The day after graduation. What a feeling! No more school, no more classes and no more dealing with the immature kids. It was all so wonderful, but it was all so horrible because her best friend of twelves years. He was leaving her to travel the Country and it broke her heart. She would never see her best friend again. She pulled up to their hang out spot, where she laid a small blanket down by their tree along with a small basket of food as she sat down beside it. Her dark blue eyes peered down at the grassy ground as she sighed. She almost didn't want this to come, she didn't want this to be the last time they were together. She loved him too much. And not just as a friend either. For the past four years, she had began to grow strong feelings for him. But how could she tell him without ruining their friendship.

Aislyn was her name, a young girl of 18 and in love with her best friend. Heartbroken, yet she kept that hidden inside. She stood tall at 5'7'', her hair a dark chocolate brown and her skin lightly tanned. She wore a light blue shirt with a pair of blue jeans and sandles which she kicked off, hugging her knees to her chest as she waited for him to show.

Thank god gradution day was almost done with no more having to put up with nerds and jocks alike, just sweet freedom, tommorow was the first day of fun and what way to began such fun than with a picnic with hif most trusted friend Aislynn.

Peter was rathe tall at 6 foot and 1 inches in height, weighing a mere 150 pounds he was a little underweight. This picnic was the last time he would see Aislynn for a while so it was going to meet because of them going to diffrent colleges it was a hard time for him.

She leaned against the tree before she stood up slowly and crossed her arms over her stomach and slowly walked forward. Their hang out area was close to the ridge of the cliff above the town. This was the spot for the most beautiful view of the sunset, which is what they almost always did every night. She moved to the edge, standing by it as she glanced down and breathed in closing her eyes. Her fingers ran through her hair and her hand touched her cheek softly.

It was now 3 in the afternoon, a light breeze which made it all the better. She knew that they'd soon be going off to college and she breathed in softly. She was only going a state away and yet was going across the country. She didn't know if she'd see him again.

"I'm sorry I am late Aislynn." Peter called out as he ran up the hill towards her, he had a small picnic basket in one hand and a picnic blanket draped over his arm, he knew he was late and hated making Aislynn wait, she was the closest friend he had and leaving her to go to a diferent college was impossibly hard for him to do.

She turned, hearing his voice and she smiled. "Hey!" She said and waited for him to set the basket down along with the blanket. Before she moved over and wrapped her arms around his neck. Pulling him into a hug and she smiled softly. "Wonderful that we've graduated, huh?" She asked with a laugh and a smile.

He set the basket down and before he could move any further he was being hugged from behind by Aislynn, his eyes looking at her. "Yeah good we graduated but sadly we leave town for seperate coplleges tommorow and I'm gonna miss these picnics."

She heard his words and she sighed as she dropped her hands, "Don't remind me.." She said and turned her head as she looked to the ground, touching her forehead and she nodded. "I will too.." She said and looked up to him with a frown, her eyes already watering and she laughed as she wiped them and moved to the picnic to hide the fact that she was practically crying.

"I can't belive we have grown up so much yet you've not change in the slighest Aislynn." he said softly sitting down on the picnic blanket looking at her, she was icredibly beautiful, how could she not be he had alwasy thought she was beautiful from the first moment they mate in kindergarten.

She smiled at his words and sat down on it as well but scooting up between his legs and leaning up against him. She laughed, "Is that a good or bad thing.. that I haven't changed?" She asked and turned her head, looking to him.
