Finally, this was it. After background checks, a lengthy interview process--written and webcam--a physical, and a fat payment, it was then travel and waiting for the 16 or so people to show up for the bus ride, one or two more women than men. Even though the stay was several weeks, everyone had been instructed to pack light. The driver didn't know nothing, so questions bounced off him like a racquetball wall. Chat in the bus was light, everyone with the excited jitters, but the smell of arousal lurked at the edges of the senses.
After a fourty minute ride, the bus pulled up outside a wrought iron gate. Just like the website and intro videos, it seemed cut out of a magazine of the rich and famous. Lush trees and a cute one-story house-style building just off the gate. The recognizable chipper collie in the polo shirt waited on them--Christie was the one who handled the entire interview and intake process. "Hi everyone! So nice to see you in the fur! Everyone excited?" Beaming, she counted heads and herded everyone around the quaint club-house looking building, where folding chairs were set up on the lawn.
"Welcome to Eros Estate!" She wagged. "Before things really get started, I'm going to run you through a few of the rules, give you a general idea of what to expect, and answer any big questions."
She first went over safety. There was always a registered nurse or EMT on duty in the Safe House--the clubhouse behind her. Then safewords; addition to the classic stoplight of green, yellow, red, she added, "Then there's Safe Haven. This is your personal fire alarm. If you are panicked, so overwhelmed you need to curl up, feeling Ill, or you are thinking of pulling out of the Estate, you say Safe Haven and we bring you here and we'll take it very seriously."
"This is a 24/7 experience--while you're on Estate grounds, you're considered 'in scene'. The only time this changes is if you say Color Red," which they'd went over, "Save Haven, or one hour a day you come to the Safe House and you get a break: use your cell, decompress, whatever. The only control you are given as a person choosing if your break is in the morning after breakfast or the in the evening around seven. Everything else is decided for you. You can talk about your kids and the office and such when you are among yourselves, but if a Master or Mistress is present, that's a no go, unless they specifically give you an 'at ease' or something. More on that later."
"I mentioned phone calls. Because there's lockers inside for all your belongings. Phone, clothes, everything except essential medication or other medical equipment--I know Marie you sleep in the carpal tunnel braces, that's fine. If you are worried about receiving emergency phone calls, I can keep watch on your phone personally, but otherwise you should've already told everyone not to reach you, and you can do so in a couple of minutes before we hit the lockers."
Christie opened the floor for questions.
