Is this a goo site to use?

Just curious, since I'm new here to the site. Is Bluemoon a good site to use for roleplay? What have been your experiences?

I'd say it's probably the easiest to use for how accessible and customizable RTs are. I used to lurk around R34 but as you'd expect, it's primarily a porn site and not exactly the best way to search for consistent writing partners, though there were exceptions.

That, and I have found a lot of great people to write with as well as friends on here! There is a slice of community for just about everything you can imagine.

Naturally if you expect to never be ghosted... well, the risk is the same everywhere you go, so there's no way to gauge that aspect all of the time.

It's the most populated RP forum that I'm on. And it's where I've found the majority of my partners over the the last couple years. But it's really a ghost-friendly community, and I've found a high percentage of those, too. So, it's definitely a quantity situation. Out of all the XenForo forums I've spent time on, it's kind of in the middle for functionality and strictness of oversight.

In the end, I always come back for the quantity.

BMR has a large, generally-friendly community. You'll get your chatterboxes and your lurkers. People who'll talk to you and people who'll ignore you. People who are polite, and people who are...less-so.

As a website, it's pretty stable, and the functionality is good enough. It's robust and easy enough to navigate and organise.

But in the end, it's like any other forum: you'll get out of it what you put into it. Effort will be rewarded, but you'll need to take the misses with the hits.

I don't know about a goo site, (that's probably a niche you can find on here though) but I think it's pretty good
