Thora fell almost 2 years ago and since then, humanity has been waging a war to stomp out the Swarm. To the public knowledge, the United Systems Defense Front (USDF) has been waging a successful war against the monsters. In reality, the USDF has been slowly losing the war trying to slow the monsters down. All is not lost however. In an act to boost the morale of humanity, the USDF unveiled the new class of soldier that will squash the insects. The AEGIS Powered Assault Armor, an advanced combat exoskeleton system designed to increase a soldiers strength, speed, and durability. With renewed vigor, recruits began to flood USDF recruiting stations to join the war effort to exterminate the Swarm, one Cricket at a time. Among them, many Thoran remnants have come to show their support and perhaps win their home back.

There we find our new recruits, aboard the shuttle taking them to "Hell's Gate" where they will receive all the tools they need to bring the war to the Swarm​
