The adventuring world is full of great and noble heroes, the kinds of inspirational legends that rescue towns from orcish hordes, rescue princesses and win wars. Of course, there's no shortage of adventurers because there is no shortage of adventure in a fantasy world!
But what about the schmucks that get stuck with the odd jobs? Not every wisened old man in a tavern has a heroic deed in mind when he hires a plucky would-be hero. Not every quest is some prestigious honor, you know.
That's the story I have in mind with this thread here. A story about a down on his luck adventurer trying and failing to make a big splash on the hero scene. This setting would be very lighthearted, with a lot of jokes and levity going on even if it may occasionally have some serious moments. Below the general stuff I will have a quick explanation of the setting and the character I plan to play, so go ahead and check it out!
Post length: I tend to write quite a bit for my posts, at least 3 paragraphs unless there's not much going on. I don't expect my partner to write volumes every post, but a healthy matching with some details is definitely welcome.
Smut: Well, considering the forum we're on, there will definitely be some smut involved. In this kind of setting I can imagine this would be fairly heavy smut to plot ratio, but I definitely do prefer to have some decent character moments and story development going on even if it gets silly. It just makes the sexy times that much better, I think.
I am fairly open kink-wise and I will update this thread with an F-list for anyone curious. I am looking for a female partner for this, so no MxM pairings here. My absolute no's are the obvious blood and gore and toilet stuff but other than that I'll hear you out for anything particular that tickles your fem-pickle. Sorry for that mental image.
Romance: I admit, I am a romantic at heart, so I would really like to have an element of this going on. Definitely not love at first sight, maybe even a gradual shift from indifferent to affectionate but I love a good romance in a story. On the low end maybe our characters are pretty much just adventuring partners with benefits, but that actually sounds pretty fun too!
Posting Frequency: My posting habits can be variable, but I do try to post at least once per day and more if possible. I do try to put a lot of effort in each post but I do have a pretty busy schedule so I will definitely give you a heads up if I have any absences longer than a few days. Obviously, I don't expect a partner to just blast out posts all day and night, we all have lives, so no sweat if you take your time or a reply takes a bit longer to come through.
Communication: I like discussing ideas and possible moves for the future of the story via PM. I would also prefer to RP via PM but I could be persuaded to do a thread. OOC chat is fine by me too!
