Hi there!

I'm an avid roleplayer from Eastern Europe. I've been doing it for a long time, not sure how long exactly. I'd like to think I'm pretty good at writing, and I'm looking for long term writing partners for long term stories. I come once more in search of outdoors-themed fantasy, but before I get down to it, I'd like to give you some information so you know right away if we're compatible.

1. Writing medium. I always preferred IM services. Currently using Discord. I find it to be very useful and the annoying character limit can easily be overcome; It offers great functionality and a way to keep everything organized.

2. I'm not here to make passes at anyone, I'm only here to write a compelling story. Given time, we can become pals, that's about it.

3. Post length. I don't do one-liners. Hell, I don't do four-liners either. It's anywhere between a couple paragraphs and a fairly big piece, but usually 3-4 paragraphs is my average. I'm good at adjusting to your post length. Don't need 1000 word replies for the sake of it, either - I'd much rather have zero fat and a short reply than a dragged-out, over-padded essay.

4. Timezones. They're a factor with me - I'm generally on the other side of the world from most people on BMR.

5. Plot vs Smut. Smut is great, but it's definitely not essential. 80vs20/70vs30 at most. I'm much more interested in stories and human relationships and emotions, and have no qualms about writing a completely smutless plot.

6. It should go without saying that I don't disappear without a word and I'd like to receive the same treatment. I love feedback and criticism, and I believe in fixing standing issues instead of breaking up a good writing partnership. Talk to me. My activity can be spotty, but I'll get back to you in the shortest time possible.

With that out of the way, I'd like to talk a bit about what I want to write:

I'm looking to write a journey, a nomadic fantasy tale that is rooted in Slavic and Central Asian motifs, taking a step away from the classic, culturally European fantasy and a step closer to a place close to my heart and the corner of the Earth I happen to reside in. A simpler existence, no less cruel or drenched in power struggles. Ancient and savage gods and their peoples, open grassland and screaming chariots - the way is perilous. I'm looking to write about two people who may not even be that fond of each other, going through thick and thin, facing the brutalities of Nature and Man alike and rejoicing in simple comforts. A story about how Less is More, the untapped reserves of strength and willpower we keep safe for the blackest day. Complex characters with agendas, hopes, fears and weaknesses. A rich and mystical environment where it's best not to venture into the fog. And, at the end of it all, a plain bedroll of animal skin that feels better than a palace bed.

Last time I came around, I've been looking to write a fantasy story that focused on the outdoors as its main theme, to give our natural environment the literary love and respect it deserves and outline its many beauties and dangers. I'd still like to put a lot of emphasis on this, and what better way to experience the scenery around you than to travel through it during a long and arduous journey?

As for the story itself, I'd much prefer if we work out characters and motivations together and figure out just who is going where and why. I love plotting and brainstorming, and I'd hate to present some rigid railroad for you to just fill in a slot. If I wanted to create the plot on my own, I'd write it solo.

If you'd like to experience a slightly different brand of fantasy, if you think solving a food shortage or braving treacherous bogs is a fun challenge, if you're tired of saving the world - then eat a hearty morning meal, saddle up and send your horse trotting after mine into the sunrise. We're going East.

Any questions, discussion and general pleasantries most welcome in the PMs.
Much love.
