For Jack, his job is what defines him and gives him an elevated sense of self-importance and purpose not to mention allows him to provide reasonably well for his family.

At home, Jack is married to a beautiful wife, Lea, his high school sweetheart who back in the day used to cheer him on whenever he got called off the second string bench to play in a big game.

Like everyone else at Zuleau Jack is completely enthralled by Emma DeWitt's dominant persona and has increasingly become sexually obsessed with a woman that he considers a ball-busting femme fatale, sex goddess made flesh. Both fearing and lusting for her Jack has even reached the point that he daydreams about the day she will notice what he's truly capable of and what's he's worth.
