The take over of Shadow Moses had run smoothly with few difficulties. However, long before the arrival of the fabled hero, Solid Snake, two of the operatives who helped take over Shadow Moses had begun to feel dicontent. Particularly after discovering the nuclear strike capability of Metal Gear. These two operatives were soon captured and put into holding cells where they now reside.

Jo Carpenter was no exception stripped of her rank and position she found herself little more than anther of Liquid's hostages. A gentle sigh escaped from the captives lips as she glanced around the dark cell. In the dim light she couldn't make out very much at all. However, she had the feeling that there were others in this prison as well. So she remained silent.

The defection and take over the shadow moses incident didn't go over with Tracy. She had sat in a cell next to the other operative that she had been comrades with. Her eyes dully looked over the cell as her light flickered some every so often. When she got up she walked over to the door and banged on it some as a genome soldier hit it, "Shut up will ya?" He said as she frowned showing her middle finger to him as he glared more.

'This is hopeless' She thought as she sat down on the bed and laid down looking up at the vents and the other metal surroundings in her cell. The thought of being trapped her infuriated her as she looked at the door and then the vents. Her mind found ways to get out though without the tools she couldn't even get to it. "Damint!", She cursed and the soldier came and banged on the cell door. "Shut up!", He cussed again as she growled, "Stupid fucking soldier!" She yelled as he charged in after opening it up and bashed her to the ground, "Shut it bitch! You are a prisoner act like it!" He cussed as she laid on the ground avoiding getting up due to the FAMAS that he held.

Jo heard the movement in the cell next to her as well as the arguement. She recognized Tracy's voice and gasped slightly, concerned that her companion's stubborn nature might get her killed. She closed her eyes as she heard Tracy hit the floor. After some brief thought, Jo got up and began banging on her own door in the hopes of distracting the soldier long enough for Tracy to get the advantage. "Hey you asshole! Let me out of here!" She shouted, biting her lip. She hoped that her actions didn't hut Tracy's chances.

Tracey saw the man turn and then scream, "Just you wait bitch You..." He couldn't say much before when his gun was out of his hands and then behind over the back of his head as he slumped to his chest with his ass in the air as she dragged him in the cell and took off the clothes putting them on covering herself up as her body was sleek and it made it hard to believe it was soldier. She hid her hair along with herself only her eyes could be seen.

When she could she unlocked her friend's cell door though she hadn't seen much looking at her as she smiled not able to really to though. "Now...lets go.", She said quickly turning her back as she looked outside but hearing a banging in the vents as she wondered who it was. "Come on...they are coming!", She cursed as she held out her gun and pointed it in distances and other things to make sure they had a way out though they might be getting a surprise soon.

Jo nodded as she left her cell staying close to Tracey. Being unarmed left her with a bit of a disadvantage. She looked up toward the vent quickly when she heard someone moving around in them. Her gaze narrowing slightly before she was jerked back to reality by Tracey's voice. She nodded quickly, glancing back at the vent momentarily before following Tracey further into the base.

Suddenly a group of assault troops appear as she hid with Jo behind a wall. Her eyes looking over at her as she then stepped out and then looked at them, "Why are you here?" She said confidently as they looked at her, "We are here investigating any possible prison break outs! We cannot have random troops wondering that could cause problems!", They yelled back at her as she smirked, "Don't worry I put down the rebellion and they are now in their cell resting." She said as they looked at her for a second and nodded, "Alright Charlie Delta 1 2 niner the coop has been secured." They said into their walky talkies. Then turned and walked off as she noticed another man in a cell.

Motioning to Jo to come with her she walked over to where a black man was sitting on a bed. ~The DARPA chief?!~ Her eyes widened when she thought they had taken the DARPA Chief to a safe place to discuss the problems in the base or some other big international debate. But now he was here sitting in a Cell when she suddenly saw a man appear from a Vent. ~Who is that?! I thought they didn't send anybody or the outside world wasn't going to help anybody trapped!~ Her mind was going nuts as they began to talk and suddenly when they had finished she hit the door making Snake jump up, "Shut up in there will ya!?" She said imitating the guard as the DARPA chief shrugged off her attack as she walked off. When she did that she went to Jo, "They are talking about what has been going on Jo. They are basically making something of a weapon and this man...he knows how to kill them..says he has done it in the past." She explained to her while she looked back as she realized that they should be getting out.

Jo was silent and still, hardly allowing a breath to escape her lips while Tracey bluffed their former comrades. She released a sigh of relief when the bought the bluff and emerged from behind the wall. Following her further until they stopped by the cell, she couldn't hear anything clearly but got the full story when Tracey shared the information with her. She breathed out slowly while she waited for Tracey to make a move, until they secured another weapon, Jo was not only defenseless but useless.

"He knows how to do it? Maybe we should be helping him out." She said quietly as she glanced around the hall to be sure no guards were coming. "Hey, I've got a bad feeling about this. I think we should move on." She said looking over toward a pair of doors.

Tracey sighed, "We need to get you a uniform Jo...you will not last wearing that. I mean they barely fell for my ruse. I have this feeling that it won't happen..." Before she could say her sentence her gun was dropped and she was being held, "Urk!..." She let out as she looked behind her, "Wh...what are you doing?!" To the person that held her with a strong grip. IT was horrible and she didn't know why they were attacking her was it because of her uniform? The man looked ahead and looked at the girl in front of Tracey.

"Go I got this one distracted!", He yelled out as he singled for the woman to escape yet she didn't and it made him blink. "Don't just stand there ...run!", He struggled with Tracey surprisingly barely able to keep her detained. Must of been her training she did before hand with hand to hand combat. Though Snake continued to hold onto her making sure she didn't move and had a good grip to where he could break her neck if he wanted to. Though dead guards to him weren't a good sign of being stealthy and so he would avoid killing this guard in case an attack team is sent up due to loss of contact.

The other nodded in agreement. If she didn't get a uniform she was only going to get in the way. Aside from no uniform she didn't have a weapon, making her useless and defenseless. Jo's gaze widened as the man snatched Tracey right before her eyes. She raised her arms in quick alarm. "You don't understand! We're on your side!" She said quickly. Her gaze shifted to the door behind the man and Tracey to make sure that noone was coming.

"I know it's hard to believe but trust me on this. We're trying to stop these guys too." She said, hoping that this man would not only understand but believe her.

The man looked at this woman and smirked, "You are the ploy or confused. Get going so I can take this soldier out and get out of here before they arrive. The DARPA chief is dead and I need to find President Baker...apparently we need to find him." He said softly as he held Tracey still looking at Jo wondering what she was going to do. Apparently this woman had something with this soldier.

Tracey held there and she gagged a little though since she had little air to have for herself. Her eyes focused on her friend Jo. She was held there and when she noticed that the elevator was moving she looked behind her and then at Jo as she hoped that she would find a way out.

'Damn he's stubborn.' She thought. She could see that her friend was beginning to lose her air and quickly grabbed Tracey's rifle from the ground, raising it in the man's direction. "I'm done being nice about this. Let her go." Jo would rather not have to kill a man with a similar goal to herself and Tracey. They could use all the help they could get.

At the same time however, she wasn't about to let this man kill Tracey. There was no way in hell she was going to let that happen. Jo's gaze narrowed as her hand tightened around the trigger of the assault rifle. "You and I both know that if we waste any more time we're all going to get caught."

Snake let the soldier go as she moved over to Jo and he looked at them, "Hm, you two were locked away in here?" He asked and Tracey nodded. Snake looked at them and kept his hands down as he noticed that the girl hadn't used a gun or not on a person as he noticed her hands were shaking but not wanting to deal with kids he turned and walked off even with a gun pointed at him. "I got a president to save...you two get out of here! You will only get in the way.", He said as he walked into the elevator and then as they closed he was gone.

Tracey looked at Jo, "Thanks..." She gasped as suddenly she heard another sound from the elevator and it was coming up. They must of been tipped off about the disturbance and suddenly Attack Squads appeared. Tracey grabbed Jo and pulled her into the room looking out at the Squad as they were approaching in their strategic style. Tracey cursed as she knew that they were trapped in a situation with no possible way to end it right. The Squad was going to find them and they would have to fight or end up in prison or even hung or whatever that Ocolot guy did to the victims.
