Thanks to some generous individuals I was able to place the order for the server today and commit payment. Rar.
Teh stats!
Location: Chicago
Processor: Core2Duo E6600 (2.4 Ghz Dual Core)
RAM: 4GB DDR2 667 Mhz
HD: 2x 250GB WD SATA II drives in a hardware RAID 1 config
Bandwidth: 2.5 TB/Month
Naturally we will be getting a /29 with it, so I'm going to be dedicating an IP address to Blue Moon. Amongst other things that will let us have SSL and give BM a somewhat more robust mailserver.
The downside: Blue Moon will probably be taken down for about an hour or so. In addition, because of the change in IP there's bound to be a number of addressing problems for a few days, though I've enough on this VPS to leave a pointer up for a time.
The upside: Bragging rights >_> And consistancy, but for BM's sake mostly just bragging.
Edit: This is just a forwarning, the server still needs to be put together and I still need to configure it, compile php, run seige tests on the virgin machine, etc >_>
