Lisel had been at work all day and was glad to get home. She'd read about the amazing shooting stars that they thought may be happening tonight but she barely bothered to check the night air as she shut her door and locked it tight, glancing into her back garden. She still didn't look up as something streaked past her, smoothing her short trimmed blonde hair down, her blue eyes sparkling as she changed out of her clothes and into her pyjamas.

As she headed into the bathroom she looked around, sighing as she drank in the sight of her own tired eyes. This day could not have sucked any more and she was pretty sure tonight would be almost as bad if not worse. Things had happened today that she was still smarting from. Her job had gone down the pan, her relationship breaking up completely, another star streaked by and she looked over, not hearing anything.

Kisa looked out at the viewing screen with deep green eyes full of concern. As she brushed a few stray strands of her silvery hair away warning lights began to flash and she swore softly in a language that had never been heard by human ears."A metor shower now?"This couldnt get any worse."She said in that same language when suddenly her ship was rocked with a sudden empact and began streaking down to impact on a strange planet called Earth. She had been ordered to land there for a scientific study but she didnt know if she could land her ship safely.

With a curse she struggled to keep from crashing but her ship was struck a second time knocking out her controlls. All she could do was close her eyes and hope that she would survive as she felt the shudder of entry into Earth's atmospher. She opened her eyes to see the planet as she came closer and closer the land growing more detailed as she began to make out strange patterns, unaware that they were cities and rows of houses. With a earth shattering sound her ship impacted in the back garden of a home and with a shuddering breath Kisa lost consousness

A sudden crash and earth-shaking thump came to Lisel's attention and she swore swiftly, buttoning her coat as she dived for the stairs and headed down, bursting out into her garden. She cussed again as she spotted the crashed craft, it looked a little alien and she hurried to find the door. "FUCK" The pain in her toe told her she'd hit a part of it, the lid suddenly sliding open. "Aw... crap." An unconcscious girl seemed to be in the wreckage and Lisel paused all of ten seconds before scooping the girl out of the wreckage and carrying her inside, settling her gently on the sofa as she left to find her first aid kit and gather some water, both for drinking and cleaning ash off the girl's face.

"Hello?" She spoke hesitantly, gently cleaning the ash off the girl's face before washing the rag and setting it over the girl's forehead, gently searching for any major wounds. Most people would have freaked out a little but Lisel was not most people. She was used to UFO's and all sorts, she was a junior member of a UFO spotting club, still she refused to say much other than "Can you hear me?"

Kisa Heard a strange language being spoken and a soft groan escaped her lips as she felt herself being picked up by another creature. After a very short time she felt herself being placed on a soft surface and felt the cool liquid as the washcloth was placed on her forehead."W...What happened.."She managed to say but she wasnt sure if the creature could understand her.Her eyes opened slowly and she jumped in supprise to see a creature that looked very similar to her own race."H...How curious..."She said softly before reaching out with her slender hand.

As her fingers gently brushed against the female a soft shock seemed to flow through the two of them. This was a specal skill that all of her kind were taught at a young age.It allowed them to briefly enter anothers mind and take their language."S...strange, What are you?"She said. This time easily understood.

The girl's hand had caused something of a ripple to pass through Lisel and she paused to listen to the girl as she spoke in decent English. "I'm a human..." She spoke softly, gently pulling back a little, looking at the girl as she dipped the cloth back in the water, leaving it there for the time being. The girl was small and thin, pretty green eyes and grey-silver hair flattering her gentle features. "Are you okay?"

The question was softer this time, hesitant in some way. Lisel had felt this kind of a shock reaction before, but that had been to her now ex girlfriend. Had she really found a connection to this... girl... so fast? Why had that happened and why did she find herself caring so much? So many questions came to mind but she pushed them away, caring more about the girl's reply.

"H...Human?Then I wasnt ended by the crash."She said softly and sighed in relief. She felt tired and knew that she was weak from the impact. She had felt something strange when she had touched the Human.Never before had she felt such a sensation and it confused her."I am fine human."She said and gave her a smile. She had been ordered to not let any creatures of earth know of her presence but it seemed that that would not be hard if all humans looked as she did.She moved to sit up and looked at her."I dont mean you any harm."She said as she took in the womans features,She was very pleasing to look at and for some reasion she couldnt seem to look away.

"I know..." The reply came to the end of the girl's speech but then Lisel often replied backwards to people and she smiled softly at the use of human instead of a name. "I'm Lisel." The smile had sent a fresh wave of something into her mind and she pushed it away swiftly, the girl was a little different but sweet and clearly just a little lost. "Perhpas you should rest a while longer... that was some huge crash you had."

Kisa shook her head and tried to get up.As she did so she groned softly and fell back against the couch."I cannot stay Lisel. I must secure my craft and a place to stay while I conduct my research."She said in her soft voice as she settled back down.It was useless trying to do such things so quickly but she didnt wish to be a burden to Lisel. For some reasion she felt a warmth of happyness at the concern that she was showing.

"Rest... let me sort the craft out." Lisel's offer was persistant and clear, she looked the girl directly in the eyes as she smiled and added. "You can stay here... with me, there's pleanty of room..." As the girl seemed to relax she smiled a little more and added. "What exactly is your... race called?"

Kisa was supprised by Lisel's kindness and slowly moved back to lay down on the couch."I dont know what to say....I think you humans call it thank you?"She said thinking over the word. She let a soft sigh of relief escape her lips at the thought of just being able to rest."As her eyes met Lisel's she couldnt help but to smile back.It was easy to see that Kisa had already begun to relax her guard around her."My race? We are the Mejere."She said simply

"Mejere..." The name tasted warm on Lisel's lips her smile soft. "What do your family call you?" The question was gentle and she paused then added. "We do say thank you when people have been good to us." Her agreement to the right words was clear and she smiled softly, glad to see the alien girl relax as she had asked her to.

The way that she repeated the name of her race seemed to send a warm shiver through Kisa as said it and she smiled back."My Family? Oh you mean those that came together to make me. They named me Kisa, Kisa Elden."She said and giggled softly “I can understand but this is such a strange language."She said softly as she ran a hand though her long silvery hair and regarded her with her deep green eyes.

"I can teach you the language Kisa." Lisel had spoken the girl's name without thinking, smiling softly at the name, finding that it fitted the girl beautifully. She was strange but beautiful and sweet to boot. Perhaps she should find the girl a room, it would likely be more comfortable for her. "Parents... Humans call the people who have babies our parents, the female is a mother and the male is a father."

"Thank you Lisle, I did not expect to find such kindness here, especaly to one such as me."Kisa couldn’t help but to watch her intently, her green eyes kind and playful as she watched. She didn’t understand why but she felt comfortable with her and she was more then beautiful. She nodded in understanding as she explained the words and as she finished Kisa moved to touch her cheek gently, a gesture of friendship in her culture.

Lisel smiled softly and leant into the girl's hand without thinking much, glad of the contact between the two of them. "One such as you? Do you mean an alien?" She spoke softly, quietly confident and gentle with the girl, she had no problems with her and she found it heartwarming how honestly the girl spoke.

Kisa smiled and nodded."We have never made contact with your people before. We are unsure how your people will react."She said softly. She found that she enjoyed talking to Lisel, she was very open and confident. She was beautiful as well and couldnt help but to keep her hand against her cheek, enjoying the contact between them.

Lisel smiled as she pushed her cheek firmly against Kisa's hand, speaking softly. "If all of your sort are as gentle as you I'm sure we'd get along fine." She was speaking softly and she glanced out to check that the ship was cloaked properly. She'd attempted to do that upon freeing Kisa anyway.

"I...If all humans are as welcoming as you are... I’m very sure of that as well."She said as she followed her eyes out to the garden. She could see where the ship impacted and she could also see just the faintest shimmering of the edges of the ship. She couldn’t help but to blush softly as she felt her pushing firmly against her hand. She didn’t know why she was blushing and didn’t understand what she was doing."Is this a gesture of affection?"She asked curiously, her head tilting to the side cutely.

Lisel smiled softly as she lied a little. "Yes, it is in my family anyway." She spoke softly, kindly, unable to keep her eyes off Kisa, still she was careful not to show how fast she was falling for the girl, she'd wait and see how they got along first. Thankfully the girl was trusting which made life a little easier.
