In search of the female character for a remake of 'Welcome to the Rileys'. You need not have watched the entire film, the concept is fairly basic. Before plot summary, allow me to say what I'm looking for:
* Very little smut (maybe none whatsoever; but I do see the need for tasteful nudity as the second clip below demonstrates)
* Lots of story writing, character exploration, and psychological analyzation (without becoming too dark)
* Lots of what I call platonic-fluff, angst, friendship love, kisses on the forehead, and basically characters helping each other the best they can even in the situations they find themselves in.
The plot of the story is as such: my character has had a devastating emotional event which is the loss of his only daughter. He is filled with fear, regrets, and sorrow and for the past two years, he could not get over that sorrow. In the movie, he was married. But he doesn't have to be in our re-creation; however if he is, that would just add a level of emotional drama because the wife at first thinks he's having a fling. Then when he realizes what he's doing, she realizes she wants a daughter again too.
Your character will be the prostitute. (Don't think Pretty Woman; think Welcome to the Riley's) She lives and breathes to function and survive and she is good at giving patrons what they want sexually. (However, none of that will be explored in this RP except to perhaps show how she at first tries to come on to my character ... we'll call him Jack.)
Jack becomes so lonely that he decides he wants a friendship with a young gal who reminds him of his daughter. But he also knows she's a prostitute. He pays her more money than the average client at the strip club; but when they get into the private room, he doesn't want anything sexual. He simply wants to talk to her, but he feels sorry for her that she lives this kind of life. Here's a scene of when they first meet, it doesn't have to go down this way. But it shows you the flavor of the RP I am searching for: Scene 1
Even though they have a rough start, they continue hanging out with each other. For better or for worse. Eventually, Jack asks the prostitute if he could live with her for $100 a day. He will take care of her. She doesn't realize what he really means is "emotionally adopting" her as his daughter ... he doesn't even realize he is doing that. Here is another scene showing the two of them not getting along real well ... but he has very good intentions:
