Welcome to my shoddy request thread! Y'all can call me Caligula, Cali, or AJ. I've been craving some fame-themed RP with ideas I've had floating in my head for a while. Now since these ideas haven't been drawing much attention, and since I can write a gaslighting asshole decently, I've decided on doubling.
We can each play the male character for whichever plot(s) listed below that we decide on together. Or if you want to write something other than MxF for your pairing, let me know and we can adjust the characters accordingly.

I'm a domme leaning switch, though I don't think most of these pairings will resemble a healthy BDSM relationship so those themes may not be heavy.
I'm flexible on post length but tend to write around two paragraphs for each reply and don't do well with novella (7+ paragraphs consistently). Frequency of replies might depend on how much we're writing. Usually, I can manage one response a day.
I'm not picky about the ratio of smut and story, but I can't deal with porn logic and cardboard characters.
I'm fine doing both on-site and Discord roleplay, but I prefer to hash out the basic groundwork here.
The RP setting is flexible. It can be set during the present, the future, or we can go retro. They're set in a western culture by default, but it could be interesting to use South Korea/the kpop industry as a setting for the plots as well.

Popstar/Android: The relationship between humans and androids has been at odds for a while as the latter is increasingly sought after for jobs previously held by humans. And not even celebrities are safe from the boot. MC is a reckless musician whose management has been pressuring her to hand over the rights to her likeness for them to create android copies of her for productivity (and god knows what else). YC is an android assigned to look after her and who is seeming to slowly gain sentience and free will.

Popstar/Manager: MC was YC's pet project, the one whose image he meticulously crafted, his magnum opus. The lines of their relationship blurred, but eventually, she broke free from him and his vice grip on her career. Now that she's thriving and/or living happily without him, he's left with a bitterness that could fester into an active vendetta.

Musician/Muse: MC starts as a fan who idolized YC to the point of near worship. Then maybe he took her under his wing, making her a protégé of sorts. But somewhere along the way, she gains fame of her own and he now has to deal with the vain monster he created.

Producer/Protégé: Light or heavy Illuminati themes. YC is a renowned producer who always catapults the artists he works with into stardom, though the partnerships never seem to work out long-term. MC is a singer struggling to make it in the business who approaches YC and convinces him to take a chance on her. But soon she'll find out the dark secret of his success and what it really takes to be famous.

Rockstar/Popstar: YC is the lead singer and main guitarist of a rising band, MC is a veteran pop idol. They're like water and oil from the very first encounter, neither having any respect for the other, possibly even occasionally taking swipes at each other to the press. Somehow, through some freak accident unbeknownst to them, they switch bodies overnight and are forced to work together to keep up appearances until the issue is resolved.

Old Money/New Money/Viral Star: A Cruel Intentions inspired idea where a rich nepotism brat is enlisted by a former child star with a squeaky clean reputation to sabotage an up-and-coming 'It Girl' threatening to steal her spot.

Actress/Director: YC is a revered but challenging director, either an award-winning veteran or a newcomer quickly gaining respect and praise in the industry. MC is an actress hired as a lead in his upcoming film. Whether she's a struggling rookie or has recently fallen from grace, she has something to prove and will put up with anything. Including the director's increasingly drastic methods to make her performance more real.

Celebrity/Stalker: This one can go a couple of different ways. A). MC is obsessed with YC and kidnaps them. The reasoning can range from a simple fan-based infatuation/delusion or bitterness towards YC for some opportunity she lost out on because of him (eg. bombed at an audition for one of his films). B). Basically the same thing, but vice versa.

Pornstar/Director: The initial idea is of a strange (veering very close to predatory) relationship developing between an older female director and her new muse, but like the other ideas, we can change the genders. Voyeurism will probably be the most prominent kink here.

Streamer/Stalker: Heavily or loosely based on the Scream franchise. MC is a well-known reviewer/streamer in the horror community. Sometimes her opinions cause controversy, but she's become used to handling pushback and rarely backs down. She barely flinches when faced with a 'troll,' but an ominous new online harasser who is uncomfortably knowledgeable about her cracks through her detached facade.

Roles Undecided: The astronomical rise of a musician is cut short by his untimely death, but while his loved ones privately grieve, the world is kept in the dark about this tragedy. The star dying right in the middle of an expensive world tour puts his management in a rough spot, but having come across YC, a near doppelganger of their late cash cow, they devise a plan to finish the tour with a placeholder instead. MC is the singer's former fiancée and close collaborator who struggles with the guilt of taking part in the scheme while battling her displaced feelings for this doppelganger.
