Adarius quickly moved out the door, heading to the nearest cemetary. He never would understand these damned humans. They were all so fucking complicated. He couldn't grasp most of their concepts. They were so... plain. And such assholes to boot. He never understood how others could just blend with them. His only hope was that he could find a human that would make a suitible companion. He would look for her again tonight. He hoped she would be in this time. That way, he wouldn't have to wait another 500 years to find her. There was a woman out there than needed him. And tonight he would find her!
Jess looked around the corner. Those guys had stopped following her. She would have sworn they were going to kill her. Pushing the door open, she peaked around the frame. Nope. Not out there. She seemed to be in the clear. Running as fast as her legs could carry her, she slipped out the building carefully. Running to her friend's house nearby, she began pounding on the girls door, hoping she was home and not at work.
"Rhia! Open the door! Please. There is a problem!" She shouted. She prayed to the goddess that her friend answered the door before...
"Hey! There she is! Grab `er!" A male voice shouted from behind her.
Turning swiftly, she screamed, hoping someone, anyone, would help her.
