mia smiled at the bartender and took the seat.

There was something comfortingly familiar about the sound of multiple voices chatting and laughing all around her that made Vanessa feel at ease despite the baseline pumping through the building. She'd always preferred a loud and busy life to a quiet one, ever since she was a child. The couple of years she'd been made to live in a rural area with her waste of space mother as a young teen had been the 24 most boring months of her life. She'd felt like a prisoner, unable to go anywhere or do anything, with nothing but elderly neighbours who had nothing better to do than gossip and act like everyone else's business was their God-given right to know. Vanessa had hated it. She was a city girl through and through. Silence was a cancer to her, lights and noise her lullaby.

And so she sat there sipping her drink, taking in the ambience of her distinctly urban environment.

She glanced to her left as she heard a new and feminine voice addressing the barman, only to do a double-take as the newcomer's beauty registered properly with her. The woman sitting at the nearby stool seemed to be her own age, with straight brunette hair, porcelein skin and smoky eyes that held both a gorgeous hue and a nervous intensity. Vanessa raised her glass to her lips and took another sip, watching the newcomer over the rim before setting it back down and smirking.

"First time here?" she asked, her voice curious and inviting.

Vanessa had seen countless people come and go from this nightclub. Not all of them left through the front doors, or with a pulse. When you ran a criminal empire and saw hundreds of people entering your base of operations every night, you either got good at recognising when someone was out of place, or you ended up dead at best, behind bars for the rest of your life at worst. She could sense a nervous energy around the gorgeous newcomer, a feeling of not being entirely comfortable with her surroundings. The Serpent's Nest was a public facing nightclub, and people who weren't used to clubbing or the nightlife scene came in here looking like lost lambs all the time, but something about this newcomer's beauty and demeanour had grabbed Vanessa's attention the moment she saw her.

No, really. I’m good thanks“ Mia reassured the bartender, who seemed far more concerned about the damn drink than she did. Keeping her eyes on the swaying crowd she gave the glass a gentle push away and turned her attention back to her own beverage. “Not interested, FD848E99-8BDA-4553-B0AD-FF4DB67DFEDF.gif she added, calling over her shoulder in the direction of the drink buyers. The duo casted the brunette a smug smile which faded quickly after the drink slid back their way.

Mia polished off the rest of her scotch, savoring the sharpe taste it left against her lips. I almost forgot how much I missed that, her soft eyes grazed the remaining ice cubes. Drinking was yet another thing her restrictive fiancé would fuss over, especially now. With a sigh she declined a refill and moved her sights down the bar, pausing on the woman in the lengthy black dress.

Me? First time?“ Mia paused, giving the empty set of stools behind her a glance. A part of her expected to be left sitting in embarrassment after realizing the bombshell wasn’t actually talking to her. Was it that obvious? The corners of her lips perked, “Yeah. I’m uh, new to town“ Mia leaned over into the empty space between them, doing her best to speak over the pulsating music. “You a Serpents Nest regular?

She swallowed the cheesy question, hoping her nerves weren’t as transparent. Maybe, if this woman is a regular..she’ll know something..seen something. As of now, the only leads the police had to fallow was surrounding this place. Being stubborn as a mule, as her grandmother would say, Mia wouldn’t leave until she had something, anything to bring back to the station.

It was becoming easier to see how the club’s atmosphere was addicting. The spacious room flashed vibrant colors, inviting it’s inhabitants to the large dance floor. By each passing minute the crowd seemed to only grow larger, more faces appeared eagerly waiting at the bar. Mia shuffled to the stool that had separated herself from the stunning redhead.

Can I buy you a drink?“ Mia bit down on the fullness of her bottom lip.

As the brunette looked toward her and their eyes met for the first time, Vanessa's attention was captivated in a way that went beyond mere curiosity. In her line of work she was constantly focusing her attention on people with an almost clinical eye - assessing them, figuring out their weaknesses, scrutinising their true intentions- and although she was still doing that to this newcomer, she also found herself admiring the brunette's beauty.

She smirked playfully at the other woman, picking up both strength and a hint of uncertainty in her voice. Vanessa was a regular alright, but the brunette didn't need to know that this was her club. Not just yet.

"Yeah, I'm here a lot" She replied, mimicking the other woman's body language and leaning toward her. "I remember the first few nights being a bit overwhelming. It's a big club and there's always a lot going on. I guess that's something this place and the city have in common" She chuckled, gulping a mouthful of her vodka. Nothing she'd said was untrue. If people thought attending the club was a lot to deal with they should try running the damn place. The first few weeks of getting the place up and running had been more of a nuisance than running a criminal syndicate.

Vanessa watched as the brunette moved closer, taking the stool that had been vacant between them so they were now sat side by side. She shifted a little closer and gave the other woman a mischievous smile, raising raising eyebrow at her as the offer of a drink was made.

"Only if I can get you one afterwards."

Mia couldn’t help but grin, exposing the deep dimples centered in her cheeks. Not only was this the first time she offered to buy someone else’s drink, but a womans at that. Not that any of that held importance at the moment, of course. There was certainly nothing wrong with being friendly, especially when information about the club was needed. With a small laugh she toned down her smile, exposing a row of pearly whites.

It’s a deal,“ she added, extending her hand towards the beauty, “guess I did this a bit backwards. Drinks first..intros second,“ her shoulders perked into a nervous shrug, “I’m Mia.

Smooth.

The brunette’s smoky hues looked for the bartender -who’s attention remained on a small group of new arrivals. “
You’re not lying about it being..overwhelming,“ Mia agreed with a smirk, her hand rummaging through a leather clutch resting on her lap. Double checking the row of neon signs she ensured smoking was allowed at the bar before lighting up a cigarette.

So, what’s the deal with this place?“ The question was asked with mild caution, careless and casual. Or, at least she tried to deliver it that way.

On a different night, Mia understood how this place could be contagious. Like a virus, energetic vibes spread all around her. It was easy to feed off of the smiles and fast pace dancing, even for an undercover cop. One more drink, she reminded herself with another drag.

With the bar becoming increasingly packed by thirsty club-goers, Mia sighed in relief once the bartender returned with their drinks. “
Cheers,“ she offered the redhead a wink, sliding the glass her way. Taking a mouthful of whiskey Mia allowed her gaze to wander the premise. What could a place like this be hiding? Mia tried not to titter at her own thought.

Using clubs and bars weren’t an unusual front for those involved in criminal enterprises. Whatever the case may be, it was her job to figure it out.

The other woman's smile seemed to light up her face, causing Vanessa to briefly wonder what her blissed out post-orgasm smile would look like. She imagined the two of them laying naked on a bed together, side by side, breasts heaving with heavy breaths as they grinned at one another.

The mental image was fleeting but powerful, quickly replaced by another as she took Mia's hand in hers and shook it. The brunette's fingers seemed to fit naturally against her own, soft and slender and begging to be kissed. In her mind Vanessa pictured taking Mia's index finger into her mouth and sucking on it slowly while playfully biting it, all the while looking Mia dead in in eyes.

"Mia, is it? I'm not sure if it suits you. It sounds so innocent, but I'm willing to bet you've got a wild and passionate side waiting to be let out" She purred, holding Mia's hand before slowly releasing it, allowing their fingers ample time to close against each other as their hands parted. "I'm Vanessa."

Her vibrant green eyes stayed focused on her new drinking companion's face. She'd realised long ago that the trick to radiating both strength and sensuality was to maintain as much eye contact as possible. People who were nervous or uncomfortable had a tendency to avoid holding another's gaze for long. To look into their eyes and maintain an inviting expression was far more desirable.

And so whenever Mia looked at Vanessa she'd find the redhead looking right back at her.

Her smirk took on a more pleased edge as Mia lit her cigarette. Something about knowing the other woman was a smoker satisfied her. Perhaps it was because she herself smoked, or perhaps it was because it signified that Mia was prone to addictions.

The drug she manufactured always took hold more easily when someone had an addictive personality...

"The deal with it? What do you mean?" Vanessa asked, giving Mia a confused little smile. "It's a nightclub for people who want to get away from it all for the night...to let themselves go and live in the moment. I don't know about you, but I definitely need that sometimes." She could have said more but she wanted to see how the brunette would respond.

She smirked as her drink was slid to her and raised it in thanks, feeling a faint tingle within her chest as the other woman winked at her.

"Cheers" She echoed, slipping a seductive undercurrent into her voice. She leaned a little closer, just enough for their arms to lightly brush against each other. "You don't seem like you knew much about this place before coming in. What brought such an elegant woman to a place like this?" She asked, her green eyes fixing once again into Mia's brown orbs.

Vanessa,,” Mia repeated the name back, letting it roll off her tongue as beautifully as it sounded. “Your name, it means butterfly,” a single brow perked as she brought the end of the cigarette back to her lips for another drag, the light colored smoke puffed above their heads as she continued, “though it’s true origins are debatable…I think that version suits you quite well.“ The brunette felt her cheeks redden, her fingers still locked around the woman’s delicate hand with warm embrace. Like an insect to a flame, Mia found it different to break away from Vanessa’s captivating emerald orbs.

Eyes are the windows to the soul..

Let loose? Live in the moment? Anyone who knew Mia knew that was as simple as bathing a cat. Of course, she hadn’t always been such a killjoy. The last conversation she had with her sister was hard to shake - how she was told about the worry she put the family through, due to her obsession with work. It was only another thing none of them could see eye to eye on.

What was so wrong with wanting success? A stable career? Maybe a family?

Mia let her lips linger on the edge of her glass, her gaze shifting downwards in thought at the melting cubes. Why couldn’t they just be proud. The brunette cleared her throat lightly before inhaling the rest of her drink. “Guess there would be no better place in the city to go than this one, huh?“ she grinned, licking away the spicy residue. “I don’t really go out much. Between classes and a full time job…it’s hard to find time to simply enjoy a night out.

Inside, her stomach sank, hopefully I’m a better liar than I think.

Casting the bartender a half smile she slid the fold of cash across the smooth bar top. Assuring him that her companion’s current drink was on her. To her surprise, the man’s eyes narrowed..shifting to Vanessa and then slowly back to Mia. With a muddled expression he simply nodded and carried on. That was, odd. Did they know one another?

There was no resistance as their skin quickly touched. At that point, Mia hadn’t realized how close they had sat. She pushed against the lump in her throat, “Oh, well, one of my friends told me about it. Said this place had some of the best music in the city,” Each lie came with more struggle than before. Elegant? Mia urged to shake her head, would she feel the same if she knew I was an undercover cop?

Vanessa's eyes flicked down to Mia's lips as the brunette pronounced her name with a surprisingly sensual lilt. She'd realised long ago that you could tell a lot about a person's feelings from the way they spoke your name - not just the tone in their voice, but the way their lips moved when they said it. Some people's lips would seem to scowl, others would seem to smile. Mia's lips did the latter.

As quickly as they'd flicked downward, Vanessa's eyes would shift back up to Mia's face. This newcomer was becoming more and more fascinating by the moment. The tattoos and fierce red hair that made up much of Vanessa's appearance led to her being judged by people all too often. They saw the ink in particular and thought her to be nothing more than an uneducated welp, an underestimation that Vanessa enjoyed twisting to her advantage. Despite what many seemed to think based purely on her appearance, Vanessa was an intelligent woman who valued intelligence in others and found it deeply attractive. As Mia spoke of the origins of her name, Vanessa quickly realised that Mia was not only physically beautiful but mentally sexy as well.

Beauty and intellect. Mia was shaping up to be quite the package.

It was a shame, then, that she still had doubts about the woman's story. Beautiful and intelligent women didn't come to a place like this alone without good reason. They were smart enough to know the risks.

Vanessa smiled and stroked her thumb slowly across the back of Mia's hand, caressing the soft skin with sensual movements as they continued to hold one another's hand.

"You seem to know me well already. I feel like I'm at a disadvantage here...I guess I'll just have to get to know you better, won't I?" She said, her voice flirtatious and playful. "The night's still young, after all."

Vanessa raised her glass with her other hand and took a sip, looking at Mia over the rim of the glass as the other woman spoke. Classes and a full-time job, eh? It could be true. Mia seemed intelligent enough to hold down both. She didn't have the air of a student about her though. Night classes, perhaps?

"A full-time job is tiring enough but classes, too? Wow. No wonder you came here seeking a night away from it all" She said empathetically as she set her glass back down. "There must be so little time for fun and excitement in your life" She added, slipping her fingers slowly between Mia's. She looked silently into her companion's brown eyes, their fingers now entwined as she continued to stroke the back of Mia's hand. The dance they'd entered into was pure verbal foreplay, but the implication left hanging in the brief silence between them was clear without being overt.

Vanessa could give Mia the night of fun and excitement her life lacked.

Her eyes briefly left Mia's face as she felt the barman looking at her. He was a good man, one of her best. There was far more to him than mere bartending skills. He was one of the select few she trusted to administer their drug to drinks on her command, and they had a series of looks and exchanges worked out that were far too subtle for the average person to interpret. She knew the look he was giving her well. He was asking if Mia was to be trusted with purchasing his boss a drink. Vanessa gave him the smallest of nods and slid her index finger in a tiny circle on the bar top.

Let her do it, but be on your guard. Watch her closely. She might not be trustworthy.

She knew from the way he tapped a finger just once against the glass he was holding that he understood.

Vanessa looked back at Mia and nodded, taking in the brunette's words. The club did have a reputation for good music. It could be a genuine reason for coming here. Mia could also have found out about the club's reputation with a quick Google search. It was the fact that she'd come here alone that continued to niggle at Vanessa. Only foolish women would venture out to a nightclub alone for the first time in a city they barely knew, and Mia didn't strike her as a fool.

"Oh, so it's music that you're into! Well then, once we finish these drinks I think you and I should hit the dance floor" She said enthusiastically. "What kind of music do you like to dance to? There are different rooms in this place for different genres. We can go for a dance and then come back for that drink I owe you" She grinned.

Right. Exactly,” Mia cleared her throat, still holding onto a bright smile. Don’t let her know you’re lying. With the hand not holding onto Vanessas, she gently wiped at the corners of her lips, ridding herself of any unwanted alcohol. Not a usual makeup wearing she jumped on the moment to change the subject. “Oh damn, I didn’t smear my lipstick, did I?

She swiveled in her seat to better face the redhead. Her full lips pressed forward as she exposed the perked corners. “
It was supposed to be smudge proof,
Mia sighed and shrugged. If anything was factual at this time, it was the simple fact Mia didn’t girl well or get out much. Work continued to consume everything, and everyone around her.

One huge reason why her marriage suffered, as did all relationships.

Vanessa’a alluring voice brought her back, once again, from her weighing thoughts. Dance? Me? There would be no hiding the sudden nervous excitement gleaming against her hazel hues. Even a stick in the mud like herself enjoying swaying her hips on occasion. Of course, it hadn’t been since her younger sister’s first wedding that she actually danced.

Cheers to liquid encouragement.
You know what Vanessa,“ Mia beamed, ordering another round of quickly prepared shots. The contents of what she drank no longer seeming to matter. “Why the hell not? You’re right, the night is young and so are we,” she added, knocking back the new beverage. I can always come back another night if I can’t find anything to report on. Mia knew it was a total rookie move, one that would surely bite her in the ass in the end.

You pick, since you seem know the place. Maybe something upbeat?“ she suggested as she rose up from the bar stool, slinging her purse over her shoulder. It really hadn’t been until now that she realized the two women still held hands. In a way, it brought more comfort than many things had these days. What harm could come out of befriending such a person as, Vanessa? Intelligent, confident, beautiful of course and above all…exciting.

Shall we?

Vanessa's eyes only shifted from Mia's to look down at the other woman's lips. They lingered there far longer than they needed to, their intense gaze tracing the shape of those kissable lips, taking in every line and curve as she noticed how soft and inviting they looked. Was someone else meant to be kissing those lips tonight? Was there a significant other in Mia's life? Vanessa was curious but ultimately she didn't care.

If she wanted to make Mia hers, she'd do it regardless.

She took Mia's question as an excuse to lean in closer and pretend to be looking the other woman's lips over for smudged makeup.

"Nope, your makeup's still beautiful and you're still gorgeous" She replied, giving Mia a flirty little smile.

Her eyes returned to Mia's and at the mention of dancing she saw those beautiful hazel orbs truly come to life. She felt a jolt of victory as she realised she must have stumbled upon one of Mia's passions. Everyone had at least one thing in life that made them genuinely excited in a way they couldn't conceal, and dancing being one of Mia's played to Vanessa's advantage. She was no professional dancer but she knew how to move her body in an erotic way and loved to blow off steam on the dance floor when the chance arose.

She laughed happily as Mia ordered them a round of shots, loving the other woman's enthusiasm. She downed her drink along with Mia and led the other woman by the hand through the bar area and around one of the big dance floors to a separate room. The room itself was the size of some small nightclubs and had a bustling dance floor filled with people dancing to lively pop-style music. Vanessa navigated them to an open space that left the pair with plenty of room around them and turned to face her companion, moving up close to her as she raised her arms and began to move her hips in time to the beat.

Nope, your makeup's still beautiful and you're still gorgeous
The simple compliment hit the brunette like a tidal wave, making her gut flutter. Wow. Mia felt her cheeks grow hot. When was the last time Scott said that? Her fingers searched for hair to tuck behind her ears, a typical sign when nervous or thinking. It was odd. She had only met Vanessa hardly an hour ago, and yet she couldn’t help but want to cut loose.

To forget about work, family, and most of all Scott.

Good. Thanks for checking,” Mia responded after a small moment of hesitation, long enough to hear the song change.”Can’t be walking around looking hot mess already, especially next to you.” Her skin flushed, am I actually..flirting? The small pinch of guilt stung, especially knowing her fiancé sat home oblivious. She was supposed to be on a job, not acting like a partygoer.

He’s probably worried. As always.

Mia met locked fingers with woman, who casually guided them into the right direction. She couldn’t ignore the tingling inside as anticipation crept through her body, filling her with adrenaline. The energy pulsating was even more contagious, her electrified hues watched the dance floor. Locking her fingers around Vanessa’a slightly tighter the pair made their way to an open section of the floor.

This is awesome, you definitely seem to know your way around.” Mia leaned in, merely to speak over the music. A part of her wanted to bring up how many people seemed to stare their way, eyes mostly on Vanessa. How much of a regular was she? The possibility of the woman’s striking appearance could easily be behind most of it, however, something inside Mia made her wonder if it was something else. After all, in her line of work being a judge of character was important.

Before the chance to ask further questions, Mia felt the space between them close as Vanessa began to sway against the rhythm. With a small smile, as if being reminded what they were there to do, Mia fallowed her partners movements. Let go. Her own hips moved to the music. Like most of the crowd, Mia giggled and bounced freely against the upbeat energetic songs.

Her movements grew closer to the redhead with each passing minute. The music now switching into a slow, sensual song. Mia’s hands slid from her thighs back up to her shoulders and above her head. Outlining the curves of her body. Her sights never left Vanessa.

Slowly, but surely, the faces around them faded. Mia let her eyes close, feeling the front of her torso brushing against her new friend.

"Can't be walking around looking like a hot mess already, especially next to you."

Vanessa smirked to herself as a tingle of anticipation rippled its way across her skin. The beautiful brunette seemed to be flirting with her, whether she realised it or not. A quick sideways glance at her companion told Vanessa all she needed to know - there was a certain appreciative look on Mia's face that went beyond the way a friend looks at another friend. There was a definite hint of desire there, but as quickly as it appeared it vanished from the brunette's face, as if Mia had just caught herself flirting. Was she simply shy, or was there a significant other in her life?

She looked properly at Mia and smiled as she felt the other woman's fingers entwine more firmly with her own. Mia's slender fingers were cool and soft, seeming to fit perfectly between and around Vanessa's own. She'd noticed back at the bar that Mia had nice hands. It was something she often noticed about women she was attracted to. Hands were perhaps an odd thing to find attractive, but you could tell a lot about someone from that particular part of their body.

Vanessa chuckled to herself at Mia's remark and leaned in closer so she herself could be heard.

"I spend a lot of time here. The place isn't so big once you've been here a while."

Her reply marked the first time Vanessa had told Mia something of a lie. The place was far bigger than it seemed thanks to the criminal enterprise being run from behind closed doors. It was true that the club itself didn't seem so huge once you'd gotten used to where the different rooms were and what was happening in them, but the club was a mere front for the more interesting side of Vanessa's work.

The spoken words exchanged between them held the tattooed redhead's attention, but it was the unspoken words exchanged by their bodies that truly captivated her interest. As the two women began dancing she could practically see the shy, almost formal air that Mia wrapped herself in slowly falling away. The more they danced, and the closer their bodies grew, the more Mia seemed to come alive. Her face brightened and her smile became more radiant, her movements became more carefree as she seemed to give herself over to the music, and her hips moved with a hypnotic allure that kept drawing Vanessa's eyes. She imagined the two of them naked together, laying on Vanessa's plush bed, Vanessa laying on her back and Mia straddling her waist, rolling her hips as she was now while the two of them ran their hands up and down one another's bare breasts. She bit her lower lip and looked Mia up and down, unable to deny how much she yearned for this other woman's touch.

As anyone who knew Vanessa was aware, she had a habit of always getting what she wanted.

And if Mia could come alive like this on the dance floor, how much more could she come alive with a little of the drunk Vanessa manufactured in her system?

Her eyes fixed onto Mia's as the song changed and the other woman raised her arms above her head, swaying her hands and body as if doing so was the most natural thing in the world to her. Vanessa mirrored the way she was dancing, putting an extra bit of roll into her hips as if she were a trained erotic dancer. The distance between them was fading, and Vanessa moved a little closer. Their breasts kissed beneath the fabric of their clothing, Vanessa's larger chest now nestling softly against Mia's smaller one. Their bodies settled into a matching rhythm, swaying and moving in perfect synch. Vanessa slowly moved her arms forward until her palms touched Mia's, her fingers sliding gently between the other woman's and folding down on the back of her hand. Now the two of them were holding hands, their arms up above their heads as they danced intimately close.

"You're beautiful and you move like a Goddess. I can hardly believe you're real" Vanessa said, her voice firm and sensual.

Mia allowed her eyes to wander away from Vanessa, when they weren’t shut tight - giving the music more room to engage her other senses. The club was the biggest one she had been to, not to say she held much experience in that department. Before this, she had been to local dive bars. Mostly due to the constant annoyance from her best friend within the city, who happened to adore karaoke. Even her job knew she loathed cases surrounding such scenes.

Yet, here she was.

Pressed tightly against another woman. Together their body’s moved in perfect sync. Slow and intimate. Mia couldn’t pinpoint the moment the duo closed the separation between them. She didn’t fight it, although a bit strange at first and somewhat foreign - something kept her from stopping.

It just felt, right.

Scott. Her mind drifted back to her fiancé. She could practically quiver at the thought of him seeing her grinding against another. The dance had long passed friendly and passion took over. Mia shoved his image away, closing her eyes again. What’s done is done. Live in the moment. A smile crossed the brunette’s face, who could’ve predicted this night?

You can’t believe I’m real? Mia’s movements slowed as her expression changed, clearly taken back by what was said. Her hazel eyes stared hard into Vanessa’s earthy greens, “you think I’m beautiful?” she leaned in, the words escaping in a whisper. One that she wasn’t sure Vanessa would hear, although she hoped she did.

The attraction was becoming undeniable. Mia gently brushed the loose strains of red hair behind Vanessa’s ear. She hadn’t felt this way about a woman before, so why now? Why her? The questions demanded answers which Mia ignored. What she couldn’t ignore, was the fact she was still undercover. Hell, if she allowed Vanessa’s hands to travel up the side of her thighs she’d find the loaded holster.

Vanessa, you’re amazing, but I’m engaged,” she breathed, dropping her hand back to her side. Oh, I forgot to mention I’m a cop as well. Her eyes fell towards the multicolored floor, a part of her wishing the second part was more than a mental thought.

As they looked into one another's eyes and their bodies ground together in perfect sync, it felt to Vanessa as if the rest of the world might as well not exist. They were surrounded by people and yet in Vanessa's mind there was only Mia. The flashes of strobing lights lit up her companion's face for brief moments, illuminating her beautiful features before casting then back into shadow again, and in those moments Vanessa was convinced that she saw the same deep fascination etched onto Mia's face that she knew must be showing on her own.

Their faces were scandalously close now, the distance between them so negligible as Mia leaned in and whispered that Vanessa could feel the other woman's breath tickling her lips. It took all her self-restraint not to claim those alluring lips with her own.

"I do" she replied, her eyes fixed on Mia's. "And I'll say it again - you're beautiful, Mia."

The air around them felt like it was being charged with static. Sexual tension hung thick around them, binding them closer with a sense of excited anticipation that Vanessa knew Mia must be feeling too. The silence between them as their bodies pressed together and they gazed into one another's eyes was like the moments before a storm breaks, filled with promise and energy. Hips moving as one, breasts rubbing together, their crotches occasionally meeting - it was as if the two had become one, their bodies slotting together as if made for one another.

That closeness seemed to intensify as Mia reached out and tenderly brushed strands of Vanessa's hair behind her ear. It was the kind of soft, intimate touch that Vanessa hadn't realised she was yearning for until it happened. Her heart began to beat faster. Any second now she was anticipating the first union of their lips, to feel the shape of Mia's mouth against hers and to taste the other woman's breath...

But instead Mia's hand dropped, her eyes cast downward, and she admitted she was engaged.

For a few seconds Vanessa felt a deep sense of disappointment, perhaps even a tinge of hurt, but it passed as quickly as it arrived. An engagement meant nothing. Mia wasn't married yet. Even if she was, she wouldn't be the first married person Vanessa had taken to bed. The redhead thrived on challenges, and this was just another one to overcome.

Besides, there was something deliciously naughty about seducing someone who should be off limits. Forbidden fruit always tasted so good.

Vanessa lowered their arms and let go of Mia's right hand. She cupped the brunette's chin in her now free hand and tilted Mia's face up so that their eyes could meet again.

"It's OK, Mia. I understand" She said, smiling at her companion. "Come on, let's go get that drink I owe you before I get too used to the feeling of your body against mine."

She cast Mia a flirtatious look, knowing all too well the mental images her phrasing might conjure up. She took Mia's hand in hers again and led the way back to the bar, weaving effortlessly through the crowds of people. As her eyes met with the barman's she scratched the side of her head and nodded once.

The sign they'd worked out for spiking the drink of whoever she was with. A head scratch, a single nod of greeting. A low dose. Enough to remove inhibitions and heighten pleasure, but not a strong enough dose to risk easy detection in the blood stream. The drug was effective but needed to be taken in weaker doses before the user built up to stronger hits. Most of the fools who'd died from it were addicts or people who'd started straight off on the maximum dose and found their heart giving out.

Such a fate was not what she wanted for Mia.

"Vodka on the rocks for me, and whatever my friend here's drinking" She said, looking to Mia with a smile.

"It's OK, Mia. I understand"
The dark brunette’s brows lifted, as if half surprised Vanessa to be so..cool. Things had heated up within mere moments of the duo dancing together, what would’ve happen if Mia refused to draw that fine line? It wasn’t unusual for her to not bring up Scott in conversations, in her line of the work - the less someone knew about her the better.

That sounds amazing, I’m parched,” she beamed. Trust me, I know the feeling, of course the words never left her lips, but she agreed in silence.

She did note the lustful gleam behind those captivating green pools, just as her hand was taken by the beauty. She allowed her to pull and guide her through the crowd. “Thanks, for hanging out with me,” Mia blushed as she casually leaned her back against the side of the bar. She didn’t face Vanessa
, but remained close. Her eyes wondered amongst the pulsating crowd. Smiling was becoming as contagious as the music and she simply couldn’t help but swing her hips as they waited on a their drinks.

I’ll have the same, just add cranberry juice and a splash of peach schnapps,” she turned to order, giving the bartender a small smile. Mia payed little attention to the happenings behind the bar, the atmosphere had fully pulled her in. She wanted to explore more of the club and more so, chat with Victoria. It’s a shame we didn’t met a year ago, her eyes wandered down her new friends alluringly decorated skin.

Vanessa looked from Mia back to the barman, a brief look of understanding passing between them as their eyes met.

There'd be a splash of something more than peach schnapps in the brunette's drink.

Vanessa stood at the bar and twirled a lock of her vibrant red hair around her index finger, smirking to herself as she felt Mia's eyes on her. She'd become good at observing people out of the corner of her eye and right now her attention was indirectly focused on her companion. She could tell Mia was looking at her and responded by leaning on the bar slightly, adopting a pose that pushed her chest forward and gave Mia a tantalising view down her top while sticking her pert and shapely rear out. If Mia was going to watch her then she was going to give the other woman a bit of a show. She found herself wondering about Mia's fiance - what he was like, how they'd met, whether she was truly happy with him...the attraction between them on the dancefloor had clearly been mutual, that much was obvious from their body language alone, and while Mia had stopped things from progressing further between them, she'd also allowed things to go as far as they had.

There was a crack somewhere in her relationship with her fiance, there had to be. And whatever that weakness in the foundation of their relationship was, Vanessa would find it and rip it wide open.

She nodded and smiled to the barman as her drink was passed to her. She turned her head to face Mia and shot the other woman a playful smirk.

"You don't need to keep your distance from me, you know. I'm not going to leap on you...unless you tell me it's okay to do so" she teased. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Mia's drink being finalised and turned back to the barman as it was placed next to her. She handed over a bill and passed the spiked drink to Mia, moving closer until she was leaning against the bar right beside her companion.

"To new relationships" she said, raising her glass.

Mia reached for the glass with an eagerness, wanting to hide the obvious Vanessa pointed out. On one had, she couldn’t help but admire the woman’s seemingly blunt nature. As someone who had the tendency to butter the situation up before delivering the dish, Victoria carried the opposite attitude. Admirable indeed. Her hand took hold of the drink, it’s cold surface relaxing her sweating palms.

To new relationships,”

She raised up her own glass into the air. Allowing it to meet the redhead’s with a soft clink. Mia gave the pale red liquid a subtle glance, happy to see that extra ice was added. Dancing had her craving anything that offered a cooling off. “Two waters as well, thanks,” she requested, giving Victoria a quick wink.

I can already tell my body is going to hate me in the morning,” the bright eyed brunette let out a light laugh before finally bringing the drink in hand to her mouth. Mia tilted her head back, taking a few gulps. Remind me to give this kid an extra tip, she thought, enjoying the well proportioned flavor. Already, the familiar feeling of a gentle buzz lingered, tingling her lips. Last drink, Mia.

It didn’t take long for her to polish it off. Hearing the sound of half formed ice cubes clanking around the cup. Letting a small sliver land between her teeth she chewed on it, sliding the glass towards the bartender. As promised, she fumbled into the pocket of her jacket and pulled out a ten dollar bill and handed it his way. “If you’re not all danced out, I say we hit the floor again,” Mia smiled, her voice trailing off.

Unless there’s somewhere more quiet where we can hang out. Maybe sit and talk?” She asked, cheeks flushing once more.

Vanessa smirked as Mia echoed her words back at her. Oh yes, to new relationships indeed. And what a relationship theirs could be, if Vanessa played things correctly.

It didn't happen often, but every now and then Vanessa would meet someone who got under her skin in just the right ways, who caught her attention and intrigued her enough to raise her interest. She'd had plenty of flings, casual sex and relationships, but that was often based on sexual need and attraction. For someone to attract her mind as well as her body...that was far rarer.

And somehow Mia had done just that.

She winked back at the brunette and took a sip of her own drink, watching avidly as Mia raised her glass to her lips. She saw Mia swallow and felt a rising swell of excitement. This was it. The brunette was drinking it and soon the drug would start stripping away her inhibitions. She was curious to see just what Mia would be like with her inhibitions gone and her pleasure receptors enhanced. She'd seen this happen to countless people now and always found the results to be fascinating. As Mia finished off her drink. Vanessa found herself wondering to what extent the brunette could be herself around her fiance. She'd come here alone, and during their dance she'd seen another side of Mia starting to emerge. Had her inhibitions ever truly dropped around the person she was set to marry? Somehow Vanessa doubted it.

She was about to agree with Mia's suggestion that they hit the dance floor again when the other woman instead floated the idea of going somewhere more quiet. Vanessa couldn't help smirking to herself. Was Mia perhaps feeling able to ask for what she really wanted? Time for them to sit together away from the music, just the two of them?

"Somewhere more quiet? I know just the place" she said, setting her half-finished drink down and taking Mia's hand. "Come on."

She led the way over to the back of the room, stopping in front of a metallic door and holding her wrist up to a discreet panel set into the wall beside it. Her watch beeped and a small light on the panel flashed green, followed by the sound of a lock sliding somewhere out of sight. Vanessa pushed the door open to reveal a straight corridor lined with crimson carpetting. A single door was set into the left hand wall, another into the right, and at the end of the corridor was an elevator. Vanessa led Mia down to it, and after pressing her watch against another panel, the elevator doors slid open and they stepped inside.

"That's one of the fun things about owning this nightclub...I can go wherever I want" she said, shooting Mia a sly smirk as the doors closed behind them. Her tone had been playful, as if to acknowledge that she was dropping a new piece of information on her companion.

Vanessa pressed one of two buttons on the elevator's panel and with a faint shift in motion the elevator began moving upwards. Seconds later the doors slid open to reveal a luxury apartment framed by large windows that looked out over the city, affording a tantalising glimpse of a swimming pool and hot tub set into the massive balcony area.

"One of the other fun things about owning it is I can live above it" she chuckled, leading Mia forward and into the apartment.

"Come on."

Mia nodded. Happy that was the choice Vanessa had
made, not to say she couldn’t handle the dance floor again. Even as the two women made their way through the dense crowd she could not help but dance. Occasionally having to stop herself from halting completely just to let loose again. Yeah, you’re definitely buzzed, girl, she smirked at the thought, guess my self control isn’t as strong as I thought. She was no stranger to the effects of alcohol, in fact at one point she struggled with brief addiction.

Just after graduating the academy. The pressure of everything, and from everyone.

Somehow, she couldn’t help but feel,
different. Those bartenders sure no how to make ‘em,” Mia giggled. “Wonder how long the schooling is for that,” she added, keeping pace with Vanesaa’s long graceful strides. The redhead moved almost carelessly, as if she had traveled this road thousands of times before. She had said she was a regular, after all. Perhaps she held some short of VIP access.

The brunette faced the metallic door, her eyebrows raised with confusion. She hadn’t been to many nightclubs, but large secured doors usually didn’t indicate something good. Her hazel hues glanced to the side, careful not to linger as Vanessa’s watched illuminated green. In moments she faced a long hallway, it’s plush carpet a deep color of lust. What the hell is this?

A part of her wanted to stop right there. Her detective intuition, in a sense, urged her something was off. However, that nervous uncertainty and suspicion faded. The euphoric sensation creeping up her spine. With a smile she began to decent towards the elevators at the end of the room. Her gut ached with excitement, “Let me guess,” Mia turned to the woman with glee, “VIP section?” Her eyes gleamed with the question.

"That's one of the fun things about owning this nightclub...I can go wherever I want"
Oh shit. Owner? If the brunette had still been sipping on a drink it would have sprayed from her lips. Her gut now twisting with concern. Good fucking job, Mia. Your hanging out with the owner of the club you’re investigating, and you’re drunk. Smart. Mia did her best to hold her poker face, keeping that dimpled grin on her flushing face. If Vanessa were to point out the sudden reddening of her flesh, she’d simply blame it on being claustrophobic.

This could turn into a serious prob-

Mia’s mouth fell open as soon as the elevator doors opened, revealing the exact opposite of what she was expecting. “You aren’t joking, this is, well, wow,” her bright eyes struggled to take in the gorgeous apartment, “I can’t believe this is all above the nightclub,” she added taking a small step inside. Sure, she was no stranger to an upscale atmosphere. Not only did she come from a background of money herself, but her future in-laws were owners of a successful law firm in the city. Yet, this seemed to top all the homes she had seen. Her heels clicked lightly as she made her way in deeper, each step more confident than the next. “Vanessa, this is amazing," Mia's voiced trailed off. bounding to the large windows where a pool, hot tub, and stunning view of the city seemingly waited for her.

"
If only I brought my swimsuit."

Vanessa watched Mia with a grin on her face as the brunette stepped out of the elevator and looked around in obvious awe. The splendour of her accomodation had long since stopped being novel to Vanessa but she still loved seeing the reactions of those she brought up here when they first saw it. Mia's reaction was everything she'd hoped it would be, a perfect blend of girlish awe and adult intrigue that lit up her beautiful face and seemed to bring new life into her vibrant eyes.

The redhead said nothing until Mia remarked how amazing the place was, content to just watch the other woman and take in her infectious enthusiasm.

"Not bad, eh?" she smirked, casting a look around the apartment as if it was the most mundane thing in the world to her. "Not many people know this is up here. I had to spend a small fortune renovating it when I took over this place from the last owner but I'd say it was worth it."

Ah yes, the last owner. Vanessa had never liked him. The little worm had been the head of a sex trafficking group that Mia's own gang had maintained a fierce rivalry with. Things had come to a head when he'd somehow found out about the drug Vanessa was manufacturing. He'd been keen to get his hands on it so that he could more easily drug and sedate the women his gang abducted off the streets, and he wasn't about to ask nicely. Killing him and claiming his apartment for herself had been an easy decision to make. Redecorating it and permanently wiping the stench of his prior occupation from the place had been an even easier one.

Vanessa followed Mia's line of sight toward the outdoor area and walked over to her, standing beside the brunette and smirking at her. An excited tingle passed across her skin and down between her legs as she looked at Mia, erotic possibilities for how the night could go flitting through her mind.

The redhead placed a hand gently on the small of Mia's back and unlocked the glass door leading out to the pool and hot tub with the other.

"Who says you need a swimsuit?" she asked, her voice low and sensual.

She pushed the door open and moved in front of Mia, taking the other woman's hands in hers and looking into Mia's eyes as she began to walk backwards, guiding Mia out with her toward the pool. As they reached the edge of it Vanessa stopped and slowly released Mia's hands. She slipped out of her heels and reached behind herself, unzipping her dress and letting it fall to the ground. With her eyes still fixed on Mia's and a come hither smirk on her face, Vanessa stood before Mia fully naked and exposed save for her black panties. Her soft, pale skin was covered in beautifully inked tattoos, and her ample breasts sat pert and firm against her chest.

Vanessa slipped out of her black panties and turned to the pool. She faced it for a moment, then raised her arms, bent her legs and sprang forward, diving flawlessly into the clear water with a splash. She resurfaced moments later, wiping water from her face and grinning at Mia.

"Come on in, the water's heated!" she exclaimed, that same sultry edge still present in her voice.

Am I dreaming? Under different circumstances, she would have simply strolled around the waterside while throwing questions out about who the previous owner was. Maybe they had connections to what’s been happening in the city? However, it was all drifting far from her mind. None of what she came for held importance, not anymore.

Her career. Her fiancé.

The brunette wasted no time in striping off her own clothes. Starting off with her black coat, which was carelessly tossed aside. Buzzed or not, Mia remembered the two very things that would blow her cover. That shiny badge and her pistol. Using the sound of Vanessa’s splash as cover, she quickly disarmed and rolled the items into the coat.

It was as if a dark cloud lifted, a small smile crossing her lips as the redhead resurfaced. The sight was one that anyone would be envious over. Seeing the soaked, topless, and beautifully painted woman against the soft glow of the pool was one she’d never forget. Mia wedged her fingers underneath the straps of her dress and slowly slid them down her goosebump riddled arms. With a small wiggle, the fabric pooled around her heels.

She purposely saved them for last.

Wanting Vanessa to watch her finish, Mia took her time slipping them off one by one. The sound of them hitting the concrete next made her heart race with excitement. Leaving her matching set of black lingerie on she preformed her own nearly perfect dive into the water. She lingered under the surface long enough to make a playful circle around the woman. The tips of her fingers brushed against her legs, even under water the bold colors of Vanessa’s tattoos stood out.

I want to see them. All of them.

The thought passed her mind as came up, a laugh following instantly. “You weren’t kidding. This feels amazing
,” she beamed, tipping her body back. Mia closed her eyes, everything around her seemed to intensify. She simply felt, good. Even with eyes shut, the redhead could be seen, an image beautifully burned into her brain.

I was a swim champ back in high-school,” Mia fluttered open her hazel hues. “I’ve always wanted a pool like this,” and someone to share it with. She bit the fullness of her bottom lip, now floating within arms reach of Vanessa. “I may never leave,” Mia teased, giving her a wink. With a relaxed sigh, she repositioned herself to stand.

The drug pumping through Mia's veins was powerful and effective but it wasn't mind control. It could strip inhibitions clean away and enhance the way everything felt, but it couldn't make someone do something they didn't already want to do on some subconscious level.

So when Mia quickly began stripping off her clothes, Vanessa felt a rush of excitement steeling over herself. There had always been a chance that Mia wouldn't follow Vanessa into the pool, but the hurried way the brunette stripped told Vanessa just how badly some part of her longed to plunge into the heated waters alongside her.

She watched with hungry eyes as Mia stripped off, taking in every inch of the brunette's body. She'd known the other woman had a beautiful figure beneath her clothes but as Mia's dress slid down to the tiled floor, Vanessa could appreciate for the first time just how stunning her companion really was. Her pert breasts looked firm and inviting behind the fabric prison that was their bra, her abdomen was flat and toned with a sexy little groove running down the centre to her naval that practically begged to be explored with Vanessa's tongue, and then there were her legs.

Holy shit, those legs.

Vanessa had always been a sucker for a sexy pair of legs and a pert ass, and Mia's long, slender and toned legs had her biting her lower lip. Clad in heels they were truly a thing of beauty, and the sight of Mia stood at the poolside in just her lingerie and heels was so majestic in its sensuality that Vanessa could feel the heat between her legs intensifying just from beholding it. She smiled seductively as Mia took her time removing her heels one at a time, and as they looked at one another it felt to Vanessa as if an unspoken understanding of where this might lead had passed between the two of them.

A sense of excited anticipation rose inside Vanessa as Mia readied herself and then dove into the pool with a grace that exceeded her own. She watched the distorted shape of the other woman moving around her elegantly beneath the water, grinning excitedly as she felt Mia's fingers brush against her skin. The brunette soon surfaced, looking almost ethereally beautiful as she floated on her back in the shimmering, shifting water. She looked as if she'd been freed of her worries, a look that was somehow heightened by her wet hair and body.

"A swim champion?" Vanessa repeated, moving slowly closer. "I should have known. That dive just now was like watching a pro swimmer. Now it all makes sense. No wonder you've got such an incredible body."

The way Mia winked at her stirred another moment of excitement within the redhead. She was closer now, and as Mia righted herself Vanessa would shift near enough that her bare breasts gently touched Mia's bra. She looked into the other woman's brown eyes, gazing into their shining depths as she smirked seductively. She raised her arms slowly out of the water and folded them around Mia's neck, her heart now racing with excitement as the anticipation in the air around them grew thick and heavy.

"Maybe I don't want you to leave" She replied softly.

Normally, Mia would instantly shy away from such compliments. Not that she was necessarily a self conscious person, but that she hardly heard them come with sincerity. Her own “soon to be“ husband lacked heavily in that department, the man was lucky to have snagged what he did. It was true that opposites attracted, what he lacked in - she made up for on some level.

There was no masking the consistent verbal altercations the couple found themselves in lately. Mostly over common worries. Money, bills, sex, all reaching a boiling point before she headed out for the evening. The effects of the confrontation stayed behind with the grimy cabby driver. It was one thing Mia had always been good at, pretending that things were fine when they weren’t.

Bottles of emotion sat clustered on the woman’s mental shelf. Pushing it downwards to the point of mere collapsing.

Until now. Until meeting Vanessa. Mia couldn’t remember the last time she felt like this, calm and free. No longer baring the weight on her shoulders. She watched the redhead move towards her, moving amongst the warm steam rising around them - as some water goddess. The brunette parted her lips to speak only to stop before the words could leave.

No. She wouldn’t stop it this time.

Mia smiled as the woman’s arms moved up and over head head. Her heart pounded against her chest as Vanessa pressed into the thin fabric of her soaked bra. “Oh? Is that right,” her smiled turned coy, giving her dark lashes a flutter. Underneath of the water she wrapped her own arms around Vanessa’s shapely waist. “See,” Mia raised an eyebrow as her tongue trailed the fullness of her bottom lip before pressing softly against Vanessa’s mouth. “Smudge proof,” Mia whispered as their lips separated reluctantly.
