You lack people skills. Any time you finish a conversation, you end up wishing you said or did something differently. Through excellent word choice, you can overcome this, but it won't be easy. Or entertaining.

• The Broker

Your adversary has a potent marketing liaison at their disposal. This Broker makes deals for mortals' souls, and will spread your adversary's influence and increase their reach.

• The Bitch/Dick

A dethroned archdemon is also intending on making you theirs. They'll stop at nothing to capture you and bind you through dark magics. Escape within a year, or your trial will be considered a failure! And you'll be stuck. Forever. As a sex slave.

• Demon Monarch

Demons are invading this world! You must deal with the head honcho or the world will be overrun!

• Deadly as Sin

Every month, one of the seven deadly sins will have its grip on you, rotating until all sins have had a month. Then, the cycle restarts, with a new random order. During a sin's month, you have an increased desire to take actions within that sin's portfolio.

• Cold Blooded

You are incapable of generating your own body heat. Keep warm, or die of hypothermia!

• Easily Bound

You're very susceptible to being captured or trapped.

• Amelia

Amelia, the goddess of Lust and Sex, is part of your companionship in the form of a minor deific avatar. You are contractually bound to have sex with her until she is satisfied twice per day, or three times on weekend days. At times, she will refuse to have sex, at which time you are to force yourself upon her, anyway. Failure to abide by these terms will result in your soul becoming Amelia's property for 1000 years, effective immediately upon the terms of the contract being broken.

• Shivers

You give off an unsettling aura. Others get the creeps just being around you, sometimes irrationally so. The effect diminishes as people get to know you.

• Limiter

All your powers are reduced to 20% effectiveness. For up to 1 hour a day, you can exert your full power. Any longer and you'll need weeks to recover. Or worse.

• Narcolepsy

You will fall asleep at random. You get drowsy roughly ten minutes in advance, after which you become comatose from anywhere between 10 minutes and 2 hours. During this time, you are safe from bodily harm. While within a radius of 1 mile from any force aligned with your adversary, you will never suffer this drawback's effects.

• Spanner in the Works

One of your companions during this trial will either be an infiltrator, or will turn coat to serve your adversary in their attempt to stop you from completing your trial.

• Total Recall

You can recall any memory in perfect detail if you but close your eyes.

• Personal Maid

The avatar of Agrias that has joined your companionship is bound to serve you as your maid. Oops.

• Harem

Your sexual partners have their jealousy of other partners reduced.

• Sod Cancer

Your companions' lives are tied to yours. They cannot die by any means, except through this tie. If you die, so do they. And only you get to come back to life.

• Mana Factory

Your body is scrawled with magical runes that cause you to replenish Mana at a greatly increased rate.

• Place of Power

You can create a Place of Power by walking the boundary of an area of your choice five times in succession. All magic is enhanced in this area. The selected area can by no larger than 5 square kilometers, and you must remain within the area for a full week after its creating, lest the place of power slowly degrades.

• Priorities

All your mental processes are greatly refined in Efficiency and potency.

• Sidekick

A teenager is bound to serve you as your sidekick. The have all the same powers as you, but weaker.

• Synergy

Your body becomes stronger as your Mana capacity increases.

• Soul Refraction

You can project your soul into a corporeal form, shaping it into anything from limbs to weapons. Damage received to your soul while it is corporeal requires time to heal.

• One Waifu One Laifu

At any point during your trial, you may select one companion's soul to be fused with yours. They gain a weaker natural talent for all your powers, and a telepathic channel between the two of you will form, through which you can communicate over vast distances.

• Hearts and Minds

Your companions start to become romantically attracted to you as you continue to treat them well, even if you aren't normally their type. Even if for some reason the companion would no longer have a reason to stay with you, they'll come up with an excuse to do so, anyway.

• Toby

It's a cat with a mustache pattern on his face. He is immortal, but seems to be otherwise perfectly normal. Oh, and he is okay with being put in cute little kitty clothes.
